Keep in mind I haven’t skipped to the ending to find out if it is a disappointment but I really don’t care.

The story so far and writing is like a pleasant little mystery through the country of another time and place.

It doesn’t feel long either. The pacing is wonderful. It feels like it needs to be the word count it is. I have to really space out time to keep enjoying it.

I’m charecter writer and the Luminaries keeps providing me interesting characters to just observe and look at their actions and how believe able they are to how certain people would act.

The book is also a good book to study as well.
