I got into the front seat of my ship and the moment Rita was in the passenger seat beside me and buckled up I took the ship off automatic settings and putting it on manual override and took off down the road. I noticed someone following us immediately.

“Why are you driving so fast?!” R1TA 2.0 asked me in a concerned low voice.

I smiled tapping my finger on my dashboard screen. The footage of the cruiser was following closely behind us and starting to gain speed. “We have a sloppy troll trying to cause us trouble. Don’t worry we’ll get CEO James where she needs to be and back home to the dream realm. We have an agreement with her company and Battlestar inc. Importantly, I’ve never failed in a mission yet. Hang on!”

“Okay. Okay. That’s right you’ve never failed to complete a mission yet.” R1TA 2.0 said softly. I could hear the fear in her voice but she was sitting still and quietly waiting.

I saw out of my right peripheral vision Miss James reaching out her hand to touch R1TA 2.0’s shoulder. R1TA 2.0 calmed down and I heard her breathing relax. I turned sharply to the right and then left going down and alley way. A saw dressed like a female Authority officer step out to stand facing alley and blocking the way. I activated my blasters on the side.

“What are you going to-“

I launched the blaster fire down the alleyway toward the female she evaded the blasts as she started running forward for the ship. She withdrew a blaster a lightning sword from her back holster. “Shit. Hyper speed assassin class and she’s lightning kissed. No use now.” I said and pressed the gass pedal down.

“What the fuck!?”

“Easy kiddo. I got to run her down before she slices the ship in half with that demon sword of hers’. Everybody hang on.” I said dipping rolling down my window. “Rita. I need you to hand me my blaster honey. I can’t reach it under my arm. In this position.”

“Rita. Disregard that order.” Miss James said. “Stay seated and calm down. My assistant Mr. C.M. will take care of the assassin.”

I thought to say something but one look at R1TA 2.0’s shaky form I knew she wasn’t ready for this shit or if she ever would be. “Alright.” I spared the tall bulky bodyguard one glance. “Your up Slick.”

The man open the door and quickly swung out of the ship to the back and I saw fire and lightning blasting from the roof at the assassin. The element attack quickly set the assassin GEH on fire burning her to ashes in a manner of seconds. I stared in amazement. “Holy shit. Who is this fucker!?”

“The best legend in Newark City I could rent from Gino Fish.”
