Largo’s Flame Episode 7

I sat down to play a game with Azibo as he set up the board. It felt normal just moving from the city to the village. There was still a weirdness to it.

“What was your life like in the city?” Azibo asked.

I shrugged. “Not much to tell. I grew up fighting in the streets. Omarion and me teamed up to survive.

“What happened next?” Azibo asked.

I smiled. “We grew up. Got jobs in the security forces and partnered together because no one else trusts Roins. We worked good together and decided to start out own pack sense everyone already thought of us as brothers we became brothers officially with the help of a silent sponsor who acted as our official pack mother.”

I frowned as I thought about what happened next. “Things went to shit after couple of years right when Omarion was set to be promoted to the executive class. It was my fault.. I cost us our jobs by failing to show up for an important job and then I fucked him over when I tried to use the name of our silent third member of our pack to get us out of it.”

Omarion took all the heat for me and spent a year in the Pin with hard labor in the diamond mines. When he got out I didn’t know how he would greet me. I just showed up to give him some credits and my car.

Omarion just hugged me and asked me to him to get him some work to do. He’s never mentioned that time again but I promised myself I would always be there for him.”

Azibo smiled. “You have a question for me. Ask it.”

“So why did you change me into an elemental alien?”

Azibo shook his head. “You are what you are. There is no dragon that can change mortals into what we are.”

“So you knew-” I stopped because Azibo shook his head.

“No. We do not have absolute knowledge. We are different from the mortals but not better. Show me. Your days in the city.”

I thought of my childhood and youth growing up in the city.

I stopped. “You said my mother took me from you. I have to ask. Am I really your son or was that some alien bullshit metaphor so-“

“Largo.” Azibo said patiently. “Do you believe Ren’s relationship with Lightning baby is metaphorical?! Do you really think they do not have sex?!” He said and then grinned at me. “You are still so very young and adorable.”

I could feel my face burning in embarrassment. Damn. “Okay so then why do I look like-“

“You look fine. You look as you should. These forms we have are clothing for us Largo. Nothing more. You have time. You are only days old by our lifespan. What gifts have you brought back from the city?” Azibo asked.

I sighed as I got up and stood in the middle of village and snapped my fingers.

Azibo frowned at the solar panels. “What are those?”

I smiled. “I plan on upgrading the village a little. So you and the villagers can least stay up to date on the goings on in the dream realm.”

This is surprising. Cy was coming at me like a bullet train. I had to do my best to avoid his attacks.

The circle formed under our feet around us. The fight changed suddenly.

I was on the edge and I felt the thrill but I was fighting Cy and enjoying every minute of it. Cy started laughing as the gold disappeared from his eyes and he smiled at me as a free man again.

Suddenly we were thrown the ground. Pain hit every part of my body.

Then the asshole Boss invader stood over us. He wanted. Damn. This was it but then I heard him scream out in pain as red lightning hit him from behind.

Omarion

Omarion kept up his attack blasting Fish head with a lightning storm of red flames and lightning. He kept up the attack as the alien started running to escape but Omarion kept up the attack tracking him down until he brought him down inside the authority building.

We took off for authority Square. On the way Omarion updated me on what happening for the last few months sense I was away. Cy had got into it with another Dragon in the realms and lost a fight with him and became enslaved to him. The takeover was happening now but Lighting Baby and the Nomads were holding the Outlands and parts of the city still.

Months?! Shit. It’s hard to imagine but it was true though the city didn’t change much sense I was away.

We finally reached the square. I was treated to a sorry sight. Cy was under some kind of hypnosis standing obediently with his master sitting with a shit eating grin and a man in suit to his right glaring at me.

I got off my bike and started to them. Pain hit me from behind.

Fucker hit me with a blast of some type of energy that was sending weird messages into my head about who I was and how much I loved the one who owned my soul. I shook that shit off. No owned me.

The fucker got closer to me smacking the shit out of me on the back of the head. The messages grew in intensity but I ignored them I was fucking pissed off now. My speed increased and caught that fucker with a right cross. Fucker went down easy.

I then grabbed him quickly and threw him out of my realm. “Get the fuck off my property, bitch.”

A weird silence fell as I turned to the Boss that had invaded my home realm. “You ready to join him.”

“Well. Congratulations pack. We have accomplished our mission.” I said with a sigh of relief. It was over. I still couldn’t believe it but more importantly all my people were alive and well. The best news I’ve sense the 2nd damned Frost war started but that was over to. Now it was time to get back to work.

I looked at my pack. They were scared and a bit shaky but they still had steal on their eyes. I nodded to them. “I’m proud of you. All of you. Your efforts not only gained us credits but ended a stupid war permeantly and you’ve made yourselves legends. I’m proud to be apart of this pack.” I said and saw a few shocked and embarrassed looks. I frowned. “What’s wrong?!”

Hexi shook her head. “Doesn’t feel like much to be proud of. Frost is dead but your still stuck in cyberspace.” Hexi said with a sigh.

I felt a mixture of thankfulness and self reflection. They were sad for me. Though I had come to accept my situation after some time has past.

I looked up as I saw the virtual image of Debra appear in the room. She looked sad to. “I agree with her Dad. It doesn’t seem like much of a victory with everything that you’ve lost.”

I smiled shaking my head and felt Daisy lay a hand on my shoulder. “Count your blessings baby girl. The war is over. My enemy is dead. My daughter is alive and wealthy. My pack strong. Life for the moment is good. Now. Let’s get to work.”

Omarion

“What’s up Frosty!” Cy said coolly as he appeared between Frost and Sigma.

Damn. Holy shit. It was over.

Frost stared. “No. Your dead. I killed-“

“You killed my brother, Ice head. Not me.” Cy said before he was knocked back to the ground.

Frost started stumping on him in a mad rage. He paused to glare down at Cy.

“A small mistake. I will defeat you and this realm will be-“

Cy moved fast coming up swinging and punching the ice off of Frost’s face. “You destroyed his body!”

“Imprisoned his soul in cyberspace!”

What?! Cyberspace. Holy shit. HeavyMetal Dragon’s brother is-“

“I should have ended your fucking life decades. This ends now.”

I stared at the Frost bastard as he died slowly.

Sigma stood over him as Cy walked away. He stared at Frost. “Well that settles matters. One more thing Terry Sergio sends his regards from cyberspace.” He said and smiled coldly.

Largo

Male laughter made me look up and see him coming. He was here.

“I have arrived. Are you ready to bargin?!” Owen Sigma said.

The Fixer had appeared at last. This was it.

“I will accept your unconditional surrender and worship as your new God.”

“I think your getting a little a head of yourself. By the looks of these men you have yet to break them.”

Damn right! I just needed one chance. I was never giving up.

“My people’s leaders will fight to the last man and then set the city a blaze rather then surrender to you. It is the way of the nomad. No. It is the way of all people here. I say however, we settle the matter between you and I?”

Frost let go of my brother and walked over to Sigma to face him. “A duel?! I accept. Name your champion.”

Omarion

I could hear Largo laughing over my headset radio. I smiled.

“Bro. Look up ahead. It’s Frost himself waiting for us! At the raid location no less. Huh?!” Largo said.

“Looks like we were finally able to draw him out of hiding in the background. You know what that means?!”

“Mission accomplished!” I said feeling the full satisfaction of knowing we had played this asshole into finally coming out into the open where we could hit.

“Aw. Look at him coming to greet us. He must be fans of ours!”

I laughed as we got off our bikes the mission was done. The reat depended on whatever plans the Boss or kings had going.

< Get out of there. It’s done!> Hexi yelled over the radio.

We cut the line. We couldn’t do that we still had to keep the ice head located to location until the Boss made his move.

“Well Largo. Let’s give him a warm welcome.”

“What the hell is this shit?!”

Omarion was quiet but a smile creeper up on his lips. “Another indication we are on the right path.”

“I got it!”

“Holy shit.”

“Alright guys this is where we part ways!”

Nav leaped off his bike as we raced by in shocked surprise.

“What the hell are you doing?!” Omarion demanded as Nav’s brothers joined him as the ice men converged on the pack.

“I’m doing what we do best. Put Ice heads to sleep. Alright boys it’s time to have some fun!”

“Honey, are you ready?” Cooper asked me softly.

I didn’t know why he wanted me to do this or what good it would do any of them out fighting in this stupid war. I didn’t know what to say.

“They killed two of my sons today!”

“This war has barely started and already I’m dying inside. But, this isn’t about me. This is our realm. Our home. Their here to take it.” I said as I felt my pain begin to ignite into a slow burning rage.

“You are my sons. My brothers. My extended pack. Fight on my brothers. Fight on my sons. This is who we are. We never give up!”

“They came to plunder and destroy. There have been others. It’s time we put these Ice heads in the grave with the others.”

The camera went black as I saw Cooper staring at me with crimson blood red eyes. “We will win!”

Largo

“Largo!”

I turned drawing my P 20 and fired it and saw that same green flames coming out of the nose of my revolver and felt the pull of energy come out of me. I smiled as the ice head blew away into pieces. I turned to Omarion. “I got him!”

Omarion was looking past me down at the enemies still approaching us. “Not him. Look. It’s him.”

I turned and stared. At the powerhouse baring down on us like a fucking missile from a Death cruiser!

“Him!”

“Holy shit!”

“Who the hell is that?!” Omarion asked.

“Wow!” I said. The kid was cutting up a storm.

He drove up to us grinning like a school kid that won the big game. He nodded to us. “The name’s Nav! They call me the Sandman! Hexi sent me to keep you guys alive and put Ice heads to SLEEP!!”

He had a set of balls on him. I wondered though who the hell he was. Omarion nodded his head though. “Thanks for coming Nav. I’ve heard of you and welcome abroad to help us get to our mission.”

I nodded to the others with him. “Whose your crew?”

Nav shrugged. “My little brothers. I’m their alpha and elder.”

Holy shit. This kid was the real deal. An alpha at his age of a pack!? Damn. Hexi must have paid good credits for this guy. I nodded to him. “Thanks for coming.”

author notes “Fuck ya! This shit is metal as fuck!”

Omarion

Damn Ice heads! They were crawling all over the fucking city. We had an E.T.A. of forty minutes more until we reached the location we were supposed to raid. I still couldn’t believe we had missed finishing our last job completely. It was fustrating as hell but I promised the boss we were going to get back the-

<Omarion. Wake the fuck up! You got a enemy coming at you.> Largo roared at me from my headset radio.

I drew my modified P-19 and fired taking out an enemy right as I heard Largo screaming my name over the radio.

I felt the bastard claw my armor from behind and the freeze started to creep in as I felt my element rise to the surface as my rage exploded. I felt the fire and lightening as it made my vision turn crimson. Time slowed down as I leaped off my bike turning toward my enemy.

My fist connected first smashing into him and then did a swift kick to his body away half of his body and sending him rolling away on the streets. I reached for my bike pulling it back toward me and jumped back on and raced away. Largo caught up with me and bumped fists and continued on.
