I was home again heading to the location I had been aside to go to for training. I was nervous. I had never been in war before hell I didn’t know what war was but I was going to find out.

I arrived at the sight only to be quickly taken away by a group of Lightning Kissed to be trained before I entered battle with the invaders. My first teacher was Master Dan. He taught me control over my new powers.

My second. Master Hammer. He taught me form and strength. How wield the lightning and use it as a force apart of my body and senses.

My last teacher was Master Jai. He taught me how to bring all my lessons together and move with grace as I fought.

It was with Jai I was finally able to call the lightning to me and channel it how I saw fit to. It was amazing and dangerous feeling. It gave me caution for when and how I would use the lightning gifted to me in battle only and never as a toy to use among my friends.
I woke up two months later in my tent to discover my teachers had gone. No goodbyes or note telling me where they had gone only a sense they had come to do their duty to me. Duty. I understood that. It was what drove me. It was what was taught to me all my life and what I had run from. I got up dressed and headed to the desert nomads waiting for me outside. Commander Wilde nodded to me.
“Are you ready, son?”
I nodded. “I’m ready Boss. Let’s kick some ass.”
