My Commander gave me one mission. Hold the Outlands. The invading army’s elite forces could not be allowed to conquer the Outlands or reach the city leaders. I was positioned near the portal into the realm.

I became the wall against the enemy. I took on squads and became a wall of lightning against the enemy’s ice bullets.

I had fought and experienced every kind of attack and then that all changed.

The giants came. appearing through the door as the last type of attack that came my way.

I stood against them even as I fought to keep my footing as they came at me. I lite the skies with lightning striking their bodies but it was little to no effort for them to shake off my attacks with laughter. I felt my luck was drying up again. I felt lost again and I didn’t know what to do next.
