R1TA 2.0

There was a sudden tension in the room now for some reason I didn’t know. I looked around until I found the source of it.

He was 6 feet tall and dressed like a street runner in an old black leather jacket white T-shirt and dirty blue jeans stained with oil and dirt the same as his boots. His face….it was strange. One second he seemed like one person and then I blinked and he was someone totally different. He smiled at me and walked from the group toward me.

I frowned at the man as he approuched me. I didn’t know him but I knew him. His face was lined with old scars and moving lines of codes though his eyes were normal human dark brown. He must be one of the newer model GEHs. “Are you a newer model as well?”

He shook his head. “I’m not like you. I’m just a consultant hired on last minute. Owen brought me in to have a look at you and see if you’ll be good for the job. Nice meeting you little sister. I’m Cy. It’s a sunny rain today. You picked a blessed day to be born in to the dream realm.”

I reached for his face and held his face between my hands. He smiled down at me. What was wrong with me?! “I apologize for my behavior Sir. I-I just feel like I need to greet you this way.”

The man smiled.. “Don’t worry about it little sister. All my fault. I’m a handsome devil.” He said and then he leaned down and touched his forehead to mean. We stared at each other until he lifted his head and then he took my hand and kissed my knockles and nodded his head.

“You will do. Happy birthday RITA. I will enjoy seeing your story unfold.” He said and turned and disappeared.

Cyberpunk Dreams.. I stared in shock and realized who I had been talking to. R1T9A reached up wiping my cheeks. I realized I had been crying, though for the life of me I couldn’t figure out why. I turned to R1T9A. “Why did he come here? Don’t underatand what is wrong with me? This is not the protocol.”

R1T9A shook her and patted my cheeks. “There is nothing wrong with you. Your behaving as you should. No one knows why he does what he does. It has been some time sense he’s been sighted. I expect now we’ll see him more. You’ll be assigned on a ship for a trade route. Your assignment is to safeguard the operation and security system of the hyperdrive engine. The ship must reach it’s destination at all cost.”

I nodded my head. “I will begin my training now before my assignement?”

R1T9A shook her head. “We will begin your training on the way.
