In this week’s episode we dive deep down in the world of all things weird and kind ah fucked up. The DOGE crew is on a quest. The mission is to bring the Federal U S government kicking and screaming into the 21st century. In other news I am casting bets that the federal government will fold over. Like blue haired sea beast crying out after falling on her fat ass in the year of our lord 2029.
Logan knew he had a shorter window then he wanted. He had to move fast. No. He had to learn to do what he needed to know.
“Did you hear me?” Trigger asked again.
Logan shrugged. “Hmm. I had dream of coming to a place like your world once. Today is my first day being here though. What do you need me to do first?” He asked.
Trigger sighed. “I need you to focus on the magical scent coming from me. When I call wind magic, focus on the flow of the magic. Try to mimic it or catch a hold it. Don’t worry if you don’t get it right away. We have several months to get you to a decent level. This is as best as I can explain it. I’m not proper wizard. What was the dream like?” He said.
Logan shrugged. “It was dream. A short dream that left me with a bad after taste in my mouth. Thought plenty of lessons worth the trouble of it. When your ready let’s try it out.” He said.
Logan stood in the fighting area facing Trigger who stood facing off against him. All around him the other people were getting training demonstrations and going through practice runs. Dining tables were being set up to the side and mats placed down for sitting. Dinner was expected to be served in hour or two.
In Logan’s mind he had the timing of the events that would go down tomorrow. Though he knew that those events were still up in air if everything would happened again like it did. The first death would be tomorrow. Slowly the others would come to understand what they’re true purpose was in being kidnapped from their home worlds.
After that Logan would need to move fast to learn what he needed in the library. Harold. No telling what that man would do.
Trigger began to move in a flowing way though it was a set of fighting moves. Logan’s hyper enhanced senses activated. The world around him became out of focus as he began to follow Trigger’s moves in the fighting ring. He noticed Trigger’s breathing pattern and copied it. He began to see the wind magic being summoned from the elements to surround Trigger’s body. The wind magic wrapped around Trigger’s body like blanket. The end result was like a force field of energy around him.
Logan vaguely noticed when that same magical force was around him. He took in the scent of it. It reminded him of a scent of beautiful woman wrapping her body around him. Ready to be taken to pleasure and to the edge of sanity. There was no better place to be for a man. He smiled and felt light on his feet and little high from the feeling.
Trigger stopped suddenly and then he sprang into a back flip. Logan copied moved in time and then they both ended up doing a hand stand on the ground. Trigger dropped to the sand with Logan quickly fell to his side as he followed Trigger to the ground.
The fighting area was quiet for several seconds. Until Logan laughed loudly as he stared up at the sky and clapped his hand. He rolled to his feet facing Trigger who was on his feet as well. He nodded his head to him. “Thank you. I think I got it.” He said.
Trigger bowed to him formally. “It was my honor.” He said.
Logan smiled. “I owe you a favor. Name it.” He said.
Trigger smiled but he shook his head. “Later. Much later. When I will tell you my favor when the time is right. Will you perfect what I taught you?” He said.
Logan wasn’t sure if he needed to but then he thought about how much time he had left. He needed away to use wind magic to his advantage to get what he wanted. He looked down at the sand around him in the fighting ring. He breathed in the wind magic and moved his hand against the sand turning it around until it lifted up. A hand touched his shoulder and he lost focus and the sand fell away.
Logan turned toward Darla to see her staring at him. She stared at him in concern. “Are you well?” She asked in that sexy voice he had come to find enchanting. He reached for her hips and called wind magic around her and used it to lift her up. Darla’s eyes widened as he lifted her over his head.
Darla was in the air her feet barely touching the ground. Logan grin at her. “I’m fine now. You are going to enjoy my new trick tonight.” He said with a wink.
Trigger laughed as he stared at Logan’s earnest face. He waved a hand at the glowing sword in Logan’s hand. “Teach you?! I don’t think there is much I can do to help you Mr. Logan of the Jones.” He said.
Logan shook his head. “I disagree. I want to learn how you learned to master wind magic. I’ll give you one wish for your trouble.” He said smoothly.
Trigger froze as his mouth was open and then he nodded his head. “We are agreed. One wish. At my time of choosing and you won’t be able too refuse me.” He said and held out his hand.
Logan took Trigger’s hand in a shake and then let go offering him back the glowing sword. Trigger shook his head backing up a step. “It is yours Mr. Logan of the Jones. As I said do with it what you will. Your instruction will start right away when you’re ready.” He said.
Logan turned to look at Darla. He nodded to her before he threw the sword to her. Darla stepped toward him and caught the sword by the handle in the air. She nodded to sword and tested it with swing in the air. “It is a fine magical sword. I’ve never seen the like of it.” She said.
Logan nodded. “It’s yours. I have no need for it. I’m going to make my own weapon.” He said with a grin.
Darla frowned at him. “I can not accept this. Are you offering me bribe? That would be very unwise of you.” She said.
“Wrong. Let’s try it again. Your supposed to say thank you my Lord for the gift. I promise you to reward you in bed tonight as is my duty.” Logan said with a wave of his hand toward her.
Darla stared at him and then smiled slowly. “I see. Thank you Master for you gift. I promise to reward you with the bounty of my warm body tonight for your pleasure.” She said in a thick Swedish accent to Logan’s ears.
Logan grinned nodding his head. “I approve. I’m glad you appreciate my benevolent kindness.” He said.
“Hero Logan Locus.” Sargent Jai said.
Logan looked at Sargent Jai and waved for him toward the other heroes. “Please excuse my interruption to you’re proceedings. You can get back to it. I’ll be learning from Trigger. I’ll keep to myself and learn what I need to know for the job King Harold hired us to do.” He said.
Sargent Jai stared at him. “Hero Logan Jones. I will assign to you you’re magic teachers and trainers and you will follow my instructions.” He said.
“What class are you?” Logan said.
“Excuse me?” Sargent Jai said in slightly annoyed question.
“What class are you. I’m just wondering.” Logan asked again unbothered by the tone in Sargent Jai’s voice.
“I am Warrior class with two decades of experience in combat and war against the demon nation. You’re teachers are experienced healers and warriors as well. You will be well up for the task once you have concluded your training here at the castle training grounds. You do well to follow our instructions and do what you are told for you’re own good of course. Do you understand me?” Sargent Jai said infusing in his voice dominance and control.
“Do any of these trainers or teachers you have have the ability to teach me to heal a squad? If I get into a battle I want to heal the whole squad. I can’t waste time healing one person at a time. Who can help me do that?” Logan asked.
Sargent Jai was quiet. “Our trainers and teachers will help you strengthen you’re healing ability. There is no need to heal a squad of five people at a time. I know you are new to this world but it is impossible.” He said.
Logan knew otherwise and he had seen it but he nodded acknowledging Sargent Jai’s words. “Interesting. Do any of these teachers you have have the ability to craft magical marksman weapons? I’m going to need to make a weapon strong enough to take out five enemies in a battle.” Logan asked.
Sargent rolled his shoulders and glared at Logan. “What is your point?” He said.
Logan nodded. “I was trained by warriors with more experience then you or you’re trainers sense I was a child. I need to craft marksman magical weapons for myself. I also need to learn how to heal a unit of people. You can’t teach me any of that shit so I’m going to teach it to myself. That’s my point. I’m not interested in wasting time learning shit I don’t need. The wizards here must have a library here or books. I’ll go there to learn the magic I need by myself on my own time. Have I cleared everything up for you?” He said.
Sargent Jai’s glowed red for a second and he laughed. It sounded and was a forced laugh. “Fine. Fine. That sounds like a proper good plan Hero Logan Jones. I approve of you doing so. You may proceed with my permission.” He said.
Logan stared at him shaking his head. The old bastard seemed to fighting an emotional break down. He could see all the hate and bad will he had toward Logan in his eyes. He knew that the chances of this big green bastard killing before he left the castle were high.
Sargent Jai turned his back to Logan and proceeded to ignore him. He started questioning the others on their classes while pointedly pretending Logan didn’t exist.
“You have the ability to read magical languages?” Darla asked him.
Logan nodded his head but his gaze was on Sargent Jai’s face. “Yeah. Sure do.” He said and turned to Darla was watching him closely. “What’s on your mind baby girl?” He said.
Darla flushed at the statement. “Baby girl?! Strange statement. What does that mean from where you come from?” She asked him.
Logan grinned. “It’s means your mean.” He said.
Darla stared at him and then she nodded her. “I see. Yes. that makes sense by the tone you used. You should be more careful.” She said more quietly.
“I would agree with your Mrs. on that Mr. Logan Jones.” Trigger said just as quietly. “Sargent Jai is head slave here and manager over us.” He said.
Logan nodded his head. “Yes. I’m following you on that. All the same, I can’t waste time learning shit I don’t need in war against the demon Lord and her people.” He said.
Trigger stared at Logan silentlu before he nodded his head. “Indeed. Do you wish ti begin your studies now.” He said.
Logan nodded. “Sure do. Let’s get to it.” He said.
Let’s dive deep into the mind of guardianDogg. Let us discuss the stories of our modern weird as fuck times. The dark comedy drama we are living in.. Plus I do little experimenting and reading from one of my stories that’s popping right now.
Logan felt the kick of skill upgrade and new skill unlocked in his body. At the same time he heard the ping of the instant effect it was doing to his body and awareness. His senses sharpened. He scanned the training area with a different vision.
He took in the fight going on in the sand ring in front of him a few feet away. He knew it was just about over. It was all a show neither male slave was trying to hurt the other. They were assigned to showcase what the youths would be learning in the coming months.
Logan noticed Sargent Jai give both combatants a look with a nod of his head. On cue one the slave swung around using his sword to push his combatant back with wind magic. The other slave was thrown out of the ring turned using the sword he stabbed the ground with wind magic. The slave launched himself up from the force of the punch and he did a backflip onto his feet.
Logan smiled as he took in the show of magic and skill. It was magic he had seen before in another life. He studied both men with new senses and eyes and recalling the events and both men’s mastery in wind magic. He analyzed the fight and digital numbers appeared over their heads. Indicating. Level 150 wind magic was the number of the man inside the ring. The man outside the ring had a level 260 wind magic above his head.
Logan blinked and numbers disappeared. He grinned. As he realized only a few seconds had passed as he had used his new skill and added on to his plan.
Both Slaves turned and bowed to Sargent Jai. Jai laughed clapping his hands as the others followed suit and they cheered for the two slaves. Logan was quiet though.
Sargent Jai then turned back to his group of trainees. “Wind combat magic is what you will come to learn and master here along with many other things. Your lessons will begin tomorrow. Today we will go through magical placement and then we dine together here. The king has prepared a fine feast for you all to enjoy. Who is first to be tested in what class you should fit in?” He said and looked at Logan expectantly and gave him a friendly smile.
Logan stared. “Marksman is my class and trade. I entertain females as my hobby.” He said.
Sargent Jai stared at him. “King Harold expressed as much to me. Though that your talents of magical healing would serve the group better. You will be trained by our support healer soldiers. You could do well for a bit of wind magic training if you have the skill for it.” He said.
Logan ignored Sargent Jai disregarding him as he walked past him to the slave wing magic user staring at him. Logan nodded to him. “You’re pretty damn good at what you do. I’m Logan Jones. I’m a Marksman. What’s your name?” He said.
The slave frowned but he nodded to Logan. “Trigger of Heights. What is a Marksman class?” He asked.
The other slave next to him laughed. “Sounds like a lot shit to me. He most be a throw away archer or something.” He laughed in Logan’s face.
Logan waved a hand at the wood sword in Trigger’s hand. “Do you need that?” He asked.
Trigger frowned glancing back over Logan’s shoulder at Sargant Jai. Logan saw Jai give a stiff nod.
Trigger handed it to Logan. “You can have it for practice.” He said.
Logan took the wood sword examined it and then he waved it expertly before he pointed the blade at a practice dummy a few feet away. The wood blade glowed for a second and then blue magic launched out from the blade. The blue magic raced quickly for the dummy and exploded on impact.
There was long silence as Logan smiled. As he held a glowing blue blade sword. “Marksman class means I blow shit up with magic. That wind magic trick you did with your sword. Can you teach me how to do that?” He said.

Logan kept Darla close to him as walked to the entrance/exit out of the summoning room. Princess Jasmine waited at the entrance. She had a magical glow around her body that enhanced her already attractive appearance. Logan knew what she was doing. He was already feeling himself slipping into that trap though tried to push against the magic she was pushing out.
Darla brushed her hip against Logan’s side. He looked at Darla’s breasts then her face. Darla narrowed her eyes at him. “We will have sex tonight. Yes.” She said in a voice that was questioning if not a little innocently hopeful. Her accent reminded him of a Swedish model he had a wonderful time with on his vacation in Europe.
Logan stared at her. “Say that again.” He said.
Darla frowned. “We will have sex tonight. Yes. Why you look at me like that?” She said in the same Swedish heavy accent.
Logan grinned. “This going to be so much fun.” He said as he guided her along she opened her mouth to ask him what he was saying.
“Excuse me. I would to introduce myself. I am Princess Jasmine.” Jasmine said in font of Logan.
Logan paused to look at her at the same time his hand started to rub Darla’s side. Darla stiffen up but didn’t knock his hand away. He ran his hand lightly on exposed neckline. Darla’s reaction was instant. He smiled at Jasmine barely focusing on her. Darla’s breathing had changed as she got excited. “Hello, Princess Jasmine. I’m Logan Jones. Nice to meet you.” He said with a small bow of his head to her.
Princess Jasmine smile at him brightly and the glow around her body brightened for a second. Logan nodded. “Well I got to go. See your around.” He said and guided Darla away to join the others leaving quickly.
Princess Jasmine stared at him with a shocked surprise on her face. Her beautiful face frozen on a seductive smile as he moved around her without a second glance. Logan led Darla away with the crowd of youths as they were herded to the training and sleeping quarters.
Logan kept a possessive around Darla’s waist the whole time they were led outside. The young people took in the wealthy fantasy of castle as they passed down carpeted hallway.
Paintings of Harold and his daughter and the landscape of the kingdom of Grim Old proper were on the walls. The youths were all awe stroke while Logan could only grin sardonically to himself. They never noticed how there were no servants around. They just accepted the fact they were kidnapped from their home worlds with good intentions to be heroes.
Logan hadn’t bought into Harold’s story the first time. He had made on mistake though. This was his second chance he was smarter now and he had a plan. They were guided along.
Logan got more then a few odd looks from the youths at his open sexual interest of Darla. The ones that stared to long in judgment he flipped them his middle finger. The humans from earth got the message and quickly looked away. One man with jade Hair and blue eyes from another world stared at the jester wondering what it meant.
“Hey asshole!” Logan said in a friendly tone.
The man looked at Logan in confusion. “Asshole?! Oh hello. What does that jester mean with your hand?” He said.
“It means stay fuck out of my business before I break my foot off in your ass.” Logan said staring directly at him.
The man’s face flushed in embarrassment and he turned away. Darla herself remained quiet observing the behaviors and judgmental stares with indifferent. The females from earth giggled while the men shook their heads.
Everyone pretty much minded their own damn business after that. It was as they were entering an open outside area with sleeping quarters on the sides. There was a circular fighting pit area in the center of the complex. The place brought back a series of memories for Logan of pain and humiliations.
They were immediately divided into seven groups. He and Darla were put into a group together with Vince as planned by one of the none human instructors.
Sargent Jai was a tall green skinned man bare chested with dark brown trousers and leather boots on. He looked pretty normal but for his green skin magical presence around his body. The man even had a handsome kind enough face that made it easy for him to herd people into groups. They focused on his every word. Logan looked around at the training area. The scent of dry blood and sand attacked his senses. Logan kept his main focus on Darla though as he prepared for the shit show to begin.
“Welcome heroes. I am Sargent Zed Jai. I am your trainer. I will teach you to fight and survive in the world once you leave for your journey after three months. Today we will celebrate you’re arrival here. But first a demonstration of what you will learn to master.” He said in a friendly voice and clapped his hands like a king. He summons two young male muscled warriors with slave collars around their necks. They were naked from the waist up both wearing leather shorts and no bare foot. They walked toward the fighting ring. They wooden swords in their hands and lines of scars on their backs and arms. They got in the ring and quickly started to fighting it out with brutal fast force.
Logan frowned because he didn’t remember any demonstration on the first day they had come to this world. The other kidnapped youths looked on in sick fascination at the brutal contest between the two slaves.
Logan felt someone watching him and he looked toward Sargent Jai. He was staring at Logan with a look of open disgust on his face. Everyone else was distracted by what was going on in the ring. Sargent Jai blinked in surprised at being caught. He fixed his face with a calm look and nod of fake ass respect at Logan. Sargent Jai glanced at Darla before he turned his back on Logan and looked at the fight.
Logan simply smiled at the green two faced bastard. Sargent Jai had always hated Logan. He hadn’t shown it all the days he had trained Logan along with the others but Logan known it. He just hadn’t known that the green bastard had wanted to kill him as well. He also didn’t miss that look Jai gave Darla.
Hmm. Look like this was going to be the first shift in the time line. Things were going to be different from now on going foreword. He would have to adjust his plan on the go. He would use every bit of knowledge he could get to win. It was as he was thinking these thoughts that his system menu alerted him internally to special message before him.
Logan noticed a sudden pause in Harold’s speech. He glanced out the side of his eye to see Harold paying a close attention and focus on Darla. Logan let go of Darla’s hand to the small of her back casually guided her to the crowd.
Harold started up with his speech again. Logan paid little focus on it. It was background noise and flowery words meant to tug on the youth around them. Logan felt the tug of the magic Harold used in his voice attempting to work on him. He purposely turned his focus away. He looked at Darla. He noticed her scent. She smelled of fresh air and woods.
Darla was watching him though he knew she was still aware of everything Harold was saying. She had advanced hearing along with other natural enhancements. He stared at her with open interest.
“You are playing a game with me?” She said using a private soft voice. Her right eye brow raised though. “Are you using me to whet your interests?” She said already suspecting him of more then a sexual interest in him.
Darla was sharp to suspect he was up to something. She was a key element in his plan. The game was played against him from day one he got here. This time he was going to play his own game. He was aware of a few eyes looking at him and Darla.
“When man finds a woman on your world to be his woman. What do they call that relationship on your world?” Logan asked her.
Darla frowned at him and she shook her head. “Relationship?! What does this word mean. What does this have to do with sex?” She said.
Logan smiled. “What do you call a man that has sex with a woman continuously?” He said.
Darla’s cheeks flushed but she stared at him seriously. “A female would be his slave or his mate but there is no difference in my realm. Are you attempting to make me your slave? I thought you just wanted sex?” She said.
Logan grinned. “You know I think I kind ah like you’re world operates.” He said with a chuckle.
“YOU! FACE ME!” Harold said in a commanding voice of magic. Logan turned on his heel and faced the attention of Harold’s deep magical focus. “State your name and class. Hero.” He said to Logan forcing compliance from him. Harold’s eyes glowed intently with a striking impact of magical energy.
Logan couldn’t lie. It was a truth tell. A spell Harold used on Logan many times before and the others to find out the truth. He focused his mind on what he did in his home world. He had been trained and educated from the time he was ten in marksmanship and hunting. He thought about the competitions he entered won and lost. His family had been soldiers, hunters and tradesman. “Logan Jones. Marksmen is my job class. Entertaining women is my leisure time.” He said and got some laughter at the end of his words from the youths.
Harold snorted shaking his head and blinked freeing Logan from the spell. Logan rolled his shoulders as he stared at Harold now.
Harold’s magical eyes still glowed with power but amusement was in them as well directed Logan now. “Well Marksman. Are you trained in any other weapons besides firearms and such?” He asked and punched a little magic in his words at the end to make it a command.
Logan felt punch but he was able too keep on his feet and keep his mind focused. “My people taught me to use all kinds of weapons in combat. I also have a talent for using many kinds of magic.” He said.
Logan could see the interest in Harold’s golden magical eyes now. The wizards behind him as well were perked up with interest at Logan now. “Healing magic. That can be very useful in heroes group. Do you have talents in that?” Harold asked.
Logan shrugged. “A little bit here and little bit there. It depends on what you’re paying me.” He said and got a shocked silence afterward.
Harold stared at him in surprise. “You have been called to be a hero for this land. A fated savior for the good people of Grim OLD. A land of peace and-” Harold said but he stopped when Logan opened his mouth wide and yawned. Harold’s wide eyes and face showed shocked amusement.
Logan waved a hand. “Ah yeah. Mr. King. I don’t give a damn about that shit. I’ll do the job you called me here to do. I just got a small fee for it and I’ll fit into the position you want. I don’t work for free.” He said.
Harold stared at him. His eyes glowed staring at Logan scanning his body and then he nodded at Logan. “What is your small fee?” He asked.
Logan nodded. “I want knowledge on light and fire magic. That’s my fee.” He said.
Harold seemed to relax visibly and even smiled as he nodded his head. “Indeed. You will be given that training more then enough training. We have combat teachers that will help you.” He said.
Logan shook his head. He knew already knowing where Harold was trying to screw him over again for a second time. The trainers wouldn’t teach him shit or give him the skills needed for his plan. “No that’s not what I mean. I want books and space and time to get myself ready for whatever job you called us here to do. Respectfully I’ve already have training from experienced warriors and such.” He said.
Harold looked a little annoyed but laughed it off. “It must be a miscommunication between us or you are not hearing me clearly. I said you would get what you combat teachers that will help you onward in your destiny. Enough talk. Your teachers are at the door and will lead in education and training.” He said a little bit more heatedly with smile. The crowd seemed to calm and smile at his face.
Logan knew it was the magical charm he was using on them. Logan shrugged seeing this conversation going a direction he didn’t care to go.
He ignored Harold as he stared at the wizards behind Harold. His gaze focused on a wizard staring at him.
Logan remembered him. The wizard had a position he held in the castle library. A plan formed in his head as a smile curved his lips. He looked at Harold to see him studying Logan very closely not smiling now.
Logan turned to Darla and putting his arm around the back of her hips. He then started guiding her to the crowd meeting at the exit. Darla frowned at him not saying anything at how casual he had taken to leading her around. Logan saw Princess Jasmine wave at him and give a pretty smile. She stood among the kidnapped youths waiting for him.
“Do you care if I have a mate already?” Darla asked in a light tone that implied she didn’t care much herself. She was just asking a question.
Logan shook his head staring at her face. “None whatsoever. Why should I? You want me. I want whole bunch of you so nobody else should matter at all between us but a good time. You smell very nice.” He said smoothly.
Logan blinked several times and then realized he was alive. He stood was again back in King Harold’s magical summoning great hall room. He was surrounded by many other young people ages from sixteen to twenty-one. It was a mixed group of youths all under the age of thirty. Though not all of them were from earth as Logan. He was dressed in a black shirt, jeans and boots. The same clothes he had had on when he had been working at his Uncle Frank’s gun range. He realized he had really gone back in time. He had gone back to the day he had been summoned to this world.
Many of the young people were from many worlds and in the realm. Logan knew most of them. There were more then a few handful youths that were going to die soon. Only a few of them would reach the country ruled by the demon lord herself.
He felt a sense he was repeating a moment in his past again. Only it was reliving a breath of a moment of confusion before a nightmare was about to begin. He was back where he started. The beginning from the day he had been summoned to this place with the others.
He looked around finding the members of the group he was going to be attached to in a few minutes. He ducked away behind a pillar away from the crowd of confused youths. “System menu!” He said.
His system menu appeared before him. It was a floating menu in front of him no one could see but himself. The pale blue floating menu listed his name and skill set.
Logan Jones
Class: Bard
Level: 219
Skills: Song magic. Minor healing. Marksmanship. Charm. Intelligence.
Alliances: None
There it was. A short list of all that he had going for him. He had upgraded to level 200 at least. He still didn’t have the necessary skills to survive this world. That was going to change though. He looked up when he felt someone watching him.
It was Darla. She stood taller then every youth in the group dressed like a archer in dark deer leather armor. She staring at him with sexual interest. She even gave him a little smile. A shy smile. He got a flash back to the first time he had saw her. He smiled and gave her wink. Her cheeks flushed with heat and her eyes were excited. He quickly looked away. He was surprised.
Darla was virgin and she had had a crush on him from the start. Well that wasn’t true. Darla had a obsession of Logan the first time they met. Logan had to shake himself out of that mod of thinking. This was the first time they met.
“CHOSEN HEROES. COME FOREWORD. WELCOME TO THE REALM OF GRIM OLD.” The chief wizard adviser spoke up from the front calling the kidnapped “heroes” to the front. King Harold and his wizards stood with him.
Harold was a tall handsome man dressed in shinning magical armor for effect. Harold studied them with his magical eyes. Logan felt that magical eye lock on him once before moving on to the others.
Logan noticed when Harold’s attention locked on Vince. Vince was dressed in a white military navy academy uniform and he stood out among the crowd. Vince had just graduated from military school with honors. Logan followed the crowd staying in the back mostly but he did notice how Darla was drawing closer to him.
Princess Jasmine a beautiful golden hair witch dressed in white armor. She stood to her father’s right watching the crowd. She was studying them all. She focused on Logan then. He knew the plan she had going in her head. She had played him and distracted him in pivotal moments that cost him time and education in magic.
He had to block that witch from fucking with his plan. Darla was close enough now. He turned toward when the others were up front more and they were the last to gather closer. The king was about to make a bullshit speech to enchant the crowd of fools into a death march.
Logan held out his hand to her. “I’m Logan Jones. What’s your name?” He asked her smoothly.
Darla stared at his face before she snapped out of her sexual trance before she took his hand. She started to speak in her own language until it shifted into something I could understand. “I’m Darla Demure of Saints. My profession is archer and magical warrior. What is your profession Mr. Logan?” She said.
Logan nodded. “Nice to meet you Darla. I am a marksman by trade and a I like to entertain people especially women. I hope we’ll be able too get know each other in the future in personal way. Do you like to be entertained?” He said.
Darla frowned. “You wish to have sex with me?” She asked in open honesty.
Logan nodded his head again. “Of course. That’s why I’m talking to you as you know. That’s also why you’re talking to me now. You want want to ride too. I know you do.” He said smoothly.
Darla stared at me. “Oh. Well you’re sure of yourself.” She said.
Logan smiled at her until her cheeks flushed with heat.
Twenty-eight hours later. The once beautiful kingdom of the demon was set on fire and the town in ruin. Half the town was burning and the people still alive were on the run. Vince was as always leading from the back as Logan and Darla lead the others inside the palace. The palace was quiet. No one was inside but a light emitted from the double doors of the throne room in front of them.
Logan lifted his magical revolver and blasted the double doors to the thrown room of the demon lord apart. Inside a single figure was inside dressed in a beautiful white dress with silver glowing staff in her hand. She was beautiful lady with the wings of a eagle behind her back. Logan could only snort again at the comedy. He had not been told much about the demon lord. However, his masters had been crafted stories for his imagination to expect something different.
She was silent as she waved them forward. “I am Winter Glen. Come. Let us end it. I am the one you are looking for.” She said in a voice echoing around the room.
Logan advanced with Darla close at his side. He lifted his revolver to blast their enemy. Suddenly the demon lord shot fire and ice hit Darla in the chest full on. Logan was shoved to the side as Vince raced at the demon with his shinning sword and roaring. The others followed him.
Logan went over to Darla. He ripped away her armor exposing her chest. He placed his hand on her chest and called to the goddess to his aid to heal her. His hand glowed and energy passed between them as he felt coming back from the wall of the departed.
Darla opened her eyes as the hole in her chest was closed up. She glared at him and shoved his hand away from her chest. She tried to get up but fell back down.
Logan took her in his arms pulling her close as she tried to resist him. She froze when he kissed her. He started channeling his own life energy into her body. Her body glowed and she was healed. She gentle pushed him away and stared at his pale face.
“I hate you. You should have chosen me in the beginning.” Darla said.
Logan nodded. “Yeah. I should have. For what it’s worth. I regretted it every day. Let’s finish this shit.” He said getting to his feet on shaky feet. He started toward the demon lord as she fought off Vince and the others easily with her stance and magic. He started firing on her. Suddenly, he came to stop as he felt something punch through his back and out of his stomach. He looked down at Darla’s fist and smiled.
Darla threw his body at the Demon lord surprising her for a moment. It was enough. Vince finished off the demon lord taking off her head and kicking her body to the ground. Logan lay on top of the demon lord’s body as her blood flowed around him.
Vince and the others walked away Darla didn’t even spare him a second glance. Logan laughed. This stopped them. Vince looked back in mild surprise.
“Your still alive.” He said.
Logan chuckled. “I knew it was going to end this way Mr. Hero. Just know one thing. You and your piece of shit party never would have made it here if it wasn’t for me.” He said laughing.
Darla shook her head at him and walked away. The others followed her out but Vince stayed. “Your right. King Harold told me as much. It was the reason you were trained in healing arts coasted along in training by Sargent Zed. You were a tool from the beginning.” Vince said with a shrug. “It was either that or the others were going to die. We needed a healer and sacrifice. You were pretty useless to us and you would have been killed or enslaved either way.” He said.
Logan nodded. “I guessed as much when you put the fucking collar around my neck. Never did buy the disobeying orders bullshit. That pretty much is the end for me.” Logan said calmly.
“How are you able too still talk and are alive?” Vince asked.
Logan shook his head. “Fuck off. You won I lost. I don’t you owe anything. Get the fuck on Vince and let me die in peace.” He said.
Vince turned on his heels and walked away. Logan chuckled to himself. He felt his soul being called to the after life and wall between life and death was close. Everything stopped.
Logan felt it and then he heard a system alert go off before his system menu appeared before his eyes. Extra life granted. Level upgraded 110 Gold bard level.
Second stage of Demon lord rebirth confirmed.
Logan’s body was pushed aside. The demon Lord came to her feet in shining clothes and taking up her staff. She ignored Logan step over him walking quickly toward the direction of the heroes. Logan was used to being treated like this sense he had been kidnapped to this world.
He was bard class. Short and no powerful abilities but healing and magical fire arms. His system menu popped up again as he heard fighting and death outside the palace. The option to start over or pass on was before him in a menu.
He pushed Bard ree-birth button. He was instantly bathed in a white warm light that expanded around him.
