Blue Technomancer CHAPTER 22

Beau heard the buzzing of his alarm clock go off on the floor beside. He reached for his bottle and brought it to his lips only to find it was empty. He sat on his futon bed and threw the empty bottle of Jack Danel’s against the wall smashing it against the white wall of his tiny closet apartment. His toy robots started waking up now he had to get up and use the bathroom.

He crawled to the bathroom, relieved himself and then washed up. When he was done he crawled back inside his bedroom and started getting dressed. He was dressed when he heard a knock on his door before it was opened with a keycard.

Two twin young men skin Supers came into his apartment. They glared at him. “Techno. Man. You drunk again?” Alex Wade asked him.

“Techno bro. This is to much.” Dexter Wade said.

Beau snorted shaking his head. “I had a bad night. I’m not drunk. I have hang over from last night. I’m ready to go. Just get my stuff ready. I got to make to make my rent and fill you two gentlemen’s pockets.” He said before he pulled himself up into his wheel chair. He smiled and reached down to carelessly roll up his futon over and then started wheeling himself to the door.

The two brothers said nothing but hurried to get a table and toys ready. Beau sighed wheeling himself to the elevator as his two friends and helpers got his table and box of merchandise. They took the stairs while he waited for the elevator to arrive.

It took a bit of time but soon enough the elevator arrived and the automatic doors opened up. A man in a dark suit and sunglasses was waiting for him. Beau wheeled himself inside nodding to the man. He spun around. “Could you hit the 1st floor.” He asked.

The man nodded silently hitting it and the doors closed. They were both silent as they went down stairs. The man in sunglasses turned to Beau. “Mr. Lucas. I take it.” He said.

“I’m not interested.” Beau said.

“I work with a particular organization that is interested in hiring you for your brilliant mind. A hundred grand a year plus benefits and an studio apartment.” He said.

Beau smiled. “Do you work for BlackWater?” He asked.

The man was silent. “Hmm. Yes. That is remarkably excellent guess on your part.” He said.

Beau shook his head. “I’ve had a lot of offers sense I’ve been let off from the government. You were the last one. I was expecting to come and a hundred thousandth a year sounds like minimum wage with today’s with the weight of inflations going. All I’m interested in is dying quietly and being left the fuck alone.” He said.

“If it’s the government having a problem with you working with us. I can assure you-” He began but stopped when Beau looked at him.

“I’ve seen you watching me for a bit of time. I also seen the fed your working with tailing me when I was trying to talk a good time girl into giving me a discount on head rub. I’m not interested in working for the government directly or indirectly anymore. No games. I just want to die quietly and be left the fuck alone. Sorry brother. I’m only interested in living quietly as much as I can. I don’t have that long on me and my days are pretty much drinking and trying not to think of anything to make to end myself. So with all due respect fuck off.” He said.

The elevator door opened and the man smiled taking off his sunglasses revealing his glowing mirrored eyes. “Good evening to you brother.” He said and walked away out of the elevtor.

Beau sighed and wheeled himself out toward the front of the apartment building on to the side walk where his two young friends had set up his booth and he wheeled himself over as his customers started coming up to his desk.

He smiled as a young girl with horn on her head came up with dollars in her hand smiling at him. He grinned at the girl. “How’s it going baby girl. I got your doll for you right here for you.” He said reaching over to a box with package on it and handed to her the box. The girl handed the money over to him and took the box with an excited giggle.

She ran over to her parents who stood off to the side with their hoodie’s up and face masks over the lower half of their faces. They nodded to him in thanks. He nodded and put the money in the box he kept the money.

Beau looked up to the clear blue skies and sun shinning down on him. He grinned.

“These are amazing. Did you make them yourself.” A charming feminine voice called to him.

Beau was half drunk but his mind focused on the genuine admiration at his skill in making the pet robots on the table. He had been sober for two months until he got the news they had put Rider in prison for two years but not before collaring his powers.

Rider was collared and put in to the general population. If he survived Beau knew his old friend wouldn’t know how to cope with the new world again once he got out.

E had called him to promise he would be watched but her words did little to ease his mind. It had taken E five damn years to find a means of halting Rider’s biological time bomb from going off.

“Excuse me. Sir.”

Beau shook himself out of thoughts of his friend and looked up at a young blond woman dressed in an leather jacket and jeans. She stared at him with sensual sky blue eyes that had a mystical glow about them. She had average looking face and easy going smile that hinted at ready sense of humor and brown chestnut hair that reminded him of his mother. She stared down at Beau with eyes that were mystical blue mirrors of concern as she studied his face.

“I sure did Darlin. I’m a straight up wonder with making things. It’s one talent I still have going for me that is of some use.” He said.

The Beauty held his gaze. “Your hero Technomancer.” She said.

It wasn’t a question it was more like a statement of fact like she already knew him and a whole lot more.

“So…are you a back sight?” He asked.

The Beauty shook her head. “No. I have employee at my company that deals in temporal patterns but I have a friend that pointed me toward you. You are a fine engineer. I could use you on my team.”

“I don’t work for the government…anymore. I mean my own business. I don’t want no trouble.” He said kindly to her.

“Pardon me. I forgot myself. I’m Jassica Remo.” She said and gave him a card.

Beau looked at the name of the company and her position. “Senior VP of Homeworld industry. Homeworld. Interesting name. What do you do at your company?” He said and then he noticed the logo on her earth world globe on her jacket.

Jessica smiled. “We consult for private parties and act as private security for clients in need of protection or otherwise.” She said.

Beau had heard of companies like her’s when he was in the service and had fought along side some of the agents of such companies. Mercenaries. Professional Mercenaries. Hired guns. Hell who was he to judge. He had done his time under contract with the government before they sent him to prison and after.

He just had one question. “Did someone send you to me?”

Jessica smiled. “Like a said a friend pointed me in your direction. We’re based in the city and Baltimore but have operations in Hawaii as well. There is room in board a decent paycheck and you’ll work with brillant ladies and gentlemen.”

“Did Rider send you or E. You have to tell me. I most know.” Beau said surprising himself by his old charm creeping back into his voice.

Jessica giggled. “You’ll have to come with me to find out. Though. I have a guess it will be surprising for you what your friend has accomplished over such a short time period.”

It had been five years sense he saw or heard from his old crew. Rider was busy doing his super hero thing and getting cartoon shows made after him and his early beginnings.

Angel.

Damn. He hoped it wasn’t her. All the same he didn’t know and he had to find out. Beau nodded. “Alright you talked me into it. I’ll go with you.”

“That’s excellent.” Jessica said with a smile. “When would be a good time for you to visit the-“

“Today would be good enough for me. I’ll travel with you. I got a bit a cash to spend on a ticket and I got nothing holding me here. I’m ready when you are.” Beau said quickly.

Blue Technomancer CHAPTER 21

Beau woke up on a stiff cool steel surface and released instantly where he was and what was about to happened. He was tied down to the table.

Men and women in white masks and white medical operation outfits. They had told them were going to need to have a look at his body to get a idea for what happened to him and if they could replicate it and made body armor for their special soldiers.

“Mr. Lucas. I am Doctor Miranda McDonnell. I will be handling your procedure this morning to find out the damage the alien did to your body and then we can figure out how to best to help you-” She paused as I began to laugh at her.

“Let’s get to it sexy. It’s been a while sense I’ve danced with death.” Beau said.

There was a moment of silence that followed that lasted more then a few minutes. The four doctors stared at him in confusion.

“Mr. Lucas. We will be making a discovery mission only in this procedure. That will last no longer or less if possible then four hours. You were told about this procedure and agreed to it?” She said.

Beau grunted. “I’m not making fuss sexy about the situation I’m in. It is what it is? I would rather you not bullshit around with me about it. I’m the property of the United States Government. They have every right to do anything to my body. Will you put me to sleep during the process?” He asked with a hopeful note in his voice.

“You have been given a pain reliever. You won’t feel any pain.” She said.

Beau doubted that shit much. Pain relievers didn’t work on him anymore. Another bullshit side effect that he had as by product of his mutation. She must be a rookie? He thought. She was about to learn the facts of life right here and now.

“Is there any possibility I get some music to listen to?” I asked.

“Yes. I did bring some music to play. I hope you like classical.” She asked.

Beau hated classical music but he nodded his head. “Play sugar.” He said.

“Echo! Play Ludwig Van Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.” Miranda said.

Beau stared up at the fluorescent lights as he listened to the music begin. His eyes teared up as he felt the blade cut into his chest.

Tears flowed down his cheeks as he stared up at the lights. He pictured his Rider and Angel in his eyes. The music continued on and on flowing from one song to the next. The pain. The pain was intense but it was as much as the day he had first died and been reborn as mutant blue face freak. He smiled in laughter.

Beau lay on the floor unresponsive as his guard kept pumping his chest to keep his heart going. He didn’t know why they bothered he didn’t much care that he was feeling his broken body finally shutting down until he heard the sound of classical music over the income and recognised it as Bach’s music.

He smiled and wondered maybe. Just maybe if he lived a little longer. Another year at the most and then he could hope to see Rider again. He remembered that E had finally been allowed to visit him and told him about her possible cure for Rider. She had it but she wasn’t there all the way perhaps he could think of something. Yes. He had to live a little longer to help Rider live.

That’s what he would do. Beau decided to live just a little longer. He had something to hold on to for now. Something he had to do. He had to work with E to get the device working to nullify the effects of his mutation. It was a way that could help him out.

Beau pushed his wheelchair into the Major Benjamin’s office. The Major stared at his shaky form and pale face and skinny body.

“You did a good job in helping with the new cure and collar program for your kind.” He said.

Beau said nothing he just stared at him and waited for him to be given all the platitudes. Major Benjamin smiled at him. Beau frowned at him. “Can I go back to my cell now?” He said.

Major Benjamin’s smile fell away. He straightened up as he stood over Beau. “Your military service is done Mr. Lucas. You have received an honorable discharge. When you leave this room you will be given the clothes you were given. Your penchant is still active and your time here you will be paid for and you will be shipped to the destination of the mutant district in Baltimore Maryland. Thank you for your service.” He said and saluted him.

Beau didn’t believe a word that was said but he returned the salute to Major Benjamin. The behind me opened up. I let my salute fall as I leaned back in my chair. Strong hands took hold of the handle of my chair behind me and the man started to turn me around.

“Alright. Mr. Lucas. I will be your ride out of this place. We will stop by your room and get your stuff and be on our way to Baltimore, Maryland.” He said in deceptively delightful sounding voice that gave off a positive energy and power in his tone.

That was it then it seemed. He was wheeled around and out of the room toward the room. He sighed. Five years. Five damn years of hell. He thought he was going to die in the place on the floor struggling to breath.

Beau was rolled into his room/office. A box was on his small bed. The guard behind Beau wheeled him over to the bed. Beau picked up his box putting it on his lap to see his stuff inside and short note inside.

Beau smiled as he was wheeled out of the room. He felt it then. He was broken, beaten but he still had friends and people that hadn’t forgotten about him.

Blue Technomancer CHAPTER 20

“What the fuck is this?” said the male mutant that was supposed to kill Beau

Beau turned to the fire and lightning breather. “This us turning ourselves in. It’s what you and the government came in here to do. Take us in.”

“Your fucking around.” The Fire breather said. “Your just fucking with us to hide your power. I’ve seen the footage of you and Rider in action.”

Beau smiled. “You sound a bit fearful. What’s a matter son? You afraid your staring at your future.”

The fire breather took out his gun and shot Beau in the chest. The bullet knocked Beau back in his seat. Beau hissed. “Son of bitch that hurt.” He gasped out and spat blood on the floor. He smiled at the Fire breather. “You must be the mercenary of the group.”

“Beau! What the fuck happened? You son of a bitch.” E said moving out of her chair and fell to the floor. “Damn it. Damn it.” She pounded her fists on the floor. “What the fuck is happening? Tell me!”

“I’m fine. Calm down. Sit down and don’t get up again.”

“Mr. Lucas. Could you explain the situation with you and your friend’s mutations.” Major Benjamin asked.

Beau pulled himself up with one arm. “The fall out of the alien’s radiation damaged our bodies in different ways. I-I died the first day and was brought back barely in this form with no legs or ability to barely function without the powers. Even then I’m limited to the time I have to spend using the powers. I’m in consent pain from using the radiation to form legs and two weeks ago I lost fifty percent ability in my right arm.

My sister behind me lost her sight and some movement functions after the blast. She can use the radiation to see blurry images of individuals forms but she can’t see in 20/20 or anything near that vision. She’s blind. It’s common for the Supers hit hardest in the hell zone to have handicapped abilities.” Beau said and looked at the fire breather. “Where you in the city when the alien landed on us?”

The fire breath frowned. He said nothing. Beau nodded though.

“You have side effects to then. You either don’t know about them or your covering them up. It’s no use living that way. Reality is still reality.” Beau said.

“What side effects does Lightning Rider have then?” Major Benjamin asked. “He seems to have more stability then you and the-“

“He’s dying.” Beau said bluntly. “Rider will be dead in less then five years because of the radiation and heart failure. He’s on borrowed time. So he has to make the most of his time before he goes. All of the people the president had on the podium have side effects of some kind that will shorten our life spans. Major. Is there a cure or some type of hospital care we can get in jail or whatever place your taking us to.”

“Stop lying to them.” E said. “There is nothing wrong with eh.” E stopped talking because she went into a coughing fit that lasted several minutes until she stopped to catch her breath slowly. “Damn it.”

Beau stared at Major Benjamin. “Is there any way you can help us? We’re willing to go to prison or do whatever service you need us to do. But, we would like some medical assistance. We’ve been surviving and waiting months for the government to let us the hell out of here so we can get treatment of some kind.. We can’t go on like this. This like a slow fucking painful death for most us.” He said.

Major Benjamin shook his head. “I’m sorry son but I can’t guarantee anything right now. We’ll take you in and I’ll talk to my supervisors for you and your friend. Once they see how serious your situation is something will have to be done. One last question before we go. What about the tunnels?”

Beau shrugged shaking his head. “We searched them and made contact with people left down there. Anything above sub ground level is dangerous enough. You go below and it’s a different world with even more deadly mutations. They die like flies down there. They want to be left alone to suffer quietly. You won’t be able to open the subway system again right now if not a hundred years from now. Can you please take us away from this place?”

Major Benjamin straightened and nodded to his people who put their weapons down. “Are you ready to leave?”

Beau snorted in laughter. “Sir. I’ve been ready to leave this prison island five months ago. If they put me in a prison hole it will be better then being in a place I’ve seen my friends die in my arms from radiation poisoning. Let’s go.”

Beau woke as he was being wheeled down a white hall way. He looked around but E was gone. He was alone. He looked behind to see a muscled guard in grey uniform pushing down the hall way toward a black door with the letters BT on it.

Beau noticed a few things. 1) The pain his legs was down to low ache. He could hear whispers behind the other closed doors to his left and right. 2) There was a strange buzzing sound coming from the florescent lights above his head. It hurt his ears to hear and made the hair on his arms stand up at attention. The last and most important thing he noticed a part of him was missing. His powers were gone. But something was off about it. He still felt it. Something of that power an echo of some kind was in his mind.

He was quiet as he neared the door and it slide open to reveal a office room with computer workstation and a single sized bed on the floor to the near wall. It was small space.

The wheeled him inside and then placed a black folder in his lap. Beau picked up and opened it to see a set of projects he would be assigned to finish for the current month for a series of weapons and technical advancements to weapon systems.

Beau knew he could get them done by the end of the month. He just wondered if he could get away with imputing melfunctions into the medels without them noticing.

“You can’t!” The guard answered hearing his thoughts.

Beau didn’t look up. “Do you know anything about weapon designs or have a degree in engineering?”

“No. But I can read your mind from a mile away and know when your planning on bullshiting the normals. I would ordered to terminate you.”

Beau nodded. “Well then sense you can’t help me with my work you take your fat ass out of my cell so I can get to work. Like you said you don’t need to be in my way to read my mind so get the fuck on bitch.”

The guard was quiet but then turned and left the room. The door slid closed and Beau heard a loud audible heavy lock fall in place on the door.

Blue Technomancer CHAPTER 19

Beau and Jay exited the tunnels near the spot they had come in. He looked back once while Jay walked ahead to where Angel, E and Rider were waiting for them.

The two mutants tall black cloaked that had led him the way bowed to him. Beau nodded to them.

“Stay out of trouble guys.” He said and turned to walk toward his friends. E was studying him while Rider glared at him.

“What the fuck did you do?” Rider asked.

Beau shrugged. “Did you find the targets?”

True snorted. “We found shit and dick all. Their hide outs were blown the fuck up. It will take us months to dig em out. How the fuck did you do it?”

Again Beau shrugged. “I did what needed to be done. They’re not around so-“

“What the fuck about Vlad’s kids?” Rider demanded. “We weren’t supposed to touch them.”

Beau shook his head. “I didn’t kill anybody. Least of all Vlad’s kids. Your assuming a lot buddy. E your quiet what’s on your mind?”

E stepped forward. “What have you done? Your not a smart man. What’s the game, hero?”

Beau shook his head. “I’m not a hero and there is no plan. I did what needed to be done. Anything else that happens next is up in the air. Follow my lead from on.” He said and turned to Rider.

Rider was frowning at him. “Beau. What’s going on? Did you kill those kids?”

“You know the answer to that question if you know me. If they ask you who did it. Tell them it was me and you tried to stop me but I tricked you and did it on my own. Do you understand?” He said.

Rider shook his head. “I don’t. Why do you want me to lie. I won’t lie. Your a good man. You would never do that. Why are you doing this?” He said.

“Your so stupid.” E said spat out at Rider.

Rider turned and glared at her. “What?!” He said.

“He’s trying to protect you. To keep you safe. All you have to do is-” E said.

“I won’t lie! I know what will happen if I do it. They’ll lock him up or worse. Beau isn’t a murder and I won’t say otherwise for reason and not to protect my own ass.” Rider said.

E looked at Beau. She froze. “They’re coming for you tomorrow aren’t they?” She said.

Beau shook his head. “US. They’re coming for us tomorrow. I thought I might as well give em a reason. After tomorrow night. I don’t know what will happen.”

Rider shook his head. “No. No. That’s not right.”

“It is what it is. They’ll offer you a job. You need to take it and work it until they let me go. Otherwise they’ll kill me.” Beau said.

“Damn you. It’s not going down like this. It’s not supposed to.” Rider said almost to himself.

“So you’ll do it then.” Beau said. “Your a hero. My hero at least. You got to keep us alive. So you have to work with them.” He said.

“Damn it. It wasn’t supposed to go down like this.” Rider said almost in tears.

Angel smiled and looked at Beau snd her smile froze in place. “Beau. You-“

“Your father got a job in Baltimore after the blockade comes down you’ll be moving there.” Beau said. “It’s going to be new start. Remember your promise.” He said.

Angel could only stared at him but she nodded her head slowly. “Yes. I remember my promise.” She said.

Beau watched from the sidelines while Rider and Artemus were offered job offers by the President and generals. “I’m couple days late. But I think it’s going to go down in a few hours.” Beau said.

“What the hell are you going to do Beau?” True Steel asked.

Beau shook his head. “Don’t worry about me True. I’m good.” He said.

“Is this going to be okay? Rider a mean joining them. I don’t trust it. I don’t like it even more with the way they just snubbed you off and ignored you and what you did for them.” True Steel asked him.

Beau glanced at E. She glared at Rider’s profile. “We’re not giving him to them. He’s just on loan. Eventually they cut him loose.” He said.

E finally looked at Beau. “On loan until what? He gets bored of being a hero?” He said.

Beau stared at her. “Until we find a damn a cure for him or before he becomes an issue for them. Until then we’ve got work to do. True.” He said.

“What do you need me to do?” True asked.

“Watch out for him for me. I won’t be around for some time.” Beau said and looked around toward the people getting ready to head out of the city and he nodded to Jay and Freya Newton.

He walked quickly over toward them. Angel sat in the backseat of a van not looking at Beau. He held out his hand to Jay. “I’m going to miss you Brother and your family. Thank you for all you did. I won’t forget it.” He said.

Jay took his hand in a firm shake. “Thank you Mr. Techno. We’re grateful to you for all you’ve done to keep us alive. We won’t ever forget you. Angel. Well she’s still a bit sore about us moving to Baltimore but-“

“Call me Beau. She’ll understand as she gets older.” Beau said. “You got to look out for your best interests and with most of the Blues migrating there you’ll have support and people that look like you watching your back.”

Jay seemed to relax for some reason and let go of his hand. “I couldn’t have said it more. Do you intend on joining the Supers as we move there?” He asked.

Beau shook his head. “No. I got business to finish up here and then I’m retiring from the public life. I’ll leave the heroic work to Rider. He has the face and temperament for it.” He said.

The window to the car opened. Angel looked at him. “Come with us.” She said.

Beau shook his head. “No. It’s time I went a little quiet for a bit and save you some nightmares. I want you to think about going to school and getting a degree in something useful. I’ll be alright.” He said.

Angel shook her head. “No you won’t. Mr. Rider is gone. Doctor E is gone to. Once I’m gone you’ll lose it.” She said.

Beau chuckled. “Maybe. But it’s time we parted for some time. We can’t all be together anymore. I’ll see you.” He said turning away and walking back to E’s office.

“Beau. Beau. Don’t go. It’s-” She said.

“Don’t worry so much.” Beau said and waved her off. He entered the office. It was filled with two squads and E sat at the back drinking a glass of wine.

Beau walked over calmly grabbed his wheelchair and sat down. His legs fell away turning to metal pieces on the floor. He sighed feeling relief after days of pain from walking.

“Fucking shit. That’s better.” He said.

E poured him a glass of wine and tried to hand it to him but his hand shook. She held it and put it to his lips giving him a sip and he nodded his thanks as she took it away.

Beau turned to the major Benjamin. “Major. What’s the fuss about?” He said in a tired voice.

The Major frowned. “If you try to make a weapon we will have to-“

Beau nodded. “I know. I know. No chance of that for a week if ever again. I’m out of energy but it will to keep the pain back. But, please get to the reason your here.”

Major Benjamin grimaced Beau’s arm fell limp at his side. “What’s happening to you? You look like you need a doctor son. Your falling apart.” He said with concern in his voice but he still had his hand on his pistol as he stared at him and E.

Beau shook his head. “I’m not falling apart. This is my normal state. Nothing for you to worry about. My arm is healing slowly.” He said.

“Your being overally dramatic.” E said and then blinked and grimaced. “Damn it.”

The squad frowned drawing their guns. Beau shook his head. “She’s just lost her vision for a bit. Major Benjamin. Please get to the point.” He said.

“We’re here to tie up loss ends. You need to come with us.” Major Benjamin said.

“Alright. We’ll talk about it and answer whatever questions you got to give us. We’re ready to leave afterward to go and do whatever your demand for us to do.” Beau said.

“I’m not going-” E said and then started coughing.

“Be quiet.” Beau told her. “You can’t even see a damn thing in front of your face. They got the guns and we can’t do anything about it and you need help. You can’t go on like this.” Beau said.

“Damn it.” E cursed as her gaze was unfocused and she glared at nothing.

Beau turned to the Major. “We’re ready to turn ourselves in to answer for whatever crimes you said we committed and face the punishments. Just please get us the hell out of here.” He said.

Blue Technomancer CHAPTER 18

Beau and Jay traveled in to the tunnel not meeting anyone for half an hour and then darkness took them under. The next time they awoke they were in cell of cobbled stones around them. Their hands weren’t tied. Beau but their weapons and gear was gone. They wondered what the hell was going on and strange feeling or forced that kept them quiet and sitting on the floor for hours and then once again darkness took them under.

Beau and Jay sat at the feet of the giant snapping turtle who sat against his cell wall. He stared down them with rye smile on his thick full lips.

Beau frowned. “Your not human are you?” He said.

The larger humanoid turtle shook his head. “No. I was once different but like you I was changed. They call me the Sage. I am the only one of my kind down here though I expect my kind have been mutated in other parts of the human surface world. They call you the Techno wizard though Beau Lucas would be a more correct name for what you do. But, that is not your name. You are Beau Lucas. A warrior. A inventor. You came to our realm to destroy my kind.”

Beau frowned at him. “You sure about that last part.” He said.

Turtle paused and chuckled. “I see your point. I would not be your prey you would kill or hunt. But, my tribe is a mixed one. So I see a kill of one as a kill of myself.” He said.

Jay stared at him. “So you can read our thoughts?”

The turtle nodded his head slowly.

Beau studied him. “How many mutant animal humanoids are there down here?” He asked.

“Enough and it is not the question you wish to ask but I answered your unspoken question. You can not defeat us. This is our home and where we wish to be left alone to be what we are.” He said.

Beau smiled. “It’s not mind reading. You just know how to understand our thought process and predict what we might say. Have you learned how to read and taught some of the others?” He said

The Sage nodded. “Are you like me. Answers easily come to your mind comes that are reasonable. Why have you come? You want something.” He said.

Beau nodded. “Yes. I have questions about the powers and my condition.” He said.

The turtle nodded grimacing at him. “Your mind is far more valuable then your fake legs or toys. Powers. As you call them are risky at best to long health and the mind.”

“I have a daughter that can see the future.” Jay said. “What will her powers do to her mind?”

“No one can see the future.. What outcomes does she see and does she have a mate?” The mutant asked.

“She doesn’t have a mate? She’s sixteen. She can see outcomes of the people around her.” Jay said.

“The people around her or the people that are her tribe?” He asked.

Jay frowned at his question. “The people around her that matter to her.” He said.

The giant turtle looked at Beau. “You are silent. Is there something you wish to add?” He asked Beau.

“His daughter can also loan her power over to other people to see their possible outcomes.” Beau said carefully.

Jay frowned at him but was silent. The turtle nodded. “She will be in danger from consent use and will need to learn to control over her ability. Her mate will also need to learn control because he might draw to much energy from her over time.” He said pointedly to Beau.

“She doesn’t have any mate or boyfriend or anything.” Jay and looked at Beau.

The turtle was silent. The silence lasted. Jay finally looked at the Sage. “Why do you say she has a mate?” He asked.

“All mutants. Whether human mutants or mutant humanoid develop pair bonding with similar kind. It is normal and our natures gravitate to similar like minded equal to balance us. There is no exception. This is the gift the travel gave to us along with her powers.” He said.

Beau frowned at him. “Who is this travelor?” He asked.

The Sage stared at him. “The creature that came to our planet to die and granted us a new birth with her powers being imputed to us after her death.” The Sage said.

“What the hell is he talking about?” Jay asked.

Beau shook his head staring at the giant Mutant. “It doesn’t matter. What matters is Angel. Sage is this mate thing for everyone mutant like me and Jay as well for your kind?” Beau asked.

The Sage nodded. “Yes. No exceptions.” He said.

“No expections?! What about yourself?” Jay excused.

The Sage stared at him. “There is no exception.” He said then turned to Beau. “Now. Beau, what will you tell the surface leaders?”

“I’m up for any ideas that will not get me or my friends killed. I’ve seen to many outcomes already to know I need advice.” Beau said.

Jay glared at him. Beau looked back at him and Jay flinched back. “We’ll talk about this later. Right now.” He said and looked at the Sage. “You were a bit right about the reason I came to see you but you answered my real question. Thank you. You’ve saved a young girl’s life.”

The Sage was quiet and then he nodded his head. “You have chosen your course wisely this time then?” He said and a knowing voice.

Beau shrugged. “I don’t know but I can at least live with this course better then I could with the other course or courses I saw myself going down.” He said.

The Sage nodded his head head. “The normals will come for you in a few hours. Do you wish me to remove the memories you have of communicating with your brother and planning his escape.” He asked.

Beau started to nod but then he stopped. “No. I think. I’m going to need the memories for however long I survive but can you make it possible for me not to have my mind hacked by Supers with the ability.” He asked.

The Sage sighed. “It will bring you much pain to do so.” He said.

Beau smiled. “I’m used to pain. I’ll come up with a story to give the normals to keep them away from getting into the underground. I’m ready.” He said.

The giant mutant sighed and then placed his hand on Beau’s head. Beau closed his eyes and as a storm of pain and power raced through his body. He smiled taking the pain quietly as his mind began to work on a plan for what he would do when he got out of the tunnels and met the normals in the next few hours.

Blue Technomancer CHAPTER 17

Beau shook Artemus awake while the others slept in the commanders trailer. She frowned at him until he handed her something into her hand. She looked at the thick bundle of dollars her hands. He felt her freeze and stared at him.

“What you doing?” She asked.

“My number has come up. Artemus. I’m going down into the tunnels to try and clear it out if I survive I’m going to be taken by the government, experimented on and then I’ll die.” He said and stared at her.

Artemus frowned at him waiting for the joke. Beau stared at her. She shook her head. “What are you doing?” She asked him.

Beau smiled. “I like you. I like you a lot. I wanted you to know that. I need you to keep yourself safe and don’t trust the government. Always be on your guard and stay alive and have a happy life. It was a pleasure working and admiring your lovely body.” He said.

“I’m not going to have sex with you.” She said.

Beau grinned. “Take care of yourself.” He said and got up. She started to get up but he waved her back down. “Stay. Remember what I said. Take care of yourself. It’s going to be an interesting day.” He said with grin and disappeared.

Five hours later….

Beau stood outside of a tunnel entrance near Central park. He watched the time on his digital watch. When it hit 6:55 a.m. three explosion were set off in locations around the city. His cellphone went off in his pocket. He got it out and answered it.

“Are you out?” He asked.

“Yes.” Vlad said.

“This is goodbye. Take care of your family.” He said.

“It’s not to late. You can join us. I have a new plan. I could use your help. You can come with us now. You don’t have to sacrifice yourself like this.” Vlad said.

“I can’t go. I have to find out what’s in the tunnels and I need to get answers for my friend’s condition before they get me. But, something might get me in the tunnel. I was serious. Your smarter then me. They won’t stop. You have to figure out how to deal with what’s coming. After today your on your own. I left plans with Han and a present in the thumb drive to help you out with your business. E might live through this shit. Hit her up for business. I got to go.” Beau said.

“You ever wonder why Angel can loan her power of vision through you?” Vlad asked.

“I’m not special and I don’t care about the reason. I never should have survived that day the alien crashed down on us brother. I realized that now. You were right to not trust them.” Beau said and turned as he saw Angel and her father walking toward him. “Take care of your kids. Children need their fathers.” Beau said

“If you survive….I’ll have a job for you if you want it.” Vlad said.

“That’s not going to happen. Thanks for the offer. Goodbye brother.” Beau said ended the call.

Beau turned to them. “Hey…so what are you two doing here?” He asked.

“Take my Dad with you.” Angel said.

Beau folded his arms. “Angel. I thought we agreed that you should hold back on using your powers so much. You had to sleep for several hours after the last vision you gave me.” He said.

Angel grimaced. “My Dad is a hunter. He’ll find or lead you to the person or persons that can help you figure out what to do.”

Beau frowned at her. “If I take your father with me. You have to promise me something.” He said.

Angel frowned but nodded her head. “Anything name it.” She said.

Beau shook his head. “Not now. Later. When your father and I get back you have to agree to whatever I ask you.” He said.

Angel stared at him. “You need me I know what happens to you in five years.” She said.

Beau stared at her. “It’s not your job to protect me. Promise me or I walk in there alone.” He said.

“Who were you talking to?” Angel asked.

“My brother. He’s leaving the city before the government comes in. I was wishing him luck with his new business venture.” Beau said.

“I promise.” She said finally after several minutes of silence.

Beau studied her face. “That easy. You shouldn’t try to trick me. I’ve played the time travel game. I planned to win.”

Angel smiled. It was feminine and showed her budding maturity. “I’ll see you later Beau. Take care of my Dad.” She said before turning walking away.

Beau turned his back on her to avoid looking at her any longer. “I need to find someone in there to help me figure out what’s wrong with Angel.” He said.

“Wait. What’s wrong with my daughter?” Jay said.

“She’s dying. Her powers are killing her. I need you to find me someone in there that can us how to stop it.” Beau said.

“How do you know any of this? Your a….E told you didn’t she.” She said.

“Yes and no. Another boy like Angel told me what was wrong with Angel and about a person in the tunnel that might be able to help her. I asked E if it was true about Angel’s sickness. She told me it was true.” I said.

Jay stepped forward without a word and started inside.

Blue Technomancer CHAPTER 16

Beau put his hand to Vlad’s mouth. Vlad stilled and then opened his eyes slowly. Beau stared at him behind his dark blue helmet.

“Why does the government want you dead?” He asked Vlad calmly.

Vlad stared back as Beau removed his gloved hand from his lips.

“They tried to hire me to kill Rider and your lot of goodies. I told them to shove it. I’m guessing they hired you well let’s-“

“Five days from now all my friends die and they take all your kids into the government foster care. Though. Honestly it’s more indoctrination into their private supers army.” He said and stared at Vlad. “Do you understand what I’m telling you.” He asked.

Vlad stared at him. “You have a seer?”

Beau shook his head. “One of my people is. She showed me what’s going to happened if we don’t change it now.” He said.

Vlad stared at Beau. “I’m listening go on.” He said.

“You already knew that. They sent us several targets. In the first timeline, I lost True Steel, Artemus. You died and your oldest son went down with you. They already have supers in their army really strong. One of them burned me. They’re coming in five days to end the blockade and possibly wipe us all out. Can you take on all of them? Do you have the men and weapons? How many of your own men can you trust not to turn on you?” Beau said.

Vlad stared at him. “We are not on the same team. We are enemies. ” He said.

Beau shook his head. “Wrong. We are brothers. We suffered pain and loss. We did our best to hold our people together and protect what we value. But, if I wanted you dead I would have shot you when you do your daily morning Yoga on the roof. I have no wish to kill you or your people. Your not the worse asshole I’ve had to deal with here for the last six months. Your too civilized. You want to believe there is a reasonable way to deal with them. You can’t fight them in this position. You’ll only get your children killed or taken by them. I had to do some thinking about it. I realized something though. A couple of issues are consistent in every timeline. Both of us die. Both of us lose and something else. Don’t you get it, yet?” He said.

Vlad said nothing he just waited. “Why don’t you tell me what I’m missing assshole?” He said.

“They don’t want us. They want the children and my inventions. They want your children. It’s the only thing that makes sense. I lose my people. Everything. You lose your children. Everything important to you. It’s that simple. Divide and conquer. They see what we’re doing as creating a mutant army to fight the government. It’s all bullshit though to hide the simple truth.”

Vlad nodded. “We have power. That power is a threat to them. It’s why I’m negotiating with them if you-“

“I thought about that. Rider wouldn’t go along with it and he’d only end up getting killed by the government he still believes in. Besides that we can’t trust them. They want us dead. It’s simple. The only way to cure them of that belief is to make ourselves appear weaker then we are or avoid a fight with them out right until we’re on equal footing. Your smart. You can figure out a way but you need time, resources. I don’t have money but I do have weapon designs and other inventions I’ve made and skills that come in handy for you to build something to protect your children and people like us from being hunted down like dogs. I can help you but I got a price.” Beau said.

Vlad frowned at him. “What are you asking me to do?” He said.

“Take your children and leave the city. Right now!” Beau said simple. “I’ve seen every way this can go down. There is no way out for me. I can save some of my people but not all from what’s coming. But, I thought of something. You and your children have one way out though. Retreat and find a better position to defend yourself and children. They’re going to get us. There is no way around it. But, your smart if you can get out and find some way to protect the children then they’ll be free at least to have a better future then the both of us. If you make out better then I imagine then look me up if I’m alive. I’m come work for you. Either way Rider and the others are coming to attack you today in the morning.. I’ll leave it to you on how to handle the situation brother.” Beau said.

Beau got up and walked to the door. Vlad got up. His son was at the door and moved aside to let him pass.

Vlad waved Han forward. “What did you tell him?” He asked.

Han shook his head. “Nothing. He told me what happened in possible timelines. He told me what was at stake if we didn’t act fast.” He said.

Vlad began to walk his bedroom floor while his son was quiet. “Were you waiting for him?” He said.

“Yes.” Han said.

Vlad flinched. “Did he know that?”

“No.” Han said.

Vlad stopped and finally looked at his son. “What did you see?” He asked.

Han stared at his father. “They want Jenna for their army the others will be cast aside. They used Mr. Lucas to kill you and I die with you.”

“What happens to Technomancer!” Vlad asked.

Han shook his head. “They use up Mr. Lucas until he dies on a lab table or he goes insane in white padded cell because he couldn’t save any of us in the end. He’s not going to escape what’s coming dad and they want him the most. The Normals are going to break him and kill him. He knows it. He gave me his inventions and plans in a thumb drive though. What do you want to do?” He said.

Vlad held his hand. “Get your siblings ready. We are leaving now. None of what you have seen will take place. None of it. I will not allow it. I’m not giving up on negotiating with U.S. government. Do you hear me?” He said.

Han stared at him. “Dad. It’s over. Their president hates us. She will not stop until we’re all dead dad. I don’t think even Mr. Lucas’ plan is going to work to save us from what’s coming when the most powerful human leader in the world wants to either use us or exterminate us from the face of the earth.” He said.

“Stop it. Go do as I say. Get you siblings ready. We’re leaving hell hole now.” Vlad commanded. “Listen to me. Nothing has happened yet. We will decide our own fates. Go.” He said.

Blue Technomancer CHAPTER 15

Beau jerked awake and away from Angel. He fell to the floor and throw up violently into a waste bin near him. Everyone in the room all stared at him. E, Rider and the rest of the crew and the still image of Major Benjamin on the projected screen.

Holy shit. Beau felt like he had been thrown back in time to before everything in his world had gone to shit a second time. How the fuck was he going to deal with living through the shit storm twice again.

E stared at him. “Who died with you?” She asked.

Beau took Rider’s face in his hands. Rider frowned at him and stared to pull away and noticed Beau crying.

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry.” Beau kept repeating. He couldn’t shake the image of Rider’s dead body or the guilt that still stabbed at his heart.

Rider sighed and gentle removed Beau’s hands from him. “I’m alive. It was just a nightmare. Everything is fine.”

Beau shook his head looking back at Angel to see her dropping off asleep. She was alive but for how long? “No it isn’t. Nothing is fine. It’s all fucked up. I was wrong. They were all soldiers and mercenaries. They had one of our own with them. Fucker burned me with fire and lightning from his mouth.”

Rider shook his head. “That’s makes no fucking sense. They just gave us fucking all they asked us to do is take out one last monster in the city and the blockade is over and they would give us all positions.”

E shook her head. “You and the others were offered those positions. Not me or Techno. They want us dead for some reason.”

“What the fuck do we do?”

E stared at him. “There is no “we” here John. The government has picked you and the others to run the face of whatever political game their running. I wasn’t invited. I’m running. Beau what are you going to do?”

“He said there were to many lose ends to clear up before things could get back to normal. He also said we didn’t live up to our end on the deal.” Beau said.

E frowned at him. “You need to be thinking about your fucking life instead-“

“We have five days until they end the block aid.” Beau said. “It’s the one opportunity for us to get our people out of this city. We promised the government we would have the city cleared of any dangerous violent threats. It’s the promise we made for our people to get a chance for them to get out and for things to return to normal.” Beau said.

“What fuck does….shit. Shit.” E cursed violent. She glared at Rider. “What fucking monster did you leave alive?”

Rider shook his head. “I didn’t leave any monsters alive. We took out the last monsters two months. The fucking city is cleared.”

“We missed one then.” Beau said. “Between all of us there had to be someone we let go or some moment we…ah shit.” Beau said. “Who cleared out the subway?”

No one answered. E closed her eyes. “None of you cleared out the tunnels. If there are any monsters down there we’re all screwed and I’m dead.” She said.

Rider shook his head. “We still have time. We’ll head down the subway tunnels and start clearing them out and Beau can take the crew and take out Vlad and his crew.”

“In five fucking days. It won’t be possible to clear out the subways in time to do both.” E said. “I need to think.” She said.

Beau shook his head. Everything was clear to him now. “I know what to do. Rider you and the others take out the others. The military will back you up. I’m taking a small unit down to the subways and hunting for whatever else is down there. No. Don’t fight me on it. You lead them in and handle Vlad.” He said.

E studied him silently. She said nothing. Beau knew if anyone had an idea what he had planned today she did but she was also smart enough no say anything about it. “Beau. Whatever you’re planning on doing you need to do it fast. We’re already running low on time as is to keep alive.” She said.

Beau smiled and nodded. “Tomorrow. I’m going to give the people holding us here a reason to finally let us out and then I’ll done. Just watch me.” He said and walked out of the room.

Blue Technomancer CHAPTER 14

A loud explosion in the night awoke Beau from his sleep. He looked around the room for Rider. Rider’s cot was empty but for a piece of paper.

He got up quickly going over and taking the piece of paper. It was a short message.

Beau felt a weird feeling. He rushed out of their tent and hurried out to where a small crowd of their people were gathering around a smoking area.

He saw the body. Rider was black. Burned to near ash.

There was complete silence and then a loud wailing came from someone. Beau didn’t look at E as she went crazy. Crying out from her soul in pain.

Beau just stared at his friend. His brother. He had failed him. He had fought hard and tried his best to avoid this day from happening and it still happened. E had been right. She had warned him Rider was close to losing it. She had begged him to turn down the job.

First Angel and now Rider.

“Fucking hell.” He said finally.

E roared fighting her way out of the people holding her and went at him beating him with her hands and then trying to choak him finally until he gathered her in his arms. She roared curses at him still trying to fight him as he cried.

“I told you! I told you!” E said in a bitter voice.

Beau said nothing as he stared at his friend on the ground. He felt emptied out of all the hope and energy.

……

Beau shook himself out of his day dreams of Rider’s death a day ago to focus back on the conversation between him and Major Benjamin on Skype.

“Lucas. I know your having a tough time right now but you need to get your head on straight. You can not turn down this job offer. I’m sorry about your friend but you really need to consider your own future.”

Beau shook his head. “I’m out. I can’t abandon my people right now.” He said. “Rider’s death….it hit everyone here hard. We need time to-“

“You are all out of time. Vlad’s children are to be taken in to military trusted hands and your people and their children will be shipped to Baltimore within the hour.”

Beau stared at Major Benjamin. “Vlad’s kids we’re given into my protection. I promised him before I killed him that they would raised among his own people. My people.”

“The children are wards of the state and American citizens as are your people. The military will be there with in the hour to take them all. Lucas. Don’t think about doing anything stupid. You-“

Beau turned off the feed and fell down in to a seat. His legs hurt and he couldn’t think beyond the consent pain he was in. It was to much. He was losing to much all at once and now Vlad’s children would be under the control of the government.

“You can’t fight them.” E said behind him.

He couldn’t look up at her. The shame and guilt he felt was to much. “Why didn’t you tell him?”

E sat down and felt around blindly for something on her desk. Beau stared at her. “What the fuck is wrong with you? It’s not that dark in here.”

E shook her head. “I didn’t love Rider.”

“Bullshit.” Beau spat.

“I didn’t love him.” E repeated. “Rider belonged to me. We fit one another. He just wasn’t able to accept it. He only just lost his wife six months ago. You lost. Is this a dream?”

Beau looked up at her as she aimed a glock at his face. “Yes.”

“Good.” She said before firing the gun in his face.

Beau and E sat down in her hospital office drinking wine alone after Rider’s funeral. A flash of light brightened the room and then several government agents and mercenaries appeared in the room. All armored and weapons at the ready aimed at them. Beau looked at the leader in the room.

“Sir. What’s this about?”

The man frowned at him. “Set your weapon down on the table. We came here to talk.”

“Okay. What’s this about, Major Benjamin?”

“You and Doctor E need to come along with us to a secure location. You are to be detained for your protection.”

“I’m not going anywhere with you without a warrant.” E said.

“You didn’t answer my question Major. I want to speak to your commanding officer.” Beau said.

“It’s simple son. To many lose ends have to be cleaned up before things can get back to normal on the Surface. Sorry but you and the doctor are the ones that didn’t keep your promises and handled your end of the bargain. You have information we need. The others have already fallen in line and disbanded your army here.”

Beau flinched back. “Army?! Sir. We don’t have an army here. We’re just survivors. We’ve been waiting six months to get out of this city and we’ve been protecting the folk here so they could get out finally in one piece.”

Major Benjamin shook his head. “The president and the military don’t see it that way. Besides the fact you didn’t come good with your end of the deal you made with the government you got to much power in your own right and influence with the people here. Your the reason some of them are staying just to look out for you.. Are you coming with us or not.”

Beau looked at E. She shook her head. Beau sighed and looked back. “We’re staying here.” He said.

The soldiers unloaded on them instantly. Killing E behind him and taking him down to the ground and hail storm of bullets until one of the mercenaries shot him with a blast of fire and lightning from his mouth.

Beau stared feeling his body die and then finally. He felt Angel let go his hand and release him from the hell.

Experimenting with Loadouts in COD mobile

I hit legendary status in call of duty mobile a couple of weeks back. Now I’m working toward a goal of earning a legendary weapon in the following season and figuring out a schedule for live streaming and pre-recorded videos.

This week I’m working on trying to find a load out that works best for Search and Destroy & team Destroy.

Search & Destroy loadout: Zeke

My favorite pistol in COD MOBILE is the MW11. I love firing it and taking on multiple enemies at once or at a time. I have a skill sheet skill of katana like mode, trip bomb and smoke bomb.

I have the MK2 rifle as my primary weapon and I like how it fires and it’s very fun to roll with.

The MK2 is modified to be a one shot weapon and I use it as a means to take out enemies at a distance though I am not the best at it. I’m working on becoming the better.

For every other mode like Front line or as a go too. I have snow.

I have the EM2 as my primary weapon it fires good but I run out bullets to soon for me. I have it designed for a run and gun situation and hit shots from a distance.

Prize fighter gloves are my second best mastered tool. I am a rush in fighter. I put the pressure on with this set up.

EM2 is beginning to work on me as a favorite. I used it in Battle Royale mode and find it to be reliable and pin point for head shots at a good firing rate.

This loadout is for when I’m going in to figure out the strategies of my opponents and guarding my team by getting the enemy to focus on me while my team mates rack up the points from the back end.

I find myself being more a asist player but when the score is low I tend to put in the rush.

Blue Technomancer CHAPTER 13

“Shit. Angel. Let me out me out of the dream baby girl. Let me out.” Beau yelled out. He got no response.

Beau ran over to the side of the building and jumped off the side only to land on the roof again. A chill went down his spine. Angel was forcing him to stay in the dream.

“Angel. Let go of my hand. Angel let go right now.” He said.

Nothing. The dream still held. Damn it he would have to see this one through to the end point.

Beau felt a sense of vertigo as he blinked and realized he stood on a platform with Rider and three other blue mutant New Yorkers as the President took the podium and addressed a small crowd of the Blues and a few normal humans. He was having another spell because of the pain in his legs and injured arm. Luckily that was over.

He smiled along with the others standing with him. He looked at the president.

“It’s been a long hard road for us as Americans and earthlings. But, today marks a new stage in our course correct to get back to the business of living.”

Beau half listened. It was all the show part.

They had made it. It had taken his friends and people six months of work but they had bartered a deal with the U. S. Government to get their people out by the reopening of New York City to the outside world.

His eyes looked out out over the small crowd of his friends and people he had grown to know as his family. One person was missing and one seat left empty between Jay and Freya Newton.

Angel.

Beau blinked back the tears and tried not to think of her. She should be here. She would have been here if he had made the choice to save her while he could have. Jay and Freya glared at him in animosity and hatred.

He had had no choice. It had been for greater good of them all. That he had chosen to take out Vlad and his son then….

Beau realized what he thought and looked back over his memory from a few days before….

What the fuck?

Beau kicked opened the door and fired his assault shotgun into the room killing Vlad, his children and wives. He had taken fired once executing Vlad dropped his weapon and raced up stairs to the roof with the gang and Vlad’s sons firing rounds into his back as he barely made it to the roof and dove off into the waiting arms of Rider who was floating in the air waiting to pick him.

The memory hit Beau like a shot gun shot to the face and left him shaking at the strong memory of it. He remembered the violence and smell of blood and rush of violence he felt. The crash afterward had left him wanted to vomit afterward.

No. No.

Beau shook his head he couldn’t have done that he wouldn’t have. That was going to far. He blinked tried to replay or remember the day better in the dream. It only got worse.

First it was Vlad and his family then it was Vlad, his family and Rider. Beau stopped looking back and realized it was no good.

When the fuck was this nightmare going to end?

Major Benjamin clapped Beau’s shoulder. Beau blinked up at the older man. “Sir. I’m sorry you were saying.” He asked.

Major Benjamin smiled. “I’m just glad to hear your joining up with my unit on the Supers West division. I’ll be making you team leader.” He said.

Beau nodded but frowned. “I thought Rider would be a natural-“

“No. Rider is a bit of wild card. We’ve already given him a temporary contract for hire to handle our dangerous situation.”

Beau blinked and started to speak but E caught his arm and jerked him away from the Major.

“Excuse me. Major. I’ll be right back.”

Major Benjamin grinned but nodded. “Take your time.”

Beau jerked his gaze to her E. “What the fuck is wrong with you?” He said.

“You need to talk to Rider. He’s worrying me. He’s to fine with all these changes.” E said tightly.

“He hasn’t said anything to me yet. He’s going to be working for the government again freelance but he’ll get some work to do.”

“You need to reconsider the government’s offer. Rider and our people need you around. Have you heard of the ghettos they have lined up for us. Their in Baltimore’s high crime areas.” E said.

Beau grimaced but nodded. “I know. We’ll make it work. I’m not abandoning our people. I need to take this job to us a high position in the government to help them.” He said.

“Your acting delusional. Talk to Rider and keep an eye on him tonight. He has to be watched. Losing True Steel and Artemis really as been affecting him a lot lately. He needs you. Promise you’ll watch him.” E said.

“I promise. Nothing is going to happen to him. I’ll talk to him and reassure he’s still got us to back him up.” Beau said though kept wondering. When the in living hell would Angel let him out of the nightmare cycle of hell point possible futures he was in. None of this shit was real but Beau knew if he was seeing the possibilities of what the future could be then he was screwed.
