I still have other work to do but for now that part is done and will help me focus the book in the direction of fatherhood more. It wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. The part of about Beau’s hands….I had to leave that part vague because I plan later in the book to address it in another way.

It was just a prologue but it felt like a rounding around a character study of the man. It felt weird just writing that last part. So many emotions riding through Beau. So much anger still there and regrets but there’s a hope.
