I’ve mastered the art of brainstorming. I love process of it and the freedom of just taking images/ideas and smashing them together to suddenly make something I have never heard about or read anywhere before. It’s like a dice roll on a street corner for a couple of dollars. Some times you roll snake eyes some times you hit big with a 5 and 2.
That’s my type of gambling. I love the options and thrill of what could be the outcome and rush of a big big money creative explosion of ideas. Down side is once the creative explosion begins. Well it usual takes me months to crack out something good and then there is the rewrite.
November’s kiss or nanowrimo is a challenge I’m hoping to win big on this year. Though I’ve got back log ideas I’m picking on to see if they go I don’t know. I want to shoot for 50k words in a month this year. I don’t know though. I already have several projects I’m working I don’t know if I should shoot for it this time or just….
You know what fuck it. 50K. I’m going to do the thing this year. I might even have live stream events for it to screen record it. I got to try and I got ideas about what I want to write about….
50k in a month. My best as been about 20-30k in a month at best. Fuck it let’s do the thing. I’ll lump it into my other projects and make it do what it do.
Club Zane was blazing with Bang Baby energy. You feel me?! Me and the girls were on break for a minute for an hour by the word of Zaddy G. It was wonderful. We hadn’t had a free night in six months and this was going to be our one and only before six a.m. and then we would be on hitting the streets turning a up the charm and then hitting the sheets for some eb coins to be emptied into our a DataPad coin accounts.
I was shaking and grooving and then I felt a tap on ass. I turned to see Zaddy G’s glowing green eyes. He was on the juice. But there was clarity in his eyes as well. He was all business. “Who is it?” I asked knowing he wanted me to start working again.
“The Jons at the bar. Red shirt and cheap black suit. Get him up stairs to room Twenty-Two. You’ll have second night of free tomorrow my little gift to you.” He said giving my lips a quick kiss and slipping the key in my pocket.
I don’t giggle and don’t say anything. I just move on to the bar wiping my lips of his taste. A second free night!? Yeah right! He was fixing to dump me. He said the same shit to Daisy when she turned twenty-five and was all used up with a few extra pounds on her belly and ass and to much jaded despair and drug use in her eyes.
I didn’t have the weight problem but I did have jade in my eyes and ways. I didn’t smile as much anymore or felt the need to be all that charming. Though honestly I didn’t need to. I was 6’2 fit and beautiful. I could get charm it or ask for a Jons money easy on the spot and I was turning twenty-six in a matter of days. My time was up. I had no idea what the hell I was going to do. Zaddy G was my manager and held all the keys to my account. I had no trouble guessing that before the night was up I was going to be out of ebs before I woke up from night in the sheets.
I needed to turn this night around. It was time I got to thinking about what to do next. The ride was over and I needed to hitch on to something else. I made my way to my last Jon for the night and my life maybe. I sat down in front of him. A news story was playing on the Big Vid screen above the bartender’s head. I waited for the Jon to notice me and buy me a drink.
“You want a drink before we head up stairs?” He said.
I was quiet letting him watch me and talk. I half ignored him not caring what the hell he was saying. It was all apart the game anyway. I found the story playing above more interesting. The couldn’t hear a word going on but it was another weird mystery about a murder and theft. Solo. Terry Sergio was in the background behind The Judge Bran Rafe and several authority officers all standing tall and acting like they had solved the case. The cameras focused on The Judge as he started speaking answer a question. I noticed the background where Sergio was making his quiet exit from the crowd.
I felt a hand on my shoulder. I brushed his hand away and turned my attention to him. “Let’s go, party.” I said and started walking away from him to follow me. He quickly caught up with me and wrapped his arm around my waist. I allowed it and kept on walking. I saw Zaddy G at the door pretending he was talking to somebody. He was watching and pointedly showed me my Data-Pad in his freehand. I smiled pulling on my mask to get ready for work. I snapped my fingers away from Zaddy G;s vision and the lights clicked off for a second before they came back on. It had been enough. My Data-Pad would be fried and he wouldn’t be able to use it. While he was figuring out how to get it repaired so he could get into my account I would be on the run not right after I got whatever cash I could out of this Jon. I was going to be nice. I would give him a good time but I for damn sure was going to get some Credits to use.

She had me with that look. I didn’t even know what the mystery was but she just had me taking it even before I heard whatever bullshit story she was fix’n to give me. I would listen. But all the same I knew I would take it for the look. Negating the fact she had broken inside my apartment and stood staring at me. Her back was to the view of the Red District.
“It’s the working hours you know. I have an office stairs. You could have waited outside-“
“No I couldn’t. I’m going to be picked up in a few hours for a murder. I need help. I need your help. I don’t have ebs but I can pay you in something else.”
“Not interested in payment. Just tell me the story.” I said.
She glared at me. “I ain’t asking charity. I can pay you in a bit of time in the sheets.”
I stared at her. I started to hear sirens going off and drawing nearer toward my building. “Your running low on time trying to keep your professional dignity in check. Tell me a story. I’ll get my payment if I can help you figure it out. I can’t be sure I will but a mystery will be payment enough for me. I don’t need the money.”
“Fuck it then. I don’t need your help! I had a interesting story to tell too. I hear you like hearing interesting stories. You just missed out.” She said and tried to walk past me. I stood in her way and stared at her.
I smiled. “I need an assistant and maid to keep my place clean.”
“I can swing it and I’ll spot you some later when your interested in a fun time. I’m a real good lay mate. I got moves.”
This kid was getting on my nerves. This story had better be a good one. I rolled my eyes and waved a hand to a seat back near my wall. I heard a cruiser down below parking at the corner and then doors opening and running feet advancing inside and up the stairs. She started looking afraid. I shook my head. “Sit down. You won’t be going anywhere until I get my story. But. You best get to the good parts fast.” I said opening the door as Grey Handy appeared with his partner Chris Winks with him. I smiled at them. “Hey youngsters grab a seat. Your about to hear a interesting story.”

“You fucking bitch. Your fucking psycho. I told you it was over. Who the fuck told you to start telling your people what’s between us was anything but something to do when either one of us had an itch.” K said in a heated voice.
I heard K whispering in a heated voice as stared at the image of one of his current mistress. He glanced at me staring at him. He reached for me rubbing a hand down my flat belly and up to my breast. I heard the mistress scream.
I couldn’t help reacting by flinching at the sound and grabbing his hand. I felt a flash of danger, violence and murder. The feeling was directed at my children. My stomach twisted but I held it in. He stared at me. I lowered my hand away from his hand and made myself relax back while he still touched me but the sound of her voice was putting me on edge. I tried to hold back my ability from sensing where and when the violence would out break.
K nodded responding to my physical reactions and unspoken words. He looked at the image of the girl. “I’m done with you. Don’t fucking call my number again because I won’t be the one answering in any other way but with a Red Distract solo.” He said and ended the call. He stared at me. “What is it?! Don’t lie. I know that look in your eyes. You sensed something is about to happened.”
I stared at K. “She’s going to be trouble. Did you bring her around them? Your sons.” I said.
K stared at me. “You mean our kids?! Why? What did you ah-shit? Fucking shit. Hold on.” He said and rushed to get the trash bin as I started to throw up.
I held it in until I could empty my stomach into the bin. When I was done I lay back in the the bed with K naked behind me rubbing my shoulders. “Damn it. Damn it. I didn’t mean to-“
“-Be quiet and listen to me for a sec.” K commanded me. “You didn’t do anything wrong? You did what your supposed to do. You told me where to aim my P-19. That’s all I needed to know for now. About Astro-” I said and paused and waited.
I shook my head. “I have never had sex with Mr. Astro. I never will have sex with Mr. Astro. Please forgo anymore questions in regards to me and Mr. Astro having sex. It will never happen. If you have heard any comments on such please regard them as degenerate fantasy of a psychopathic mind of….never mind.” I said pausing but it was to late. I had said to much. It was only because I was tired.
K was quiet. I could hear him thinking. I had an idea what he was already thinking of asking me. He cleared his throat. “How old is Astro?” K said. He was thinking now.
Oh he was close to the truth. “I’m older then him. Though he is in his thirties he is still a young man compared to me. Whatever your thinking about I don’t want to talk about it? There is nothing sexual between me and Mr. Astro. There never can be and never will be.”
“You got to tell me something? I’m thinking to many things right now. Maybe I need to kill Astro and his brother. What’s your connection to Astro? Peaches. Talk to me.” K said.
I shook my head. As I felt the memories from the past and my instincts about the future were waring in my mind. I couldn’t even imagine now. “I can’t go back to that past. Not for you or anyone. Ask me a question and I’ll answer you honestly. But, I’m not going to go into detail. It still hurts.” I said.
“Is he your kid?”
“Yes.” I said quickly.
“Shit! Peaches! Damn it woman. You had me thinking and doing a whole bunch of bullshit because of that kid. You could have just told me. Why didn’t you-“
“I fucked up. I tried to force my way back into his life. I only ended up messing up his life. Okay!” I shook my head. “I don’t want to talk about this. He’s not apart of my life. That’s the way it should be. So it shouldn’t matter anymore. Just leave it be please K.”
“Shit. Fine just relax. I’ll handle everything else.”
I had no idea what that meant I just hoped K would for once let it go and let Mr. Astro alone.

It was a welcome sight from several months of just sitting in hole or working in a fucking mine to just lower my sentence and playing nice with guards and taking shit from other in-mates. To be out. Finally out again. I was never going back.
“What are you thinking?”
I kept my focus on the city. “I’m not going back.”
“I know. I know bro. So better question is do you think Peaches is going to get you jammed up again on some bullshit like the last time?
I shook my head but I couldn’t help feeling it. “You don’t understand what’s it like. Going from the top of the hill to being hit with a fucking wall out of nowhere. All because encounter with a female you haven’t fucked with or fucked.”
“I can’t buy that shit. But why the fuck did she choose you.”
I started to open my mouth but then closed it again. I shook my head. “No. Let’s just concentrate on the job. I don’t even want to speak that female’s name anymore let alone think about her. Let’s just say some asshole put her on me and the good part is the bastard got his before I got sent into the Pin.”
“I hear you bro. It’s forgotten.”
