I made it into the room with a feeling of thrill and nervous excited energy. I had less time to get the job done and then I would have a major issue in getting out of the penthouse without getting killed by Glassgo or his men.
The painting was different when I got inside the office. It had changed to a dark grey image of a image that reminded me something. A map? A computer mainframe? I frowned. I scanned the image with my eye to commit it to my memory. I wondered about that as I hit a button on my wrist watch and did a quick scan of the painting. I found the latch holding it close and clicked it.
It opened outwardly to reveal a B1 encryption locking safe. I quickly got out my decker and jacketed into the lock. It started to hear the sounds of fighting outside the room and wondered about it but then I shrugged it off. It would only help me in my job the more distracted they were outside.
Soon enough however I heard a soft ding from my decker as it unlocked the safe and it opened up. I opened the safe scanning the inside of the safe to see stacks of gold ebs cards inside but brushed then aside to grab up the deta drive inside.
Now all I needed was to get out of here. I heard something behind me click. I looked behind me to see the door lock up. Okay. Time to get my back up plan going.
Okay that was out. I needed to go with my backup plan. I looked around the room and headed for the veranda of the office.
