Blue Technomancer CHAPTER 22

Beau heard the buzzing of his alarm clock go off on the floor beside. He reached for his bottle and brought it to his lips only to find it was empty. He sat on his futon bed and threw the empty bottle of Jack Danel’s against the wall smashing it against the white wall of his tiny closet apartment. His toy robots started waking up now he had to get up and use the bathroom.

He crawled to the bathroom, relieved himself and then washed up. When he was done he crawled back inside his bedroom and started getting dressed. He was dressed when he heard a knock on his door before it was opened with a keycard.

Two twin young men skin Supers came into his apartment. They glared at him. “Techno. Man. You drunk again?” Alex Wade asked him.

“Techno bro. This is to much.” Dexter Wade said.

Beau snorted shaking his head. “I had a bad night. I’m not drunk. I have hang over from last night. I’m ready to go. Just get my stuff ready. I got to make to make my rent and fill you two gentlemen’s pockets.” He said before he pulled himself up into his wheel chair. He smiled and reached down to carelessly roll up his futon over and then started wheeling himself to the door.

The two brothers said nothing but hurried to get a table and toys ready. Beau sighed wheeling himself to the elevator as his two friends and helpers got his table and box of merchandise. They took the stairs while he waited for the elevator to arrive.

It took a bit of time but soon enough the elevator arrived and the automatic doors opened up. A man in a dark suit and sunglasses was waiting for him. Beau wheeled himself inside nodding to the man. He spun around. “Could you hit the 1st floor.” He asked.

The man nodded silently hitting it and the doors closed. They were both silent as they went down stairs. The man in sunglasses turned to Beau. “Mr. Lucas. I take it.” He said.

“I’m not interested.” Beau said.

“I work with a particular organization that is interested in hiring you for your brilliant mind. A hundred grand a year plus benefits and an studio apartment.” He said.

Beau smiled. “Do you work for BlackWater?” He asked.

The man was silent. “Hmm. Yes. That is remarkably excellent guess on your part.” He said.

Beau shook his head. “I’ve had a lot of offers sense I’ve been let off from the government. You were the last one. I was expecting to come and a hundred thousandth a year sounds like minimum wage with today’s with the weight of inflations going. All I’m interested in is dying quietly and being left the fuck alone.” He said.

“If it’s the government having a problem with you working with us. I can assure you-” He began but stopped when Beau looked at him.

“I’ve seen you watching me for a bit of time. I also seen the fed your working with tailing me when I was trying to talk a good time girl into giving me a discount on head rub. I’m not interested in working for the government directly or indirectly anymore. No games. I just want to die quietly and be left the fuck alone. Sorry brother. I’m only interested in living quietly as much as I can. I don’t have that long on me and my days are pretty much drinking and trying not to think of anything to make to end myself. So with all due respect fuck off.” He said.

The elevator door opened and the man smiled taking off his sunglasses revealing his glowing mirrored eyes. “Good evening to you brother.” He said and walked away out of the elevtor.

Beau sighed and wheeled himself out toward the front of the apartment building on to the side walk where his two young friends had set up his booth and he wheeled himself over as his customers started coming up to his desk.

He smiled as a young girl with horn on her head came up with dollars in her hand smiling at him. He grinned at the girl. “How’s it going baby girl. I got your doll for you right here for you.” He said reaching over to a box with package on it and handed to her the box. The girl handed the money over to him and took the box with an excited giggle.

She ran over to her parents who stood off to the side with their hoodie’s up and face masks over the lower half of their faces. They nodded to him in thanks. He nodded and put the money in the box he kept the money.

Beau looked up to the clear blue skies and sun shinning down on him. He grinned.

“These are amazing. Did you make them yourself.” A charming feminine voice called to him.

Beau was half drunk but his mind focused on the genuine admiration at his skill in making the pet robots on the table. He had been sober for two months until he got the news they had put Rider in prison for two years but not before collaring his powers.

Rider was collared and put in to the general population. If he survived Beau knew his old friend wouldn’t know how to cope with the new world again once he got out.

E had called him to promise he would be watched but her words did little to ease his mind. It had taken E five damn years to find a means of halting Rider’s biological time bomb from going off.

“Excuse me. Sir.”

Beau shook himself out of thoughts of his friend and looked up at a young blond woman dressed in an leather jacket and jeans. She stared at him with sensual sky blue eyes that had a mystical glow about them. She had average looking face and easy going smile that hinted at ready sense of humor and brown chestnut hair that reminded him of his mother. She stared down at Beau with eyes that were mystical blue mirrors of concern as she studied his face.

“I sure did Darlin. I’m a straight up wonder with making things. It’s one talent I still have going for me that is of some use.” He said.

The Beauty held his gaze. “Your hero Technomancer.” She said.

It wasn’t a question it was more like a statement of fact like she already knew him and a whole lot more.

“So…are you a back sight?” He asked.

The Beauty shook her head. “No. I have employee at my company that deals in temporal patterns but I have a friend that pointed me toward you. You are a fine engineer. I could use you on my team.”

“I don’t work for the government…anymore. I mean my own business. I don’t want no trouble.” He said kindly to her.

“Pardon me. I forgot myself. I’m Jassica Remo.” She said and gave him a card.

Beau looked at the name of the company and her position. “Senior VP of Homeworld industry. Homeworld. Interesting name. What do you do at your company?” He said and then he noticed the logo on her earth world globe on her jacket.

Jessica smiled. “We consult for private parties and act as private security for clients in need of protection or otherwise.” She said.

Beau had heard of companies like her’s when he was in the service and had fought along side some of the agents of such companies. Mercenaries. Professional Mercenaries. Hired guns. Hell who was he to judge. He had done his time under contract with the government before they sent him to prison and after.

He just had one question. “Did someone send you to me?”

Jessica smiled. “Like a said a friend pointed me in your direction. We’re based in the city and Baltimore but have operations in Hawaii as well. There is room in board a decent paycheck and you’ll work with brillant ladies and gentlemen.”

“Did Rider send you or E. You have to tell me. I most know.” Beau said surprising himself by his old charm creeping back into his voice.

Jessica giggled. “You’ll have to come with me to find out. Though. I have a guess it will be surprising for you what your friend has accomplished over such a short time period.”

It had been five years sense he saw or heard from his old crew. Rider was busy doing his super hero thing and getting cartoon shows made after him and his early beginnings.

Angel.

Damn. He hoped it wasn’t her. All the same he didn’t know and he had to find out. Beau nodded. “Alright you talked me into it. I’ll go with you.”

“That’s excellent.” Jessica said with a smile. “When would be a good time for you to visit the-“

“Today would be good enough for me. I’ll travel with you. I got a bit a cash to spend on a ticket and I got nothing holding me here. I’m ready when you are.” Beau said quickly.

Blue Technomancer CHAPTER 19

Beau and Jay exited the tunnels near the spot they had come in. He looked back once while Jay walked ahead to where Angel, E and Rider were waiting for them.

The two mutants tall black cloaked that had led him the way bowed to him. Beau nodded to them.

“Stay out of trouble guys.” He said and turned to walk toward his friends. E was studying him while Rider glared at him.

“What the fuck did you do?” Rider asked.

Beau shrugged. “Did you find the targets?”

True snorted. “We found shit and dick all. Their hide outs were blown the fuck up. It will take us months to dig em out. How the fuck did you do it?”

Again Beau shrugged. “I did what needed to be done. They’re not around so-“

“What the fuck about Vlad’s kids?” Rider demanded. “We weren’t supposed to touch them.”

Beau shook his head. “I didn’t kill anybody. Least of all Vlad’s kids. Your assuming a lot buddy. E your quiet what’s on your mind?”

E stepped forward. “What have you done? Your not a smart man. What’s the game, hero?”

Beau shook his head. “I’m not a hero and there is no plan. I did what needed to be done. Anything else that happens next is up in the air. Follow my lead from on.” He said and turned to Rider.

Rider was frowning at him. “Beau. What’s going on? Did you kill those kids?”

“You know the answer to that question if you know me. If they ask you who did it. Tell them it was me and you tried to stop me but I tricked you and did it on my own. Do you understand?” He said.

Rider shook his head. “I don’t. Why do you want me to lie. I won’t lie. Your a good man. You would never do that. Why are you doing this?” He said.

“Your so stupid.” E said spat out at Rider.

Rider turned and glared at her. “What?!” He said.

“He’s trying to protect you. To keep you safe. All you have to do is-” E said.

“I won’t lie! I know what will happen if I do it. They’ll lock him up or worse. Beau isn’t a murder and I won’t say otherwise for reason and not to protect my own ass.” Rider said.

E looked at Beau. She froze. “They’re coming for you tomorrow aren’t they?” She said.

Beau shook his head. “US. They’re coming for us tomorrow. I thought I might as well give em a reason. After tomorrow night. I don’t know what will happen.”

Rider shook his head. “No. No. That’s not right.”

“It is what it is. They’ll offer you a job. You need to take it and work it until they let me go. Otherwise they’ll kill me.” Beau said.

“Damn you. It’s not going down like this. It’s not supposed to.” Rider said almost to himself.

“So you’ll do it then.” Beau said. “Your a hero. My hero at least. You got to keep us alive. So you have to work with them.” He said.

“Damn it. It wasn’t supposed to go down like this.” Rider said almost in tears.

Angel smiled and looked at Beau snd her smile froze in place. “Beau. You-“

“Your father got a job in Baltimore after the blockade comes down you’ll be moving there.” Beau said. “It’s going to be new start. Remember your promise.” He said.

Angel could only stared at him but she nodded her head slowly. “Yes. I remember my promise.” She said.

Beau watched from the sidelines while Rider and Artemus were offered job offers by the President and generals. “I’m couple days late. But I think it’s going to go down in a few hours.” Beau said.

“What the hell are you going to do Beau?” True Steel asked.

Beau shook his head. “Don’t worry about me True. I’m good.” He said.

“Is this going to be okay? Rider a mean joining them. I don’t trust it. I don’t like it even more with the way they just snubbed you off and ignored you and what you did for them.” True Steel asked him.

Beau glanced at E. She glared at Rider’s profile. “We’re not giving him to them. He’s just on loan. Eventually they cut him loose.” He said.

E finally looked at Beau. “On loan until what? He gets bored of being a hero?” He said.

Beau stared at her. “Until we find a damn a cure for him or before he becomes an issue for them. Until then we’ve got work to do. True.” He said.

“What do you need me to do?” True asked.

“Watch out for him for me. I won’t be around for some time.” Beau said and looked around toward the people getting ready to head out of the city and he nodded to Jay and Freya Newton.

He walked quickly over toward them. Angel sat in the backseat of a van not looking at Beau. He held out his hand to Jay. “I’m going to miss you Brother and your family. Thank you for all you did. I won’t forget it.” He said.

Jay took his hand in a firm shake. “Thank you Mr. Techno. We’re grateful to you for all you’ve done to keep us alive. We won’t ever forget you. Angel. Well she’s still a bit sore about us moving to Baltimore but-“

“Call me Beau. She’ll understand as she gets older.” Beau said. “You got to look out for your best interests and with most of the Blues migrating there you’ll have support and people that look like you watching your back.”

Jay seemed to relax for some reason and let go of his hand. “I couldn’t have said it more. Do you intend on joining the Supers as we move there?” He asked.

Beau shook his head. “No. I got business to finish up here and then I’m retiring from the public life. I’ll leave the heroic work to Rider. He has the face and temperament for it.” He said.

The window to the car opened. Angel looked at him. “Come with us.” She said.

Beau shook his head. “No. It’s time I went a little quiet for a bit and save you some nightmares. I want you to think about going to school and getting a degree in something useful. I’ll be alright.” He said.

Angel shook her head. “No you won’t. Mr. Rider is gone. Doctor E is gone to. Once I’m gone you’ll lose it.” She said.

Beau chuckled. “Maybe. But it’s time we parted for some time. We can’t all be together anymore. I’ll see you.” He said turning away and walking back to E’s office.

“Beau. Beau. Don’t go. It’s-” She said.

“Don’t worry so much.” Beau said and waved her off. He entered the office. It was filled with two squads and E sat at the back drinking a glass of wine.

Beau walked over calmly grabbed his wheelchair and sat down. His legs fell away turning to metal pieces on the floor. He sighed feeling relief after days of pain from walking.

“Fucking shit. That’s better.” He said.

E poured him a glass of wine and tried to hand it to him but his hand shook. She held it and put it to his lips giving him a sip and he nodded his thanks as she took it away.

Beau turned to the major Benjamin. “Major. What’s the fuss about?” He said in a tired voice.

The Major frowned. “If you try to make a weapon we will have to-“

Beau nodded. “I know. I know. No chance of that for a week if ever again. I’m out of energy but it will to keep the pain back. But, please get to the reason your here.”

Major Benjamin grimaced Beau’s arm fell limp at his side. “What’s happening to you? You look like you need a doctor son. Your falling apart.” He said with concern in his voice but he still had his hand on his pistol as he stared at him and E.

Beau shook his head. “I’m not falling apart. This is my normal state. Nothing for you to worry about. My arm is healing slowly.” He said.

“Your being overally dramatic.” E said and then blinked and grimaced. “Damn it.”

The squad frowned drawing their guns. Beau shook his head. “She’s just lost her vision for a bit. Major Benjamin. Please get to the point.” He said.

“We’re here to tie up loss ends. You need to come with us.” Major Benjamin said.

“Alright. We’ll talk about it and answer whatever questions you got to give us. We’re ready to leave afterward to go and do whatever your demand for us to do.” Beau said.

“I’m not going-” E said and then started coughing.

“Be quiet.” Beau told her. “You can’t even see a damn thing in front of your face. They got the guns and we can’t do anything about it and you need help. You can’t go on like this.” Beau said.

“Damn it.” E cursed as her gaze was unfocused and she glared at nothing.

Beau turned to the Major. “We’re ready to turn ourselves in to answer for whatever crimes you said we committed and face the punishments. Just please get us the hell out of here.” He said.

Dago’s Run Episode 0

It was a small crowd of personal relations come to the Potter ranch in memory of the beloved friend, son and father. Emily Potter sat with her mother Mara Potter outside as they gathered together to burn a candle in a special bondfire for James. A seat was set beside her that was empty. It was for her brother but he did not bother to show up because he was busy working in the library working.

James’ staff and peacemaker were set in front of the fire as Neville Longbottom set the flame. The items had arrived suddenly on their ranch two days ago. The last hope they had of seeing James again was lost.

Mara Potter didn’t cry or look sad. She sat quietly angry. Emily was with her to help through the situation and do anything to dangerous.

Ava Potter along with Angus were missing as well for their own reasons. Unknown to anyone but maybe for Neville.

Neville was dressed like everyone their on black robes. He cleared his throat. “James Potter. He was noble friend and loyal companion. He will be missed and his memory never forgotten.” He said and went silent.

It was hard for him along with everyone. Mara nodded. “That’s good. Everyone can go now.” She said before disappearing.

Emily got up. Neville nodded to her. “Go. I’ll handle it.” He said.

Emily went into a apparition and was in the library in Hawks Landing. Mara was standing next to Silver who was standing with his hand to her writing on the board. Emily sighed and walked over.

“What are you working on?” She asked.

Silver turned looking at her. “One of Dad’s problems he was trying to figure out.” He said.

“Magical signature.” She said in surprise.

Silver nodded. “I had a brake through this morning when I woke. I was able to see and feel the magical signature on Dad’s staff. If I can-” He said but stopped when Mara yelled.

He stared at her. Mara glared back at him. “You are not going to use that to hunt down your father’s killers.” She said.

“Dad isn’t dead and dad told us him going missing like this could happen. If and when it did. He told us not to come hunting for him. Magical signature has more usefulness beyond hunting criminals.” He said.

Emily knew he was lying and so did Mara. She stared at James.

“Your grandparents have a much better chance to get your father’s killers.Your father did not want either you or your sister to hunt down anyone that could get to him. Promise me you will not hunt after your father’s killers or I will be locked out of thr library and any resources here.” She said.

Silver stared at her. “You Don’t have the power to do that.”

“I do. I’m still stronger then you and I will have your father’s friends keep you our if you don’t promise me here and now then I will sure you how powerful I am. Sware it to me now.” Mara said speaking a spell as she stared at him.

Emily froze and knew their mother had steppes over the line. Silver stared at her. “I promise you that I will have no personal involvement or will pursue hunting down the people that took my father.” He said.

The spell was cast. Emily looked as Silver rolled up his sleeve a mark was on his skin. He looked up at Mara. She stared at him.

Silver studied her. “The pack is done. If I break it I’m assuming I will lose my ability to work in the library.” He said.

Mara nodded looking pale. “Yes and your magical ability. Keep your word and I won’t ask anything more of you.” She said.

Silver nodded studying her. “That is correct mother. You will have no say or opinion about my life or my choices from now on.” He said.

Mara nodded. “I agree. Will you come to dinner now?” She said.

Silver stared at her. “From now on I think it would best that you don’t come here when I am working. This is my place of work. I will be moving into the tower of the magi today. If your done please leave so I can finish the project my father left undone.” He said.

Mara sighed. “I can stay here and asist you like I did your father.” She said.

Silver shook his head. “You are upset about what happened to my dad. If you stay here you’ll only upset yourself and we would get into another argument. This is my place of work. I have a job to do and I would appreciate it if you respected that. When you want to work again please give me notice of the times you would like to work and I’ll change my schedule so we don’t but heads.” He said in cold emotionless voice.

Mara closed her eyes and took several breathes in and out before she opened her eyes. “Will you come to dinner? We won’t discuss anything regarding your work or life. I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings but this is for your own good.” She said.

Silver stared at her calmly. “I will be down to pack up my stuff and we can have dinner. This is not about feelings. You did what you did. I accept it. I made you a promise and I will keep my word. I am an adult. However, I will not tolerate your disrespect in my work place. This is my world. In respect for my father. I am asking you to leave. I have work to do. The work that my father expected me to do whether he’s dead or alive. It’s the work that will help people and make the world better. You are interrupting my work for the sake of your selfish feelings.”

Mara was pale but she nodded her head with tears in her eyes and blinked them away. “Your right. Your right. I won’t come up here again.” She said and disappeared.

Emily was left with her brother. He looked at her. She held up her hands. “I’m not here to give you any shit.” She said.

He stared her. “I’m trying to finish Dad’s last project. I didn’t come to that funeral because we don’t have a body to bury and thinking about him being possibly dead is driving me crazy. I don’t want to talk about my feelings. I want to work.”

I let my hands fall down. “Show me what you’re working on. What’s the idea you had for using it besides finding dad.” She said trying to lift the mood lighter the last line but his closed off expression showed she had said the wrong thing.

“I promised mother I wouldn’t do that and I have to keep that promise or I’ll lose my magic and working in the one place that reminds me of dad the most.” He said showing her the cursed promise mark.

Emily stared at him. Silver stared at her. “You need to leave.” He said in a tired voice.

Emily flinched back. “I can help you. I worked with dad on the project I can help you.” She said.

Silver shook his head. “No you can’t. You won’t be able to focus. I have to finish this project. I got a lot of work I’ve been lagging behind on but once I’m done with this I can focus on my other work but I can’t do it with you here. I need to focus. You’ll only distract me. Please leave.” He said softly and turned back to his white board picking up his wand and started writing.

Emily stared at his stiff back and saw he was serious. “We’ll talk later.” She said left him alone.

James sighed and kept working. “I know your there. Do you think I’m crazy.” I asked.

A being in form of a beautiful lady appeared behind him and approuched him from behind. She hugged his neck.

“I think you are doing with his Majesty’s departure from our home.” She said.

“That’s not answering my question Lady H.” He said. “I still believe he’s alive. I don’t have any proof of it but I still believe. He’s survived so much and so many battles he has to be alive.”

“So you do have doubts. I know. Your mother was right in one regard. His Majesty didn’t want you to have a warrior’s life. He wanted you to have a happy life and enjoy making things that are helpful. He did warn us that that our enemies could come for him at time.” She said.

“I know. I just. I just want to know if he’s dead or not. But, I probably will never know now. So all I have now is to finish the last project Dad couldn’t finish. He was so happy I graduated and wanted to work with him on it. We were going to work together. That was my dream.” He said.

“He’s still here. This is his favorite place in the world.” Lady H said. “Focus on your work and leave the question of his Majesty to your grandfather to find out.”

James nodded as Lady H disappeared. “That’s what I’ll do. I’ll finish the work.” He said.

James Potter and the Court of Owls Chapter 8

James and Angus sat with their great great aunt in-law Hermione Granger Wesley in the back the store at long reading and study desk to sat down for chat while Luna went to go make some tea for them in the back of storeroom.

James was jittery the longer Luna stayed in the back to make tea. Angus cleared his throat and James looked toward him to both Angus and Hermione were staring at him with amused smiles.

“What?”

Angus shook his head at him. “I don’t think your going to make it as a political figure son. I can read every thought your making by looking at your face.”
James started and stared wide eyed at his father. “Dad. Are you a master of Legilimens as well as the wusxia arts?”

Angus snorted. “I’m not a master of Legiliments though I do know a bit it and I’m inclined toward Occlumency. No I’m just noting your body lanague and how you keep looking toward the back. You look like your wondering what’s taking Luna so long with the tea and I did notice how you seem to have known Luna previously.”

James stared wide eyed at his father. “I thought you said you weren’t performing Legilimens on me. How could you know all that without using magic?”

Angus only smiled. “There’s more then one way to control someone or understand how a person is thinking without magic son. It’s just a bit of guessing and knowing how people think depending on their age gender.”

“Hmm. Interesting. So you’ve studied psychology and mentalism.” Hermione said turning to Angus.

Angus shrugged. “I have studied psychology but mentalism isn’t real it’s just using a form of mental tricks and psychological word suggestions.”

Hermione grinned at him. “Your a lot more adaptable and book smart then Harry was. He would be proud of the magi you have become.”

James stared wide mouthed while Angus shook his head. “I don’t know about that Aunty Hermione.”

“When did you become a master of The Wuxia. I thought you only studied under them for only two years before you came back. Their books and spells engineering are so lovely to look at and read. When are you going to take James to see them? It must be soon. You most bring me back another one of their books for copying. I so do love-”

Angus put a finger to her lips gentle and smiled at her. “Give me a turn in the conversation though I love your mind works. I still want to answer your first two questions.” He said gentle.

Hermione blushed and leaned back away from his finger. Angus stared at her. “As I told you before. I’m still twenty years away from becoming an expert let alone a master. I plan to take James over to visit my master, six months from now. I don’t know if I can bring you another book to study though. What have you done so far with what I brought over to you the last time I returned from the Wuxia?”

Hermione pursed her lips. “I’ve made a little progress in understanding it. My sons, grandsons are farther along then me and my youngest great great son is already thinking about making a trip over the wuxia audition for a chance to train in the hidden temple. Why did you come to see me?”

Angus opened his mouth only stop as someone knocked on the front door loudly. They saw Luna come suddenly into the room with a tray of a tea kettle and five cups on it. He smiled started pouring a cup of tea for them as they waited for Luna to let in whoever it was that had come.

“I came to see you for one and I wanted to pick your brain on all the current gossip going on in the world you know.” Angus said in conversational mode.

“I see. Hmm.” Hermione said quietly.

James was frowning and folded his arms as Luna opened the door and in walked in a young lady with straight platinum blond hair that fell to her hips. She was dressed in black dress with a pink belt around her thin waistline and she had long expensive leather pink knee high boots on. She looked. She was staring between James and Angus kept pursing her lips and had her hands cupped together.

Angus waved to her. “Hello, aren’t you a pretty young lady. Would you to join us for some tea?” He asked.

“Yes. Yes. I very much would thank you.” She said lightly.

She walked over with quickly and stood close beside James who was frowning folding his arms across his chest. Angus was smiling though. “So how you to know each other?”

James nodded stiffly. “Yes. We met at HogWarts and became friends second year. Mara this is my father Angus Potter the patriarch of the house of Potter. Dad this is my school friend Mara Scamander. She’s Luna’s grand daughter. Mara has been head girl in house Gryffindor for six years. She’s a specialist in dueling and historian in magical history. Mara helped me out a lot in my studies.” He said.

Angus nodded his head. “So did you two have a falling out?”

“No.” They both said.

Angus nodded. “So. Do you trust Mara?”

“Yes. I do. She won’t tell anything that is going on here. She’s just like younger version of Luna.” James said still frowning and looking uneasy.

Angus nodded. “That’s all I needed to hear. Aunty Hermiona. What do you know about a man named The Count of New Jersey.” He asked and then poured her a cup of tea.

Hermiona readdressed her large glasses before taking the cup and sipping before speaking. “Hmm. Well. He’s a real count for one. That’s just what he changed his name to. Wait a bit.” She paused before taking out her wand and the moved the tea tray and cups aside with wave of her wand.

“Informational-Expand-Dio.” She spoke with a wave of her hand a large leather bound book appeared on the desk.

Hermiona waved her hand again and the book opened and leafed through to a page of titled Count Jersey. A picture of the Count appeared along with description of early life and history.

James frowned as he saw the information change on the page slightly adding or editing information to something else. “Why is it changing like that?”
“It’s updating dear. Information changes you know as time goes by and new changes or marriages happen. So D.A has to keep records current. Let’s see here.”

Hermiona looked down on the page flicking her finger over it upward more information came and picture disappeared.
“Hmm. Let’s see. Alright what do you need to know Angus? I have everything you would need to know about this gentleman’s hobbies to reasons his last two marriages failed. It wasn’t because of lack of gold.”

Angus grinned at her. “I just need a report on his art and treasure collection at the beginning of the year and a list of his enemies.”

Hermiona placed her finger and then began to highlight a paragraph before tapping the highlighted section and then with a wave of her two pages appeared in Angus’ hand. He was looking them over as Hermiona glared at the book as she flicked through information and then stopped.

“So Ava has attached herself to the Count recently. Interesting.” She said but her voice sounded more annoyed.

Angus nodded started to get up after taking a drink of tea. “Come on son. We have to get going. We’re on the clock. Say goodbye to your friend.”
James nodded and turned to Mara who gave him several kisses on his lips before hugging his neck tightly. “I’m going to marry you. We’re going to married don’t forget that. Your all mean.” She said in a dreamy singing tone.

Angus frowned and tapped her shoulder. Mara looked at him. He whispered something and waved a hand in front of her face.

“Dad. She’s just very affection loving toward me. It’s fine.” James said calmly.

Mara tightened her arm around his neck. “What’s wrong?”

Angus smiled. “Nothing. When I get a chance. I would love to have a game chess with your father when I get a chance. Tell him I will send him an Owl.”

Mara grinned and nodded. “Thank you so ever much.”

James sighed and came to his feet with Mara still holding his neck. He carefully unwound her arms from his neck. He nodded to her. “I will see you in six months. I am training under my father right now and I have to start my new job with my mother’s company. So please stay calm and concentrate on your studies and work.”

Mara stared at him. “I can do my work anywhere. That’s why I picked my field of study. Can you not give me promise. Something.”
James looked at his father but Angus was digging in his bag and then brought out a red cloak. He stared at it as Angus held it out to him.

“James. It’s your choice. If she makes you happy then she makes you happy. You can figure out the rest before the wedding.”

“What about mother?”

Angus shook his head. “Your a man now. Your choice. I made mean younger then you and never have I regretted it once.”

James sighed but reached out and took the cloak. Mara frowned in confusion until he offered it to her. “This is my family’s treasure and legacy. It’s all I have to give you as a promise. If you take then the first you’ll have to give it to will be our son.”

Mara burst into tears and hugged his neck even more tightly dragging him down to the floor.

James Potter and The Court of Owls Chapter 6

The Count of New Jersey

Angus frowned suddenly at something and pulled up his sleeve to show to show a tattoo of an owl in flight glowing gold. He frowned at it. “I got another job. That’s a bit strange. My boss usually gives me a bit of rest between jobs.” He said in odd voice.

“Why is that?” James started to ask but then the sound of Owl made them turn toward the open doors to see large Owl fly in with a note attach to it’s leg.

The Owl flew and landed on a pouch stand next to Angus’ work desk. The Owl hooted at them. James pet the owl gentle. “Bill. What you bring us boy? A letter from Mom?”

Angus took the letter from the Owl’s leg and unwrapped it and read it silently. A grim frown was on his face. James frowned in confusion. “Is it bad news or work?”

“A bit of both. I got a letter from a man in New Jersey that wants to see me about job that needs doing. He’s offering to pay me a large amount of coin for it. Hmm. Interesting.”

James frowned. “Is it another hunting mission?”

Angus shook his head though he was still examining the letter very closely. “No. He wants me to recover a stolen magical item for him and terminate the one that stole it.” He said calmly.

“So your an assassin as well?” James asked carefully.

Angus frowned shaking his head. “No. I am weapons smith and Owl for the President. The later is my business the former is my duty and no one other then the court of Owls, the President and now you is supposed to know about my rank. Would you like to come with me, James?”

“Of course. So this is a mission for the President then?” James said.

Angus again frowned. “We shall see.” He said.

“Dad. That Tattoo. Is that how the President communicates to the Owls?”

Angus looked up putting away the letter and nodded. He picked up his traveling pack and slung it around his shoulder. “Yes. Some times it is a warning and some times it is a direction for an Owl to take flight for the hunt. How are you with apparition?”

James stared at him. “I got top marks in the subject tested well.”

Angus stared at him.

James sighed. “I’m okay. I’m not confident in it and I’m not comfortable going any longer distance then a kilometers.”

Angus smiled holding out his arm. “Don’t worry about it. We’ll work on your skill over time. Take my arm and hold on tight.”

James grimaced and put his wand away in his pocket before he took a firm hold on his father’s arm with both hands. He took a breath and then closed his eyes. “I’m ready.”

James felt the world disappear for a second. He gripped his father’s arm tightly as he fought to keep a hold on him. His body felt liked it was being twisted and then pressed back into himself. He fought to breath and calm himself down. He screamed for what felt like hours and then they where somewhere else. He caught a hold of himself stopping himself from screaming out but tears flowed from his eyes as he shook physically.

Angus wrapped an arm around James and rubbed. He didn’t say anything but gave him a moment. James took a breath to steady himself and then he nodded.

“Alright. I’m good. I’m alright. I’m alright.” James said and he finally. He forced his eyes open and saw they were now in a city in the north east of America standing on a roof top restaurant looking over the city.

“Where are we?” James asked his father.

Angus let go James and waved a hand. “We’re in New Jersey. We’re here to meet a client.”

“The Potters have arrived. Welcome to New Jersey.” A male voice said behind them in heavily London accent.

James frowned at the accent. It sounded as fake and phony as his own accent had been. He turned at the same time his father did and they faced a tall man dressed in an all blue suit, shirt, tie and shoes. The only thing not blue was his midnight dark hair. James notice how quiet it had gotten. It was an unusual stillness to the atmosphere around them and then it was gone just as quickly as it appeared when the other man laughed. “Welcome. Welcome. Descendants of the slayer of the dark Lord. I am Count Nickolas Damon Ross.” He said bowed.

Angus returned the bow respectfully. “Count Ross. You requested my services. I am here to handle your case matter. It is an honor to serve you quietly.” He said and paused to nod toward James. “This is my son James Potter the Heir to the house of Potter and defender of the old true ways, The last Hallow of the past.” Angus voice echoed with power and might.

James stared at him as he felt. It was the first he had heard his name and the titles that were associated with his name and titles. Angus motioned with his hand toward James.

“Son. Bow to the Count of New Jersey.” He commanded in tone and voice authority of a high Lord.

James straightened up and bowed to his father and then The Count in respect. “I am pleased to meet you Count of New Jersey.”

The Count nodded to them. He waved a hand toward them. “Please come inside and have supper and we can discuss plans with my fiancee and business partner.”

Angus nodded his head started forward James followed behind his father silently not sure what was going on but he remained silent letting Angus lead the way and be in control.

The Count fell slightly in the lead of the Potters. “You’re representation proceeds you Mr. Potter. Thank you for your quick response in getting here.” He said and led them inside to indoor empty restaurant but for a lady sitting at the bar by her herself in a black dress. Her back was to them but James eyes widened in surprise but Angus touched his arm lightly.

James fixed his face into a calm mask immediately. He then felt the Count’s eyes were on his face now. He waited until his mother turned and he stared at her. Ava smiled at him coming to her feet.

“Harry. It didn’t think Angus would bring you. It’s been a few months.” She said and came over to hug him tightly before she came out his arms and turned to Angus and bowed to him. “Angus it’s been some time. You look well.”

Angus smiled. “It’s nice to see. It’s been a while. I hear your getting married again. I’m happy for you.” He said with genuine worth friendly affection in his voice.

James’ heart started racing as he caught the Count studying his parents exchange and the glare he was sending his father’s profile. The Count of new Jersey was playing a game of some kind. James was worried. He had no idea what the hell was going on?!

James Potter and the Court of Owls Chapter 4

James sat by the fireplace waiting as an image of a beautiful woman in her early forties appeared in the flames of the fireplace. She smiled at him.

“Happy Birthday Harry. Today your real journey begins today.” Ava Nightingale said in voice filled with warmth and pleasure.

James smiled at her. “Hello mother. Your looking well. Dad tells me you have some job offers to talk to me about. I’m up for hearing them but I also have somethings I wish to discuss with you.”

Ava’s image blinked in confusion at him and then studied his face closely and her smile faded away. “Something happened. Are you alright? Is your father with you?”

James nodded and tried to keep up his smile on his face in order not to overall worry his mother. “Yes. We got a visitor to our home looking for dad. He and I dealt with it there was also something else that happened.”

Ava shook her head. “Can you give me a little bit more detail on what or who came looking for your father?”

James looked over at his father who was now busy repairing the large hole left by the destruction of the Dementor. Angus glanced back at him and smiled and waved him back to his conversation with Ava.

James looked back at his mother. “It a creature Dad had been hunting for the-his boss. It was a dangerous creature. He had to use his hybrid weapon on it. I used my Patronus. We destroyed it so now we’re all safe now.”

“Hybrid weapon? Is that what he calls that silly monstrous weapon now?”

Angus started laughing in the background as he started to his work with some plywood, hammer and nails. He said nothing else so James focused on his mother.

“No. That’s what how I think of his 1911SC. A hybrid of magi craftsmanship and non-magi technological advance. It is very powerful weapon he uses to focus his power.”

“Angus allowed you to go into battle with him?” Ava asked in a strange tone.

James nodded. “Yes. I am of age. I told him so and he accepted me as an adult.”

“Harry. Your father did not need your assistance. He is a powerful wizard in his own who has not yet even reached his full measure of his powers. He will become the most powerful wizard in the modern era. You come a long line of powerful lords of magic and you are his heir. You have decades to go before you even touch his level and you are his heir.”

James nodded but still stared at his mother. “I know. But I am an adult now. I am a man. If I am to achieve me promise then I must-”

“-If?!” Ava said at him in shocked surprised. “You are Harry Potter. You will become every bit of strong wizard as your father and his fathers before him. Why are you doubting yourself at the beginning of your rise?”

James looked away. “I-I felt dad’s power when he took hold of his weapon. It was like a blanket of raw power and intent to destroy anything that got in his way. I don’t know. I know if I can live up to it.” He said honestly.

“James.” Angus called out to his son.

James looked up toward his father. Angus stared at him. “You are your own man now I’m proud of who you right now.. But, your still my son. Your mother and I didn’t leave nothing out in raising you. You hear me?”

James stared at his father and then nodded. “Yes Sir.” He said and then turned back to his mother that was studying him.

Ava was quietly staring at him as he finished explaining to her his thoughts on his father’s weapon. “Indeed. Did something else happen before the Dementor arrived.”

James frowned. “Yes. I had a dream about the night you sent me to live with father.” He said calmly.

Ava stared at him. “Did your vision involve me or my parts of the events that night.”

James grimaced but shook his head. “No. The dream was centered around Professor Longbottom, Tan Tan and dad having a short chat before they handed me over to dad and left. It doesn’t make any sense. Why am I having dreams like this now of all times?!”

“It wasn’t a dream. I made a mistake and underestimated how jealous people are of the Potter name and how many enemies your father has. Your father is a powerful wizard. Your father could have had any woman he wanted before after me.” She said staring at him.

Angus snorted in laughter and James looked at him. “What? Mom likes you a lot.”

“Tell your mother if she’s so grateful toward me then she can come around the house and I can provide her couple more kids for my grand legacy.”

James stared at his father. “Dad. Are you serious!?”

“Tell her!” Angus ordered.

James turned his head back to Ava’s concerned face. He smiled. “Dad says sense your so grateful to him for giving you a child then he would gladly provide you with more children if you were so inclined.”

Ava stared at him. “Harry. Now that you are in your adulthood. You’ll have to decide the course you need to take in life. I have positions in my company in the entry level of magical spell engineering. You can have it any time you want?”

“James. What’s her answer to my question.” Angus asked.

James’ face flushed with heat. “Mother. Ah Dad would like an answer to his question.”

Ava sighed. “Tell your father I will consider it when you have figured out your course in life and gone off on your own however, I will be around later in the week to have a cup of tea with him when I have finished my work. Remind him I still have the port key he crafted for me.”

James turned to his father. “Mom said she has to finish up some stuff at work and send you an Owl when she’s freed up but she also still has the port key your gave her so be ready when she comes by for a cup of tea.”

Angus nodded. “Alright. That’s good. I’ll do my best to convince your mother in bed when hit the sheets. Does your mother know about the Horn Serpent Patronus of yours?”

James nodded his head silently. “Yeah. Dad could give us a moment.”

Angus held up his hands. “Alright. Alright. I’ll leave you and your mother be. I got to go get other tools in the back down go near the front until I get back.” He said and then held up his hand a magical shield went up around the front of the entrance before he turned and left.

James turned back to his mother to see her smiling at him again. “What?”

“Your not coming to London.” Ava said with a nod her her head. “Your staying in the States?” She said with and assurance in her voice of it.

James sighed. “No. I’m not sure right now about it. I’m interested in getting an Auror position here. The plan will still be the same. I’ll work my way up the ministry and then head into the position of President like we’ve planned out.” James said.

Ava nodded. “I hear a but somewhere. What do you want?”

“Power.” James said softly. “I want what Dad has. Mother. Dad is powerful. He has real power.”

Ava pursed her lips but nodded. “Yes he does.”

“Have you seen him use that weapon he has. He killed a Dementors with it. He shoot fireballs of lightning out of it without being drained of any energy it seems. It was wicked. I have seen or read about anyone do what he does without using a phoenix core wand. He’s even the president here. How is that possible.”

Ava shrugged. “Maybe you need to ask him but at this point I wouldn’t ask him why he never chose to become the President of the American Congress of magic.”

James froze. “Why wouldn’t you?” He asked her.

Ava narrowed her focus on him. “Because it’s not a good question. Your father has his own reasons for why he’s in the position he’s in. Your a back sight you have the power to see into the past events of peoples and hear their thoughts. It’s a gift that takes time to develop over time and your going to end up working out the gift backwards and and present. No. I can’t explain it to you. You’ll have to experience it yourself. You’ll eventually find out the reason for that question but a better question that serves your purpose of gaining power is-”

Ava paused to give James time to think of the answer. He frowned shaking his head. He couldn’t think of it the only thing that came to his mind was-”

“Say it!” Ava said.

“Why did he stop using a wand?” I asked. “Did you ever use your back sight to see into his past? Did you ever find the answer?”

Ava shook her head. “No. No matter how many times I’ve tried. I can’t figure it out and I don’t know the reason he chose me. It’s like he walks outside of our reach to see into the events and patterns of the past or the power of oracles to see into the future. I don’t know. But, if you want to become like your father or gain his level power then you need to ask him or-”

“-I need to ask him to teach me become just as powerful as he is.” James said softly.

Ava nodded. “Yes. You can become his apprentice and shadow him and you’ll find your answer.”

“Mother. I read letter. Do you still think that way about yourself?” James said.

Ava stared at him. “It doesn’t matter.”

James pursed his lips. “I think your a powerful and a brilliant wizard. I think that’s the reason Dad choose you and wanted to start a family with-”

“-I have to go Harry. I love you. If your father approves of taking you on as his apprentice then you must obey his ever command and never doubt any decision he makes is to protect you because he loves you. We both love you and that is the only thing that matters. Remember that.” Ava said before her image disappeared and the fireplace became empty.

James stared at the empty fireplace and wondered if he had gone to far but then he knew that nothing was going to stop him.

Movie Review: Other People’s Money (1991)

The master speaks….

Short hand: Fast paced straight to the point story staring Danny Vito as Mr. Larry the Liquidator” Garfield about a corporate takeover of a business for the soul purpose of shit canning one division so that the corporation as a whole can make more money so that the business can be stripped of the assets and sold off in pieces.

Larry is an honest business man that doesn’t waste any time in bullshiting around but lays it out on the table and tells you how it fucking is. He is in your face and telling you what he wants and he don’t give a fuck how you feel about it because he’s coming to get the bag..

This is a beloved movie from my childhood that inspired me to one day become a investor. It’s a fast paced elegent dance and game of making money that gets me. There is a comedy and romance to make it more digestible to the general audience that are for the most part consumers. The writing and directing of the film is smooth like slick talking Bronx millionaire.

Another thing about the romance…Larry ain’t leading his life by his dick. He’s in it for the money and if the chick ain’t down with the way his is going well….the chick is going to fall in line and bring him the fucking bag because energy around top tier alpha makes a chick’s clothes melt off. Larry is HIM.

Spoiler alert: Larry gets the bag and his chick brings him another bag for the bonus…how about that shit?

Romantic bullshit theories 1. My take on the Curry divorce proceedings….

Disclaimer: I don’t know why the fuck Dell and Sonya Curry are divorcing nor do I care but for the fact the things I’m hearing from “sources” and  allegations from the two individuals makes believe it’s about several levels some grade A bullshit.

I am hoping I am wrong and people don’t really believe romantic bullshit is a real reason to get and stay married. Now let’s get to the….

Romantic bullshit…

Now I’m watching a video by a dude that’s in the know on celebrity sports culture and couples secrets and such.

He presents the news that some basketball couple is getting divorced. I don’t give a fuck at first but then he starts getting in to theories on why the divorce is happening now.

My romantic bullshit meter is going off. I go from I don’t give a fuck to…this fucking female shit again.

Why? It’s because of two articles.

Article 1. Yeah. She was a rich millionare wife of a retired basketball dude but you have to understand….she wasn’t happy.

Holy shit

The words. She wasn’t happy gets my balls cramping up my dude. The words don’t comput. I…the fuck?!

I have no idea what marriage has to do with being happy. Real talk. My parents marriage wasn’t even like that.

What the fuck?

I try to understand but it sounds like female bullshit to me….though I know what it means…..

Mrs. Sonya Curry wants to get fucked by some other dude of higher value to her and she doesn’t want to be shamed about it. So of course I should feel sorry for this rich lady, right?!

Article 2. He was possibly cheating and he possibly was emotionally abusive?!

Holy shit.

I had to stop the video a couple of times because I was getting pissed off and then hearing this other shit from them or both sides…….

Let me paint you a picture….

Back in the day before my time. This shit happened all the time. But, rich folk were…well….smarter.

If a mother fucker was being an ass or cheating on his wife or whatever hell else he paid for it not in divorce all the time…the female went on a vacation?!

What type of vacation? A decade long one where she went her way bought a house on some fucking island and didn’t see her husband in two decades and lived happily while getting fucked by her 20 year old pool boy. The end….

Am I saying that is noble or right? No. I’m saying women were well…smarter. Why go through a noise and messy divorce? When you can spend the dude’s money, never see him and he does the same shit to her.

Because in the end it’s really a case of they got bored of each other and wanted to fuck other people.

Again, I don’t know what the fuck is the truth. I don’t really care. It isn’t my business but….the notion that these two adults married for romantic bullshit or really might think romantic bullshit is real even now is to me not laughable…..

It’s dangerously stupid. This shit has to stop. I’m serious. No married couple I know or have known stayed together simple because of feelings or romantic bullshit.

The uncovered LIE that started the MGTOW movement and is believed today.

History is writen and rewritten by bullshiters and losers.

I find this more truer then when I first discovered it not to long ago.

I used to believe in the lie. I used to think the lie was at the core of marriage and such and corner stone of relationships. I don’t any longer of course.

It was feed to me in movies and modern bullshit books of today but..the truth is so much more similar.

I really do believe this is a dangerous lie and one of the core things wrong with the west today.

Though….

You never know how dangerously stupid something is until you put it up face to face with the real tangible and objective truth.

Romantic love is bullshit. This goes without question. I say it often enough but I never realized how dangerously stupid the mere concept of it is until I heard a married female from the east try to grapple with the concept of romantic love. What love is for her is the concept her husband putting food on the fucking table and providing a roof over her head.

Real talk. I was watching again a podcast in which the question posed now that I think about is the stupidest notion in the world.

Should a marriage be based on romantic love?!

You have two western females on the panel and three western men and one eastern female who has a blank look on her face as if the question was about should one eat mood or shit if day old cheese wasn’t available?

One female was vaguely awhere about the bullshit behind the question but ignored it and said yes, from her view point. Romantic bullshit love was an important element in marriage.

One BLACK christian dude tried to pull some scripture and love and basketball feel to the shit. Out of pocket and still trying to justify a fucking feel that passes every once in while like a fart in the wind as valid.

A married traditional dude that distribes himself as Benevolent Dictator says correctly marriage is a business. It isn’t about romantic bullshit at all.

The eastern married female raises her hand when they’ve all gone quiet and says.

“I-ah. Could you ah give me an example of what romantic love is? I ah kinda can’t understand what your saying. It seems like a feeling and ah when I got married to my husband it wasn’t based on any of that.” She said.

Translation: The fuck?! Please explain.

Now…a moment of silence follows as westerners are trying to think on how to explain romantic bullshit as a real concept. The one married man ain’t saying shit. His head is down and his hands are covering his face for some reason.

A black power princess takes on the challenge. I’m going to summarize her bullshit. She’s a middle of the road fence sitting bullshiter.

“Yeah. Well. Like it is a feeling. And it’s important feeling to be the basis for a marriage. Like. It’s important and it’s literally very important as ah reason to be married. You can’t have a marriage without….however I can equally agree that for other cultures that like ah don’t have that framework then like ah a arranged marriage can be correct for that culture as well…like ah. Yeah. Both are equally good. Neither one is better then the other.”

My fucking brain hurt writing this summary but holy balls. Just hearing black power princess try to make romantic bullshit sound legit was laughable as it was slightly annoying.

Romantic bullshit is dangerously stupid shit my dude. What beta bitch gamma invented this shit? What blue haired sea beast thought this shit was….logical?!

But, this is the bullshit I grew up inductionated on and it wasn’t even the reason my black power princess mother married my Daddy.

The fuck?! This romantic bullshit lie lasted for what…nearly a century in the west?!

Late 1900s to now. A lot of western people still believe this shit. But, not for long. The timer is running out on the Empire and great romantic bullshit lie.
