Chapter 6

Two days later, Vince woke up at 5:30am and went for short run and stopped off at his horse men gym.

Eddie Williams a half giant and brother horse man took one look at him and shook his head. “What the fuck is up your ass?” He asked.

“I got a fucking dual against a psychopath who wants to make my client his breeding cow. I keep having intense sexual dreams about my client. I’m going to need to refresh my weapons skills and sweat off whatever the hell is wrong with me. Can you help me out?”

“Shit. Some old world bullshit. Come on I got a training room booked for the day.” He said and turned and started walking with Vince following him.

Eddie looked him over. “Is your brother at least backing you up?”

Vince shook his head. “Something about the case fucked with him. He’s on the road. I’ve been trying to get in contact with him but no go.”

Eddie stopped and stared at him. “Are you sure he’s missing and not been taken by the assholes you up against?”

Vince froze. He hadn’t thought of that. He should have after meeting Slicer. “I don’t know. Shit. Something about this whole case is fucking with me to. I’m missing something.”

Eddie shook his head. “Trainning will help you think it through and relieve your stress.”

It was late in the morning when Vince finally got into work the next day. Andrew and Mini looked angry and then concerned at the sight of him.

Andrew frowned at him. “Where the fuck have you been?”

“Weapons trainning.” Vince said. “Slicer’s people sent any messages to the firm.”

Andrew’s face grimanced but he nodded stiffly. He turned waving a hand as he went to the meeting room. A small crowd was gathered around the open doors staring inside.

Andrew waved them away. He pointed inside. Vince saw a large bastard sword on the table. Vince walked in picking it up and sighed.

“Damn it.” Vince said softly.

Andrew shook his head. “You knew this was coming. To late for regrets.”

Vince handled the sword easily. “I wonder about that. I need to have a talk with Mr. Ross. Can you get in contact with him?”

Andrew frowned at him. “You have his number and your lead counsel. Why didn’t you call him up?”

Vince shook his head staring at the blade. “I’ve already tried that. He’s evading my calls and I can’t get lead on where the fuck he is right now. I need you to get your hunters on finding him.”

“Shit. You should have told me sooner.. What the fuck are you worried about?” Andrew asked.

“Beyond getting killed in a challenge match? There is to much shit we don’t know about this case. Illegal Orc practices. Pete is missing. I feel like shit and I can’t stop thinking about fucking Miss Ross. I think Ross might have some information to add. I got a question for you though. Is there any sort of enchantment that is given to the champion for the alliance prize?”

Andrew shook his head. “No seductions or enchantment spells. I made that clear when it was written up and made sure our people looked over the contract for any I didn’t see. Why the fuck are you asking?”

“I saw our client Miss Ross again and got un pleasant desire to fuck her on her parent’s lawn. It took to much out of me resisting the desire and I can tell you it wasn’t normal for me. We need to find Ross.” Vince said.

“Shit. I’m on it. Stay away from the Orc girl!” Andrew commanded.

Vince gave him a look that made Andrew step back. “Fucking shit.” He cursed and shook himself. “I’m going to my office and try and get in contact with Pete and work on the case.” He said and forced himself to turn and back back to his office.

Vince walked to his office with Mini close behind him. He noticed how bad he was looking by the pale expressions on his co-workers. He dropped down into his chair and tried to breath out the hard on he had that felt like it would kill him.

Vince felt Mini watching him. He didn’t look up at her. There was no way he was getting much done today until he got what ever the hell that was happening to him under control. He needed not to be around any female. “Mini. I need you to find Pete. I don’t know how you can or why this is happening to me but I need to know that he’s safe and just ignoring me and not…please just find him.” He said.

“I’m on it.” Mini said and closed the door behind her locking it.

Is the American system of employer and employee a form of economic enslavement?

Yes.

The sexist slaves are the millionaire basketball artists who run up and down a court straining their bodies to the limit and accumulating a host of injuries for the entertainment of poor folks. Who in turn spend what little they have for the sense that it matters to their very being who wins or loses a single game.

This is not hate. This the reality. Basketball in general is one of the highest paying slave employeement systems in America and I’m not excluding the other sports. All sports in general serve serve as a business of performance art in motion.

Old school performance art example:

Go with me down the rabbit hole of my American clown world experience. It all starts in the American (goverment) public school system.

We are not taught to be individuals who buy and trade and own our own businesses. We are taught by the structure of said system itself to be 20th century factory workers. I’m not saying anything new.

What is the difference between picture below

and the picture that follows.

There is still a chain tying person to a system of control that predetermined that you work FOR money to get Stuff. To pay for stuff to buy more stuff to work for more money to leverage credit to buy more shit to pay for more shit to work for more money…etc. It’s a cycle. A endless cycle or wheel of bullshit.

So what’s the solution?

Learn a skill > become export in skill while working a sexy enslavement gig > market yourself as export over time > invest in yourself > become a business > make money > make money > make money > etc.

Chapter 4

Vince pulled up his BMW up front into a parking space a few feet away from strip club. Vince frowned at the place shaking his head and gave Andrew a look.

“Mini. You sure you go the right address?” He asked her over his speaker phone.

“Yeah. Why? What’s wrong?”

“It’s a damn titty bar.” Andrew said in disgust. “Fuck. It’s not even the good kind.”

“A what?!” Mini said in fake surprise.

“It’s a strip club, Mini. Why are you fucking with me right now? Is this the right location?”

Mini gigled. “I couldn’t help myself. But, yes. Your in the right place. It’s the only half legitimate business the opposition has in his catalog that’s in his name. Good luck and stay sharp.” She said and hung up on him.

Vince and Andrew got of his car and walked into Orc strip club that was owned by slicer and his family. Vince had a headache as he sat down at a small table near the bar to loud club music near the stage where half naked Orc females and giant females danced on polls.

Andrew was smilling like an old fool smoking on his cigar and passed two one hundred bills to a giant blond in a pink thong and matching high heel sandles, who gave him a air kiss.

Vince waved a way a few Orc females that had started to approach him for a lap dance or tip. He waited and saw when Joc Slicer and his younger brother Knoc came over toward his table.

They were big shit houses with nose rings and jet black hair cut short and tight. They came to stand in front of him towering over him.

Vince smoovely rose to stand at height level to the tall Orcs. He smiled. “I’m the champion for Miss Ross and I’m here to discuss a few things with you.”

Joc shook his head. “Not much to discuss human. Ahlar and I have an agreement that she would agree to be my breeding slave. I’ve already tasted the goods and I approve. The only thing that stands between me and her is her father’s money and higher standing to call for a challenge to my claim but that can only help her so far. Are you ready to die now or later?”

“By Orc law Ahlar had no right to even hint at selling herself to you.” Andrew said cutting through the tension.

Joc frowned and glanced at Andrew. Andrew smiled at him.

“Her father owns her. You knew he wouldn’t approve of you. Your plan almost worked but Ahlar didn’t summit to your will over her as her master or protector. Our client is willing to compensate you for her leading you on up to ten grand in gold.” He said.

“Ahlar is mean. Your human magic words will not stand in my way and neither will you.” Joc said turning back to Vince and poking him hard with his finger.

Vince calmly pushed the finger aside. “We’ll meet each other at a more convenient time for off business hours.” He said.

Joc spat in his face. Vince reacted by chopping Joc in the throat and kicking Joc’s brother in the balls and shoved him away.

Andrew was up and swinging his bar stoll at a bouncer who charged at them. Vince produced a gun from Joc’s holster and aimmed it at him hauling to a chair.

Vince stared at Joc. “Are you ready to die because I would rather finish this on the agreed upon way. What’s your decision?”

“Challenge accepted, human.” Joc said.

“Get the car ready Andrew.” Vince said.

Andrew started to go but then cursed and yanked the blond off the stage through her over his shoulder and ran away.

Vince smiled. “Godsdamn. I’ll be sure to have a nice knife ready for you.” He said as he walked away.

A bouncer came at him. Vince took aim at Joc. “I’ll kill him right now. You’ll be minus one, contender, boss.” He said.

“Back off. I’ll saddle up with the hu-man later on.” Joc said.

Chapter 3

“Holy fucking shit.” Vince said as he puffed away on his cigar. “Who the fuck is this asshole.”

Ron sipped on his drink. “I’m going to kill him.” He said softly. “He’s mean. You hear me and I want what he took from her.”

Vince shook his head. “Hell no. I’m burning it and your not going to murder anybody. I’m the champion. I’ll talk to him and see if this thing can be negotiated.” He said.

Ron stared at him. “How did you know she was hiding something?”

Vince sat back. “She was talking to high and mighty and acting tough like she was in charge my bullshit meter went off. A innocent person would be shitting themselves at the kind of situation she’s in. You would have caught it but for the fact she’s your little girl so you like to believe she didn’t have a damn hand in this shit. She was playing with fire. She knows she fucked up but she to young and foolish to admit it and that’s not all.” He said.

Ron nodded. “She’s lying about something else. She won’t tell us what it is now. She’ll close up and act innocent now. Damn it. Are you rejecting my daughter.” He asked.

“You were expecting my brother to represent Ahlar. Did you or your lady meet him?”

“No. We just know of your brother’s successful track record in cases. Are you avoiding my question.” Ron asked.

Vince stared at him. “It’s not like my brother to run out on a case. He lives and breathes for challenges. I don’t trust your daughter. Her word is worthless to me and until I saddle her shit I don’t know if I’ll live to think of claiming her. I don’t know my enemy yet. I can’t focus on her and him.”

“Are you bullshiting me?” Ron asked.

Vince shook his head. “No. I’m not. Your lady asked me to keep this shit clean without it turning into a war. I’ve never used a hand gun short of a shot gun. The best I’m good at is hand to hand and knifes and blades. I’ve never killed anyone so-“

“It doesn’t have to come to that we agreed on a boxing match as the last resort if the negotiations fail. Why do you believe it would come to a war?” He asked.

“I’ve seen your daughter. If this asshole is determined to have her he’ll kill for her. I would for her…beauty and grace alone and she comes from the Golden Omegas sorority.” Vince said with a shrugged and was thankful that he caught himself replacing fat ass and tits for beauty and grace.

Ron lifted his middle finger. “Alright for now we’ll put aside the alliance agreement of payment until matters have concluded with Mr. Gallant Morning.” He said.

“Gallant Morning!? Sounds like a bullshit name for an Orc or any male now that I think of it. What’s his real name?”

“Joc Slicer. I only found that out when he tried claim my daughter on her graduation day. I should have killed his ass that day.” Ron said.

Vince looked at his rollax and thought about the other case loads he would have to put on hold. He leaned back in his chair. “Tell me about her graduation day. Was that the first time you met Slicer? Give me your impressions of this fucker.”

Ron nodded stiffly. “First time. But it won’t be the last. It was two weeks ago. The day my daughter graduated from university finally. She graduated with honors and made the dean’s list twice.

The tribe had all come to the event to celebrate. I hadn’t told her and wanted to make it a surprise though after what happened that day I’m glad I hadn’t told her for another reason entirely.. She had offers from three lawyer firms already and was deciding on which one to intern with before all this bullshit but then he showed up with brothers and gang with flowers and such and smoking a cigar with a shit eating grin on his fucking yellow face as he stared at my daughter like she was his personal slut in front of me. What the fuck did she see in that fucker to believe he was anything other then what he was.”

Vince leaned back in his chair. “What was Ahlar’s reaction to him showing up the way he did?”

Ron frowned at the question and something in Vince’s tone of voice. “I-I can’t remember. All I remember is watching him and then listening to him tell me in no uncertain terms that he was claiming my daughter now that I was present and presented me a case of ten gold bars for my trouble. Fucker told me he and Ahlar had an arrangement. I told that fucker to fuck off. Things got….uneasy for a moment but my tribe out numbered his. He issued a threat of war if his property wasn’t given to him.”

“What did Ahlar say to his claims at first?” Vince asked.

Ron looked at Vince. “She said she knew him and they had dated. She suggested we call in your firm to negotiate this out. She didn’t want a war with Slicer’s tribe and mean.”

Vince nodded. “Then there won’t be a war then if I can help it.”

“You do want Ahlar then!” Ron said.

Vince shrugged. “Yes. But that’s a bigger reason she needs to keep at home and away from me. I need to focus because we’re headed into a fight and need to research my opponent.”

Chapter 1

Vince was just getting through the written accounts of what happened about the Orc girl and the Orc that wanted her when Mini came into his office.

“The clients are here. Mr. Delta is greeting them at the conference room.” She said.

Vince got up and put on his suit jacket. He walked down the hall to the meeting room. He came up short for few seconds and frowned at the thick two ladies in silk dresses and the giant Black Orc standing with them.

Andrew was talking to them. Vince didn’t know which one was the younger or older but he catch sight of the taller female’s pin attached to her right breasts side of her dress. It was a golden O. Vince knew that pin and where she would have gotten it. He looked at the male who was watching him and he saw a double H on his suit pocket.

Vince frowned as confusion turned to mild rage. He kept himself in check though. He held out two fingers pushed together to the Orc.

The Orc blinked but returned the jester and held out his hand. Vince clasped his the other male’s forearm and stared at him.

“We ride together…” Vince began

The Orc nodded. “Your battle is my battle…”

“Your enemy is mean to destroy..” Vince said.

“…the riders ride together…” the Orc said.

“…forever. I am Rider Rafe. My given name is Vince of the house Delta.” Vince said in their furturnity language.

“I am Rider Raven. My given name is Ran Ross, it is pleasure to meet another brother.” The Orc said.

Vince eyed him but nodded and let go of his hand. “It’s nice to meet you Mr. Ross. I’m sure my grandfather has treated you well I will be representing you in your conflict with the enemy. Though I don’t see a need to bring to court once I have a chat with the enemy I’m sure I can bring things to a reasonable end.” He said.

His grandfather rolled his eyes at him but Ross eyeing him. “That is not how I want to saddle matters?”

Vince raised an eye brow. “Are you sure?” He asked.

“Yes? He comes from a large family and there are complications. It is better to handle this without starting a damn war the rest of the brothers would have to join in.” Ross said.

Vince scatched his chin. “We need to talk. Come inside. Andrew show the ladies around the place, Mr. Ross and I have to have a private discussion.” He said.

“Excuse me.” Miss Ross said stepping in his way. “This matter concerns me. I have a right to be in the conversations.” Ahlar said.

“Your an Omega. What year did you graduate? You sound and look very young.” Vince asked.

”I’m Twenty-two and I’m a lawyer in magical contracts.” She said.

Vince stared at her. “How old are you in human years?” He asked.

“She is eighteen and a virgin.” Ross said.

Ahlar blushed at her father’s blunt and short reply. “That has no baring on the case. I am an adult and have graduated. We need is a temporary alliance.” Ahlar said.

Vince stared at her. “I have a few matters to discuss with your father regarding double H matters.”

“Which can wait. I wish to discuss the case first. I am your client.” She said.

Vince rubbed his chin and nodded. “Please proceed inside. I have a few questions regarding how this situation started.” He said.

Ahlar nodded and walked inside back stiff. Vince closed his eyes to keep from staring at her ass and counted to ten. He opened his eyes to see the mother looking at him. He bowed to her. “Mrs. Ross.”

“Please call me. Daisy.” She said and the reached forward to trace a finger on the breast pocket of where he had to double H’s swine on his jacket pocket. She held her finger to the letters. “What year did you pledge to the horse men?”

“02. I’m a bit surprised to meet a pedge brother and a sister house.” He said with a question in his voice.

She looked at him. “No. We didn’t know either. Horsemen have several branches throughout the country and in Europe and we were expecting to be dealing with your elder brother.” She said.

“My brother had business to see to so the honor of helping you falls to me sister Daisy.” He said.

“If this can be dealt with legally in single match it would be best.” She said.

“If that is how you wish it to be then I abide by your wishes sister.” Vince said and took her hand bowing over it.

Daisy’s eyes seemed to dance. “Thank you horseman. It is a delight to see the horsemen of the west are as charming as the ones of Europe.” She said and proceeded inside.

Vince turned to Ron. “Damn you certainly chose wisely. Would you like a drink or cigar?”

Ron shook his head. “Later. I want to get this shit over with so we can talk in private.” He said walking inside.

Andrew caught Vince’s shoulder and moved in close to his right ear. “How the fuck do you know these people?” He whispered to him.

Vince stared at him. “I don’t. Ron is apart of my fraternity and his wife and daughter are apart of my sister house. Let’s go. I need to hear the story to this shit now.” He said shrugging off Andrew’s grip.

The Lords of DELTA: Vince

The LEGEND

Orgin tale of the house of Delta

1877, Newark

Vincent Deltaro arrived in the city of Newark with his three brothers dressed in suits they had won off rich nobles in a card game.

He was at the dock get off the boat from Great Highlands and happened upon a human wipping a little fairy girl as he tried drag her away. He spoke to her in elf tongue telling her she was his slave now.

Vincent walked over and stopped the little human by grabbing his hand. The human turned to him glaring and stopped short.

“Let the girl go. You can’t kidnap her in this country it’s against the law.”

“The girl is my servent girl. This is none of your business.”

Vincent looked at the girl. “Child. Where is your people?” He spoke to her in elf.

The girl looked at him in surprise. “This man drugged my parents with strange wine and stole me. I can prove it. Help me, my Lord.”

“Hey. What do we have here, Sir?” A human in uniform came up to them.

Vincent nodded to him. “Hello Sir. This gentleman has tried to kidnap this young lady from her parents.” He said basic human speech.

The uniform man stared at him and then his suit and frowned. “How do you come to know it?'”

“Oh. The young lady told me in her language. I’m sure if we follow her to where her parents are the truth will come to light fine Sir and justice done.” He said.

The uniform officer nodded. “Alright Sir. Let the girl lead us on then.”

“Wait just a damn minute. I haven’t had my say. I was just firing this girl and was about to be on my way.” Human man said tried to reach for something in his coat.

Vincent squeezed his wrist making him scream and bent him over. He looked at the officer. “Sir. If you would be so kind to check this gentleman for a weapon I would be thankful to you.”

The uniform moved fast and searched the man and brought out a stick and revolver.

Vincent stared in alarm at the stick. “That’s a wand. This gentleman is a witch.”

A crowd had gathered to watch the show all backed away at the mention of witch.

The uniform officer nearly dropped the wand but caught it and put it away getting out cuffs and started binding the witch hands behind his back.

The uniform nodded to Vincent. “Thank you kindle Sir. The Region King has a standing law that witches are forbidden on his lands. Would you mind knocking him out so I can take him in.”

Vincent punched the witch on the face knocking him out. The uniform officer nodded his thanks.

“I have to haul this asshole to my wagon. You mind assisting me in getting the girl back to her parents. I’ll need you help in case this fool wakes up though.”

Vincent bowed. “It would be my pleasure to assist you in justice and protection of the peace.”

“What is your profession Sir? Are you a copper such as myself.”

Vincent chuckled. “Of a kind Sir. My brothers and I worked to resolve issues between races by means of counsel or an axe to the head.” He said.

The copper’s eyes lite up. “Oh so your a mercenary. Well you won’t get much work here on that end. You have a fine tongue and quick mind. If your brothers and you are a like you could consider being a lawyer. We could always use a good lawyer that knows how to deal with magic folk and such.”

Vincent bowed to him. “Thank you kind Sir. You are most kind in offering your wisdom to me. I will follow it to the letter.”

The uniform offered his hand to him. “I’m Alexander Brooks.”

Vincent took his hand in a shake. “I am Vincent Deltaro Stonehenge.”

Alexander frowned and shook his head. “You should shorten your last name to Delta. So you can fit in and be sure to keep your mercenary past quiet around here. You don’t want to get you and your family off to a rough start.”

Vincent smiled. “I will never forget your kinds Mr. Brooks.”

If you could build your life would you need a vacation from it?

I worked hard to achieve steps to becoming a better writer. I didn’t start out with flavor or flow. I started with a goal and steps I took to achieving that goal were being a reader and writing habitual.

I fail a lot. But I don’t worry about failure being a stop gap to me achieving my goals. I look at failure as progress. You have to try. You have to make the attempt or you’ll get no where to achieving what you want to build.

I know when I’m not progressing because I’m not trying.

“Build a life. You don’t need a vacation from.” – Rob Hill Sr.

There are somethings in life you have to do. There are somethings that just have to get done when you don’t want to do them. But, is the sum total of life supposed to be this way?

Maybe.

Why would a dude. Do something he doesn’t want to do when he doesn’t want to do it? Well because there is a result that would follow afterward that is the result he wants.

Peace. Happiness. An end to bullshit situation. I’m thinking about this shit a lot lately because mainly I want to put myself in a situation eventually where I won’t have to think of a vacation.

I would be in a situation that was indicative of the kind of life I would enjoy with those same type of vacation vibes.

I’m still looking for that sweat spot of writing, work and the natural high of living.
