New myths, old myths and the legends that inspire me.

What am I trying to do?

I want to make my own myths. My own legends. I’m trying to honor my spirit brothers J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis. By following their examples of making stories that speak to me and are drawn from my culture from my tribe. Stories that I grew up reading and listening to and watching. The stories of my time.

I hate what the asshole’s are doing to the mythic legends of Batman and Superman. I hate what they did to the works Star Wars and heroism in general.

Who are they? The art/moral revisionist clown party gang.

Or

Clown party for short.

I like fantasy stories classic heroic stories. I like the moral codes of the west. The authority or archetypes that stand the test of time.

For Tolkien it was the myths of the Anglo-Saxon world.

For C.S. Lewis it was fantasy clashing with the modern world. Each held it’s own goodness, beauty and truth about life the things worth fighting for and sacrificing for in the struggle of the good versus the nature of evil.

For me it’s science fiction, Urban fantasy, Urban lingo clash of world views and cultures and classic action movies slamming into themes of fantasy tales of the 1980s and 1990s. To create the worlds of Cyberpunk dreams and Urban tales of today.
