Forty minutes later we were on the road on cycles with new leather armor. What the fuck were we doing? And how the fuck did we end up here?

These were the thoughts rolling through my head as I followed Omarion his bike and finally made the last turn down the alleyway to the location we would meet up with the dude we had been ordered to act as bodyguards in the hunt/termination mission.

He got off first at the corner and walked over to store front where a sexy looking authority standing at a corner glaring at us.

“He’s inside questioning the suspect, don’t ask him nothing. Authority is giving you twenty-eight hours to complete the job. You two cowboys fuck up and get him killed then your asses are going into the pin. We on the same on zone?”

Omarion nodded. “We’re on the zone, Momma wolf and ready for action. You smell nice. You like hot sex in dark alleys.”

The authority rolled her eyes. “Get the fuck on cowboy before I take your sexy ass for a ride Down sunset and paradise.”

Omarion snorted. You are a master at knowing how to tempt a man. I’ll see again.” He said giving her a respectful bow before heading inside.

I started following him inside. I stopped once but the authority flipped me off without looking. Damn. Shot down before an attempt to draw out my best line. I sighed and followed my brother inside. I caught up with Omarion inside.

We walked into a club quietly to the sound of loud music and bodies on the floor. They all were dressed in the same variation of tea leaf green color. Green Devils pack. Hard to imagine one dude had come in looking for one dumbass jackel that had traded a youth to invader trash for some clout and ebs from trash ice King.

“What do you know about this dude?” I asked.

Omarion shook his head. “Don’t start. I know as much as you do. Ex-wardog. Ex-assassin. Solo nomad.. We do what we’re told and hopefully he doesn’t skin us up like he did these assholes. We’re almost there.”

I was coming to the end of a tunnel of flashing lights. It felt like I was moving without moving. I realized just as I came out of the Virtual simulation and I realized I was wearing a headset decker. I took it off blinked several times as I looked around a very that I was sitting in Sergio’s office. He was seated by the window staring off as the sun set behind the blue tower buildings of Newark City State. I tried to get up but then fell back because my head was spinning.

“How long was I in?

“It should have only been a year.” Sergio said. “How much time do you remember?”

“Twelve months. Thirteen days and seven hours. I counted.”

Terry nodded. “What did you do? Did you get any reading done? Did you learn anything?”

I glared at his profile. “I read twenty books at the library on business management and trading and even got a certificate in trading and personal finance. I was looking to apply for Corpo trading license to buy and sell in the market. Now I got shit all because it was all a fucking VR SIM. Bastard. All that work for nothing but to fuck with my head.” I said and threw the headset at him.

Terry sighed, shaking his head. He reached inside his pocket and removed a datapad. “The VR SIM is an official device from the PIN Warden. All time served inside the set counts as a prison bid, and all certificates earned count as special education accounted to your personal ID account. Here, look,” he said and threw it to me.

I caught it and looked at my ID profile and information on my education to see, I had still had my certificates I had earned in the SIM and they counted as real in the real world. I shook my head. “I’ve never heard of anything like this before. Did you call in a favor for me and-“

“The PIN is full at the moment with inmates. This is Authority and the Kings have been looking into expanding into other forms of imprisonment for special cases like yourself. You were lucky in away though from your expression you may don’t feel that way. You were in for full day in real world time but the VR experience made it real enough. So. You did your time. You now have a bit of education and experience of what the PIN feels like. Once you go Corpo you won’t be bound by constraining Nomad laws that limit your freedom. Congratulations. You can leave now.”

I started to say to something then something accrued to me. I had his Datapad. I quickly brought up Sergio’s file and stared at the long list of his digital education in business finances, programming and the military information that listed all the weapons he was traded in doing and his main focus in his past life being hunting and detection.

Sergio smiled at me. “Are you done being a busy body about my ID history. I would like my Datapad back. Please.”

I got up carefully this time and when I was sure I could walk without throwing up. I walked over to Sergio and handed it to him. “I made a promise to you.”

“Thanks. You better be getting on your way. You have a life to make for yourself. Oh. I’m loaning you 25k ebs for you start yourself out. It’s also the standard fee the Corpo business offices desire for you to join into the business guild. It’s already been forwarded to an account in your name. The password is Serg991b. You can change it at your pleasure. No. No. Don’t look at me like that. I’m loaning the ebs. Your still damn well going to pay me back little sister. On your way. I’ve got to find some jobs tonight.”

“Your an asshole.”

Sergio shrugged. “What about it? Everyone has to be one to someone and you have to have one at the end of their own ass so are you going to cry about me being one to you? Because I don’t give a damn either way. Go away. Miss West.”

I shook my head. “No. I’m not. I’m Debra Sergio now. You got a job to do okay. I’ll leave you to it. I’ll be applying for a trader position today. I’ll take the floor of your office as a bed and I’ll pay you back by being a good daughter to you.”

Sergio glared at me. “I would prefer my 25k ebs back.”

I shrugged. “Tough luck. I didn’t promise you I would give you the money back and I didn’t ask for it. So it looks like your out of 25k ebs and bough yourself a daughter. Congratulation.”

“Fucking hell!”

I arrived at the cell door to find it empty. I felt a bit of headache from entry in. Where the hell was that girl?

“Pops!”

I turned and frowned at Debra in a prison purple uniform jump suit. She looked pale but well built and still in her right mind. That was good. “Your time is up! You ready to get out.”

Debra frowned but then froze and then hurried past me inside and checked her calendar on the wall and marks and realized. “Holy shit. It’s today. Hold on. Let me get my stuff.”

“No need. Debra! DEBRA!! Debra look at me.” I told her.

Debra finally did and her face was wet with tears. “I thought I had miss counted. I thought. I thought.”

I nodded. “I know. I know. But it’s over. Do you remember the last time you were in my office before they took you to the PIN?”

Debra frowned but nodded. “You sat me down and but a headset over my eyes to get me to relax a bit before I went in but all I did was played a few games and stressed out until they came. The waiting as the frustrating part at the time. I should have enjoyed that time more and not-“

“Debra. Put your right finger to your temple and push. No. No. don’t ask me anymore questions just do what I ask. Now.”

Debra frowned but did as I said and the world turned off….

It was quiet. To quiet. I looked up at the clock above my head.

It was Ten o’clock and just two hours away from midnight. I wondered when or whatever the hell the outcome of the day would bring. I hadn’t seen Judge Rafe in over fifty minutes. I knew they were all still on the hunt. I just wondered how dangerous Sergio was.

I was on edge. I don’t know why. I stared at the lady that had been assigned to watch me. She was Nomad. She didn’t say it. She didn’t have to. Her name was Goldy. She was a pretty blond with short hair closely cropped to her face. She dressed simply in blue jeans, leather boots, white T-shirt and leather jacket.

She was quiet. Someone came into the office finally. I frowned at the person. He had black mohawk and he was a tall lean dressed similarly to Goldy. He was a good looking man with tattoos on his arms. He nodded to me but he looked with regard toward Goldy.

“Mr. Sergio and the boys have come back from the hunt. He’ll be coming in but the Kings wanted a word with him first.”

Goldy frowned. “What the fuck happened?! Did he skin the bastard?”

I flinched at the dominance I heard in her voice. Goldy was strong type. I waited saying nothing.

Mr. Mohawk smiled. “He’ll have to tell you. It’s funny though. I fixed two problems we’ve been dealing and an issue with the Dragon.”

Goldy blinked up at him. “Cyberpunk?! Sergio confronted HeavyMetal? Damn. It must a real good story. I’ll have to hear it from Daddy.” She said and got up. She turned to me. “Your a pretty girl and very dangerous. Stay out of trouble and listen to your new father because until he says who will be your mate. Until then you’ll keep you damn legs close.” She said with sharp smile.

I quickly looked away and nodded my head. I didn’t look up until they both left the room. It was only when they were gone did I relax. I looked to see Sergio staring at me with cig out the side of his mouth.

“He got away but it’s un-likely he’ll be showing up. I’ve gotten rid all the portals leading into the dream realm. For the moment.” He said.

I stared at him. “That’s it?! I can just go free? I killed a man?”

Sergio held up a finger. “Free?! Who the hell said you get to be free? No. No. You don’t freedom. You have a problem that negates you obtaining in freedom at all in your life time. Do you know what it is?”

I said nothing. I talked to much. “Alright. I’ll be your whore and do whatever you-“

“SILENCE!” Sergio roared to me. “I told you what I wanted from you. Your going to be my maid, assistant and you’ll do whatever grunt work I will require of you until of course I hand you over to man to handle you. But, again you have a problem. Your stupid and a hoe. I don’t need either. You have some skills with the combat and such but your brain needs refining. Here’s the deal. I become your caretaker until I can hand you over to someone to protect you from yourself because I’m doing it forever. If you don’t take my deal then you can walk outside into judgement of a year in the Pin but you would make good with Authority and the Nomad kings would approve of it and when you get out you’ll have clear record your standing in the Nomad culture would be cleared. Keep in mind. You cost one of the hunters that went out to help me burn the people that cultivated your whoredom. What’s your decision?” He said.

I stared at me. I got up slowly. “Thank you for trying to help me and driving that asshole out of the dream realm.” I said walked toward him.

Sergio stepped aside and waved me through. “Thank you for giving me an interesting case for the night. Good luck. I’ll send you some books to read.”

I lit my cig and took a drag blowing out smoke up at Cy’s face. I walked around him and then came to face him. “What the fuck are you doing getting in the way of my business, kid? Shouldn’t you be running a package or something?”

Cy grimaced shaking his head. “I gave my word to my big brother Ice and that fucker that owns the realm behind me. You daughter killed one his archetypes. The Fucker asked for the Jackal be let go and given to them as payment to keep the peace between our realm and his.”

I looked him up and down. “You think your god or something now? Is that it?!” I asked him.

Cy shook his head. “No. I’m just trying to keep the peace and avoid starting up the Frost war again.”

I rolled my eyes and looked at the portal. I pointed a finger at it. “That fucker is going to come back around here. You think you can keep him safe from me burning his ass when I see him on sight?”

Cy glared at my profile. “I’m not protecting that asshole. But, you can’t burn him. He and the others from the other invaders are off-limits. It’s a peace agreement.”

I smiled. “Hmm. Okay. I get you little brother. I get you. Invader Jackals can go run wild in my backyard because you say so?” I said and started chuckling at him as he stared down at me. I stared at him. “Are you done?”

Cy nodded. “I’m done.”

I pointed at the portal. “Destroy that portal along with every other portal in this realm. I’m done dealing negotiating with these invading assholes.”

Cy stared at me. “Sergio! I can’t do that man.”

I smiled. “Oh yeah. You can’t do that can you. Looks like you tied yourself up pretty good and now your no damn use to anybody. Alright. Listen up, kid. You ain’t my Daddy. You ain’t running shit in this realm. This is my realm. The Elders run this shit little brother. We just allow you to live here. You ain’t even old enough to talk back to your own kind yet. So don’t go wagging your dick around me when your balls haven’t dropped just yet. Give me your damn sword.”

“Ah! Man. This shit sucks!” Cy sighed but he held out his sword.

The sword changed as I took it in my hand to my liking. I nodded. “You better get going back to city. Your warrior days are over. Leave your elders to protect our own backyard. Don’t worry. You won’t have to break your word but I ain’t having no shit head Jackal or invader piece of shit fucking around in my backyard. I’m fixing to clear up all this misunderstanding right now and you can believe that shit. Now get!”

Cy put his hands in his pockets and turned and started walking back toward the city. He disappeared as the other Blood Hounds got on their bikes. “Head to the other portals and destroy every single one of them.”

The Blood Hounds slapped their fists to their chests and then started up their bikes and headed off. I turned toward the portal holding the sword end toward the portal and fire and lightning launched out of the blade hitting the portal and it was destroyed on contact. I smiled. It took a bit of time. But, somehow. I got almost everything I wanted.

I had made it out of the city in a fucking cruiser I had boosted just before I made it to a exit road out of the city. I had beaten the fuckers hunting me. I had beaten the clown Kings of Newark. I had beaten him. Terry Sergio was fuck out of luck. I was just minutes away from making it to the exit portal out of the realm.

I finally I sighed in relief. Finally at last I relaxed in my seat. In a manner of minutes I was going to get the fuck out of this place and make my tour of the known realms. I was going to get power. I had information and a few toys I knew a few in the known realms would pay big ebs to get. I was going to get even with the assholes here. I just had to bid my time. I could hear the hum of the portal up ahead down the road over the hill. I just had to stay focused. I was getting the fuck out of here. Fuck em. I didn’t do shit to deserve this shit. I didn’t make that bitch sell her body. I just acted as a middle-man using the Nomads law against them. Sore fucking losers. The Bitch had a choice. I didn’t force her to do shit. Fucking Hobo barbarians. I raced on ahead over the hill and I saw a figure standing with a sword by the side of the road. I hadn’t seen him once in all life in the dream realm not even once. But I knew who the fuck he was.

Cy. The HeavyMetal dragon of lightning and Iron stood but his focus wasn’t on me. He was staring at the assholes behind me. I remembered the peace agreement between him and the Frost God. I felt my cruiser boosted up and start to speed up racing on ahead. I flipped him off before I raced on ahead toward the portal laughing my ass off. I had won. I had won. I raced on ahead into my future. I looked back once to see the portal close behind me and Terry Sergio hop off his cycle along with the other Nomads as they faced off against the alien coward. Fuck em.

I throw another can of gas down the street. I was down to one now. The streets were filled with the gas and the screams of my crew all running for their fucking lives from the dogs of the Kings of Newark and him. I used the time get my breath back. The fucker was coming. He didn’t stop. He just kept pace.

I didn’t know who or what the fuck he was. But, fucker knew me. I shouldn’t have entertained the conversation with him a few hours ago at the club. The conversation had just been a trap. But he let his mask down for second when he thought I wasn’t looking. I saw what he wanted and I ran.

SHIT! I took off. I heard him coming now. My lungs were burning. My feet hurt. My head hurt. My heart hammered against my chest but I kept pushing. He had to give up. I just had to make it out of the city. Once I was on the road in the Outlands I would race to the portal out of the dream realm.

I came to a stop and stared at the Nomad Blood hound for the Kings of the Nomads. As he stared at me over his shoulder. Holy shit. No. No. He said nothing. He didn’t have to say anything. It was the end of the fucking line. He was a wall in my way. Everywhere was a wall of smoke. No it couldn’t end like this. I didn’t even know the reason why I had pissed them off. I drew my mini P9 and aimed it at him. “Back off fucker!”

He nodded to my right. “Authority is waiting for you up ahead. Take the bridge to the Outlands.” He said.

I frowned at him. “Your helping me. No fucking way.”

The Blood Hound smiled. “Sergio doesn’t want the Authority to get you. They’ll only put your ass in the Pin. He wants to burn your ass for selling that girl to the invader trash. Either way your not getting past me, Jackal. If you surrender he said he’ll make your death quick.” He said.

I ran for the left. I could make it. I could make it. I just needed to keep running. That fucker was twenty years older then me. I could out pace him. I just had to keep going. There had to be away out of this. Damn it. Debra. This was all that fucking bitch’s fault. I was going to survive. Fuck Sergio! Fuck the whole damned dream realm. They weren’t going to beat me.

I was sat down in a steel chair in front of authority officer with dark sunglasses and a direct stare. “I am Officer Judge Bran Rafe. Please state your name and business or job.”

“Debra Sergio. I work for my elder as assistant and maid.” I said.

Judge Rafe frowned at me. “I have a Debra West, profession model on your legal ID. Is this correct?”

I shook my head. “No. My name was changed along with my profession a few hours ago and anything relating to the name and file will have to be updated. I’ve already given my statement about what happened. Is there anything? If not, I would like to be taken to my cell to await my trial.”

The Judge stared at me intently behind his mirrored dark sunglasses. “Sergio! I take it that Solo agent Terry Sergio has adopted you as his daughter?”

I felt my heat in my cheeks and as I glared at him. I nodded stiffly. “Yes. May I go to my cell please.”

“One moment.” The Judge said before getting out his datapad and quickly looking through something before he looked back at my file on the desk. He frowned. “On your file it says you are nineteen.”

“Yes I am. Sergio is well into his early thirties and old enough to be my father or elder so I fail to see the point in the question and I haven’t been mated. So I’m still am a underage. It doesn’t mean I’m a child. I just don’t presently have any rights or can own anything.”

“Hmm. Understood. Would you please surrender your lightning sword to my keeping for the moment.” He said. It wasn’t a question.

I shook my head. “That’s not in the cards for me. Sergio told me not to fight you until he handled the affairs concerning what happened to me. I am un able to form it let alone defend myself if you so chose to attack me.” I said feeling on edge after having to admit the truth.

“Hmm. Understood. Where is your former in employer/adopted father?” The Judge asked.

I clenched my teeth. “Red District on Old Block Wood 27th street.”

The Judge came up from his seat and waved me up. I bowed to him and came to my feet keeping my distance and my head lower then his and not looking at him directly. He stared at me with a stone cold face but it still felt like pity.

I could feel my face flushing. “What the fuck you looking at Authority?” I said but even to my own ears my voice was soft and barely above a whisper. Damn it.

“Nothing at all Miss Sergio. We will handle the matter that happened to you presently and your former employer/adopted father will be judged properly before the day break.”

I balled my fists together to keep him from seeing me shake at the sound of his voice. Damn it. He waved me toward the door. I didn’t want to move in front of him. It put me off and it was against everything of how I was taught. I had to force myself to move carefully toward the door. It was noisy and a lot of talk going on outside. I saw news footage on a big vid screen as a series of explosions went off and people running and then I saw the camera man point the camera toward the sky and symbol of Red Wolf head flashed from a search light.

Holy Shit! One of the Kings has called a holy war. I jerked my eyes away from the symbol as I felt The Judge behind me notice the vid footage.

“Alexa. I need men on the fucking street now. King Fish has called the Nomads to a Jackel Hunting party. Sammy take Miss Sergio to my office and watch her until I get back with Sergio.”

I frowned wondering how Sergio was going to get me out of this mess if he could.

It was an interesting story leaving me with more then enough questions and hunger to solve them. I just had a problem as well. I didn’t think I would get to solving half of the dozen questions swimming in my head.

“Well that sounds like a confession to me.” Officer Winks said rising up from one of my chairs he had his service P9 ready but it was pointed down at my floor. “You’ll be coming with us and be judged for your crime.”

I sat back in my seat reaching inside my suit pocket for my cigar and lighter. I stopped the recorder on my desk with a finger. I lit it up as they approached Dedra. She looked like she was about to get into a fight. I pointed a finger at her. “Are you a Nomad still?”

Debra frowned. “What?!”

“From your story I got the impression that you grew up in a Nomad culture. Is that right? Your a Nomad right or was that a lie? I mean it’s okay if your pretending to be a Nomad.”

“I am Nomad. I ain’t pretending to be nothing. I am what I am.”

I nodded. “That’s sad. I almost wished you had lied for my own sake of mind. You came to me for help. You’ll get your help and then some. You’ll go with these gentlemen to the authority station and I’ll handle you case from now on. No funny business.” I said.

Debra frowned at me.

I glared at her. “You’ll do what I tell you. You really don’t have a choice. Your wanderer on the roads looking for help. You got my help. Miss Debra Sergio” I said.

Debra flinched back but then held out her wrists for Officer Winks. I raised an eye brow. She blushed but she nodded. She looked down and offered her wrists to him. “I surrender to your handling and I won’t fight you.”

Officer Handy looked at me. “What the hell is this?” He asked me.

I shrugged. “She’s going along with you. I’ll handle her case. She won’t fight you. She isn’t allowed to because I told her too.” I said.

Officer Handy opened his mouth and then closed his mouth. “Sergio. What the hell is going on here? We’re taking this woman in. She’s headed into the Pin for-“

“-She isn’t legally a woman and you can’t charge her for being under the authority of her elder who used her as a sex slave. You should know the Nomad cultural laws Officer Handy. I believe it’s the first law of the Nomad culture.”

Officer Handy stared at me rolling his eyes. “Put the cuffs on her, Officer Winks. We’re done here playing games with this Solo agent.” He said dismissing me.

I smiled saying nothing. They would find out soon enough.

Something was wrong!

I felt weird. The Jon had finished up apparently faster then I had expected. He had rolled off me quickly toward the over side and started coughing. I frowned looking down at myself. I hadn’t even gotten my under wear off. No. This wasn’t right.

I felt it. My body didn’t feel right. My heart was racing and skin tingled with lightning energy. Shit. I rolled off the bed as I felt the room seem to shift. I got to my feet on the solid carpeted floor of the hotel room. I looked at the Jon as he stood up slowly naked. He seemed a lot taller then I remember and his body was a lot more darker.

I snickered lightly to hide my fear. “Your a new arrival.” I said my heart was racing.

“What?! No. What are you doing? I paid for a full night. We haven’t even gotten started. A deal is a deal.” He said and my vision shifted again as he tried to use his powers on me.

I shook my head focusing my power into my hands and snapped my fingers. The sword came fast to my hands forming from my hands. I glared at him. “The war is over. Cy and Lightning Baby negotiated a peace pack with your kind. Back off!”

The room was getting darker as the Jon started whispering sweet nothings in the air. I could see a strange blue black smoke in the air. It smelled like some type of drug. I was starting to get light headed. I put out my hand and blasted the asshole in the direction I heard his voice coming from.

He went flying back knocking against the wall. The smoke faded as the room became more filled with light from the nightstand lamp. I glared at him. “I don’t want no trouble. I know what you are and why you tried to attack me. The war is over. It’s peace time.”

“Peace?! There is no peace. As long as the alien insults the Lord God of Frost. I was right about you. You used to be a soldier in the frost wars.”

I shook my head. “I wasn’t no damned soldier. Your people tried to invade my home and killed off my pack. I killed as much of your own. Eye for an Eye and shit. Leave me the fuck alone. I was a fucking kid. I had no choice.”

He laughed in an echoing voice and his eyes blazed red and black fire energy. Fucker bounded toward me throwing a fire ball in my face. I blocked it with my sword. He was on top of me then. I kneed him in the nuts making him scream from the blow and the lightning energy I put into it. His hold on me loosened I thumbed him in the eye before I head butted him on the nose hard. He rolled off me to his feet and opened his mouth wide.

Fire gathered inside mouth as he prepared to blast me with all elemental energy inside his body. I couldn’t block that shit. Once it touched me I was dead. I didn’t think. I just stabbed him in the mouth with my sword and I stared down at him as he gabbed on my sword trying to remove it but it wouldn’t be removed. I cursed getting my clothes on fast as he fell to the floor and started dying fast. I heard feet running down the hallway toward the room. Someone was coming fast.

Shit. I withdrew my sword from his mouth as the authority knocked the door down. Fucking shit. I ran for the balcony and dove off the side. I used the sword to create a lightning rope to swing down to the bottom. I got up quickly as I heard shouts and authority cruisers coming for me. Damn it. This was bad. I took off running.

It had been long time sense I had killed but that had been in the frost wars when that fucking alien had tried to take over the dream realm. This was different and there was a peace pack between the Cyberpunk dreams and that asshole.

How the fuck did they find about me? This had to be a set. I needed help fast or I would be headed to a one way trip to the Pin or banishment from the dream realm.

Club Zane was blazing with Bang Baby energy. You feel me?! Me and the girls were on break for a minute for an hour by the word of Zaddy G. It was wonderful. We hadn’t had a free night in six months and this was going to be our one and only before six a.m. and then we would be on hitting the streets turning a up the charm and then hitting the sheets for some eb coins to be emptied into our a DataPad coin accounts.

I was shaking and grooving and then I felt a tap on ass. I turned to see Zaddy G’s glowing green eyes. He was on the juice. But there was clarity in his eyes as well. He was all business. “Who is it?” I asked knowing he wanted me to start working again.

“The Jons at the bar. Red shirt and cheap black suit. Get him up stairs to room Twenty-Two. You’ll have second night of free tomorrow my little gift to you.” He said giving my lips a quick kiss and slipping the key in my pocket.

I don’t giggle and don’t say anything. I just move on to the bar wiping my lips of his taste. A second free night!? Yeah right! He was fixing to dump me. He said the same shit to Daisy when she turned twenty-five and was all used up with a few extra pounds on her belly and ass and to much jaded despair and drug use in her eyes.

I didn’t have the weight problem but I did have jade in my eyes and ways. I didn’t smile as much anymore or felt the need to be all that charming. Though honestly I didn’t need to. I was 6’2 fit and beautiful. I could get charm it or ask for a Jons money easy on the spot and I was turning twenty-six in a matter of days. My time was up. I had no idea what the hell I was going to do. Zaddy G was my manager and held all the keys to my account. I had no trouble guessing that before the night was up I was going to be out of ebs before I woke up from night in the sheets.

I needed to turn this night around. It was time I got to thinking about what to do next. The ride was over and I needed to hitch on to something else. I made my way to my last Jon for the night and my life maybe. I sat down in front of him. A news story was playing on the Big Vid screen above the bartender’s head. I waited for the Jon to notice me and buy me a drink.

“You want a drink before we head up stairs?” He said.

I smiled. “I’ll have a Dry Martini.”

I was quiet letting him watch me and talk. I half ignored him not caring what the hell he was saying. It was all apart the game anyway. I found the story playing above more interesting. The couldn’t hear a word going on but it was another weird mystery about a murder and theft. Solo. Terry Sergio was in the background behind The Judge Bran Rafe and several authority officers all standing tall and acting like they had solved the case. The cameras focused on The Judge as he started speaking answer a question. I noticed the background where Sergio was making his quiet exit from the crowd.

I felt a hand on my shoulder. I brushed his hand away and turned my attention to him. “Let’s go, party.” I said and started walking away from him to follow me. He quickly caught up with me and wrapped his arm around my waist. I allowed it and kept on walking. I saw Zaddy G at the door pretending he was talking to somebody. He was watching and pointedly showed me my Data-Pad in his freehand. I smiled pulling on my mask to get ready for work. I snapped my fingers away from Zaddy G;s vision and the lights clicked off for a second before they came back on. It had been enough. My Data-Pad would be fried and he wouldn’t be able to use it. While he was figuring out how to get it repaired so he could get into my account I would be on the run not right after I got whatever cash I could out of this Jon. I was going to be nice. I would give him a good time but I for damn sure was going to get some Credits to use.
