Impressions and what the fuck: The Bidening of Isaac Rebirth

I don’t know what the fuck to make of this game at times. I was rocking with for the first impressions and then I hit a wall and was hating it and then…

The Fuck.

In short….

It’s a bullet hell dungeon crawler Zelda stylish game with stupid humor and the creator hates his catholic fat ass mother.

The artwork is weird as fuck my dude.

You play Issac a fuck ugly kid falling through floors to escape his mother and battle her later and whatever. I have no idea why I keep playing this game other then…

I love Zelda games and the game play is addictive to me. The challenge of failing a hundred times to improve in short bursts at a time. Every new game is different and random how you’ll start out and what you’ll get a long play through and a short fuck this shit moment.

If you like a challenge or roguelike games then give a go the shit is on everything now.

A cyberpunk game review: Dex

I’ve been exploring and this game for a weeks now and just been addicted to the story and the look of the game. In two words of encouragement….

Fucking amazing!

It’s a 2d platformer, an rpg combat slightly heavy game with elements blending into various other genres and it has a bullet hell shooter game mode in this shit.

Even with all this the story and the branching arching paths are what so addictive to me. There is more then one way of solving a problem. There is more then one end to a possible storyline with the game and it’s just plain old fun.

I love the main character her abilities are presented and how you can upgrade and modify the character anyway you want. You can even go none lethal in the game play if you wish and still have a fun time.

The controls are keyboard and mouse with no controller mode so that is a bit of a downer but the setting and the feel of the game and even the voice cast is amazing.

Just an amazing setting and the art work is top gear.

You can get the Dex right now on gog.com on the cheap so it’s a buy for me.

Warm regards

Microsoft buys all the games.

The story and one gamers views on it.

Microsoft buys up a lot of old and new games by default and now gamers have one challenge to getting all those games on one system that is spread out over the pc and console gaming platforms of digital gaming services and some what physical gaming.

There’s two sides of the coin here. First the immediate benefit.

I say some what physical gaming because everyone that is into modern gaming knows the big companies (Nintendo excluded) want to go all digital or game streaming services only. Now with this bid of Microsoft that is going to happen.

The other side of the coin and a peek into the future and present conditions. Modern Digital games will become worthless and eventually some of these games will become loss when Microsoft can’t make any immediate money from them. All digital is a worthless junk food digital media not only from collectors stances but from a value stance of how disposable this media will be.

Hmm. an example being. Would you like to look at tits on a screen or be able to hold a pair attached to a chicka in bed with you at night. Really though. What holds more value? The physical or the digital?

Another example, books.

Book nerds that love books and adore the physically act of engaging with a book and having that story and moments of interconnected meeting of minds experience is why books will never be a digital only experience.

Yes. There are ebooks but for every dude that has one Ebook of his favorite book he has three physical editions of the same book. Physical books have a higher value. Ownership of the memories and experiences connecting with another mind and imagination.

Hmm. I am a all around gamer. I like different types of games. My favorite gaming experiences are the ones I shared with people in the same room as me playing both digital games and dungeons & Dragon’s.

I’m an imaginative guy so dungeon & dragons has always been a world wind of experience for me. But, the physical interactions and play with other people is just a world of it’s a value of it’s own.

I’ll conclude my thoughts by mentioning one digital/physical game that always comes to my mind silhouette mirage. It’s an old ps1 and Sega Saturn game that just comes to mind every once in awhile. Not just for Nostalgia sake.

It’s a good challenging fun game. I haven’t played in over twenty years. I could get a ps4 and buy it digitally on the console but then I wouldn’t really own it. I would rather buy the ps1 disc and own it out right. The manual and the colorful artwork on the case. I miss having that.

Funny enough I am a pc gamer all digital guy right now but I do have some physical digital games they’re all on one gaming platform…..

The legend of Zelda call back to the stories of west and the moral virtues of old.

The hero’s journey and the struggle for man against a power hungry pig and quest to save the princess.

The legend of Zelda is a series of games that vary in good, bad and weird. I have my favorites. I just like the series in general.

Zelda just offers fun and mini challenges that appeal to me as a pick up and play or just zen out on a Saturday morning.

Challenges. I just enjoy the levels of challenges that rang in degree.

The story isn’t fucked with that much overall but it has it’s levels of blend and refinement of the hero’s journey. I love how the Legends change but the archetypes and names remain the same. The moral code remains the same and layered in complex themes. Courage (the Hero) wisdom (the Princess) and power (the Pig).

Courage guided by purpose. Wisdom seen as the prize to obtain and power as seen as the thing to tame and bring into submission by the combination of courage and wisdom working together.

Gameplay is action adventure, challenges and puzzles. It’s all just one fun little ride.
