I often times find myself wondering about the elements of a good story. Where does it begin?

From my own experience it has always started with a string or hint of an idea already revealed to me in a story. I pull on it a little and often times more string comes out of the ground. So I pull and keep pulling until I have an idea that strong enough to wrap around a world or strong enough to hold my attention.

Narratives matter and the style of how information is given on a given topic of world building.
