I had made it out of the city in a fucking cruiser I had boosted just before I made it to a exit road out of the city. I had beaten the fuckers hunting me. I had beaten the clown Kings of Newark. Cy. The HeavyMetal dragon of lightning and Iron stood but his focus wasn’t on me. He was staring at the assholes behind me. I remembered the peace agreement between him and the Frost God. I felt my cruiser boosted up and start to speed up racing on ahead. I flipped him off before I raced on ahead toward the portal laughing my ass off. I had won. I had won. I raced on ahead into my future. I looked back once to see the portal close behind me and Terry Sergio hop off his cycle along with the other Nomads as they faced off against the alien coward.
